Chapel of Youth Foundation is an organization dedicated to pray for the broken hearted children irrespective of caste, creed and religion. It was started in obedience to God's vision and mandate given to Mrs. Barsha Rani Khalkho founder of CYF to serve the children through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. CY Foundation reaches out to all children across the country sharing the good news of hope and love. Implicit in the fulfillment of our mission is the continuous endeavor to give generous assistance to the relief of child need and suffering without any discrimination of faith, opportunity or status. CY Foundation is committed to serve the underprivileged bringing value to the lives of children as individuals, families and communities.
What we do Chapel of Youth’s Foundation is a registered non-government organisation (NGO) based in Chittaranjan, West Bengal. Our aim is to alleviate poverty and facilitate lasting change in the lives of the most vulnerable children and families living in urban slums. This is achieved by providing support through education, health and livelihood programmes as well as for children with special needs. We run special school for the underprivileged children so they are encouraged to attend school with their friends. We run organizations where we employ youngsters so they can live their dreams for themselves and their families. Children who are exploited in their early days need a helping hand and support for their mental health. We take them out of this zone to give them a better life. The underprivileged children do not have access to required financial help and resources needed to live the life of their dreams. We help them with everything they’ll need to live their dreams. The slum itself is an extremely dangerous place for children: alcoholism is rife, sexual exploitation and prostitution is common and hygiene levels are extremely poor.
