TULARE COUNTY RIDERS’ GUIDE Using this Transit Guide • Look at the top row of the timetable to find the stops closest to where you’ll get on and off the bus.

• Move down the columns to see what times (a.m. and p.m.) buses arrive at each stop. If your stop isn’t listed, use the time shown for the stop right before it, since it’s better to get there too early than too late.

T-Pass The T-Pass provides unlimited fixed route rides throughout Tulare County for $50 per month. A mid-month T-pass can be purchased after the 16th for $30. T-Passes may be purchased at the following locations: Dinuba Transit Center - 180 W. Merced St., Dinuba Porterville Transit Center - 61 W. Oak St., Porterville Tulare County Government Plaza 5961 S. See each provider’s information inside this Guide for details. Dial-A-Ride Dial-A-Ride service is curb-to-curb transit service scheduled in advance. Reduced fares are offered to seniors, disabled and Medicare cardholders. For fares and more information, see the individual transit providers listed inside. LOOP Bus The LOOP Bus Program, available to community- and faith-based organizations, school districts and local governments, provides at-risk youth with free transportation to activities throughout Tulare County at select locations. Connecting Regionally Tulare/Fresno Counties – V-LINE is a transportation service from Visalia to Fresno and back, offered by Visalia Transit. Each 20-passenger V-LINE shuttle offers comfortable seats, free Wi-Fi, USB Charging ports, and storage racks. All shuttles are wheelchair accessible and can accommodate up to two wheelchairs per trip. V-LINE shuttles also feature mobile payment options for one-way fares, and accept most major credit cards. Fresno County – DART offers a route to Reedley, where riders can connect with Fresno County Rural Transit Agency to travel into Fresno County Monday through Friday. Delano/Kern County – Seven days a week, TCaT’s South County Route 20 links riders to Delano Transit and Kern County Regional Transit. Connecting to the State and the Nation Orange Belt Stages links Tulare County to Hanford, Bakersfield, the Central Coast, Las Vegas and other areas via the Visalia Transit Center. Amtrak bus serves passengers at the Visalia Transit Center, with service to the Hanford station. For tickets and information, 1.800.USA.RAIL, visit Amtrak.com. Bike & Ride All fixed-route transit providers in Tulare County offer bike racks on buses to help you bike and ride. Space is first come, first served. Some DialA-Ride vehicles and Dinuba Jolly Trolly do not have bike racks. Passengers are responsible for loading and unloading of their bike. Always signal to the driver that you will be loading or unloading your bike. If no bikes are

TULARE COUNTY RIDERS’ GUIDE left in the rack, please return it to the upright position. Transit providers are not responsible for bikes left on or from damage arising from bikes not properly affixed to the rack. Bikes are not allowed in the bus.

Vanpooling A vanpool is a group of people, usually from 7 to 15 passengers, who commute together on a regular basis in a van. Most vanpools travel at least 40 miles round-trip. Bicicleta y Autobús Todos los proveedores de tránsito de ruta fija in en el condado de Tulare proveen estantes para bicicletas con sus autobuses para ayudarle in combinar los modos de transporte. Viajar Compartiendo una Camioneta Un vanpool es un grupo de personas, usualmente de 7 a 15 pasajeros,  que conmutan juntos regular mente en una camioneta. DART operates Monday through Saturday. No service provided on Sundays, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.

Catching a Bus All DART bus routes begin and end at the Dinuba Transit Center. DART riders may catch the bus at any designated bus stop. Tips for Riders (also see pages 2-4) Children younger than 5 should not ride the bus without adult supervision. Please limit carry-on packages to the size and number you can easily handle. Transfers/Connections Passengers may transfer between DART routes, or to Tulare County Area Transit (TCaT) at the Transit Center. DART connects with the Fresno County Rural Transit Agency (FCRTA) at Reedley College. Separate fares are required to board the TCaT and FCRTA systems. DART Flexroute The Flexroute is a combined fixed route and dial-a-ride service. Two 30-minute routes take you throughout Dinuba. Routes 1 and 2 operate along a fixed route, but leave the route to pick up dial-a-ride passengers between route stops. The Dinuba Transit Center is the transfer point between routes.

Dial-A-Ride Trips may be scheduled by calling 559.595.8800, Monday through Saturday. Reservations must be made at least 30 minutes in advance.

Dinuba Connection

This route, developed in partnership with the Fresno County Rural Transit Agency (FCRTA), provides regional transit service between the City of Dinuba (Tulare County) and the City of Reedley (Fresno County). Stops include Dinuba Transit Center, Tulare Works, SaveMart, Adventist Medical Center, Reedley College, Palm Village, DMV and Wal-Mart.

Bienvenido a DART

Proporcionando transportación directo, económico, y seguro a destinos centro y alrededor de Dinuba. DART opera de lunes a Sábado. No hay servicio los Domingos, Año Nuevo, Día de Conmemoración de los Caídos, Día de Independencia, Día del Trabajo, Día de Acción de Gracias, o Navidad.

Fixed route service is offered everyday. Demand-response Dial-ARide service is offered Monday through Friday (a oneday advanced reservation is required for rural Dinuba, Sultana, Monson, Cutler, Orosi, Pixley, Tipton, Earlimart, Alpaugh, Allensworth, Richgrove, Waukena, East Orosi, Yettem, Teviston, North Patterson Tract, Seville and Tooleville).

Catching a Ride For your safety we recommend catching the bus at designated bus stops. You may board or leave the bus at any point along the route where the driver can make a safe stop. Wave or flag down the bus at a safe pullout location. For your convenience, you may call a day in advance to let us know you will be waiting for the bus somewhere other than a bus stop. Deviated Fixed-Route Service To provide reasonable accommodation, Americans Disability Act (ADA)-eligible riders may request a route deviation pickup and/or drop off if it is within ¾ mile of Routes 10 - 90 by calling at least one day in advance of service. The ADA route deviation fare is twice the regular fare. Curb-to-curb service is provided unless a request is made for door-to-door service. Transfers/Connections You may connect with other transit services in the cities of Dinuba, Porterville, Tulare, Visalia, Woodlake and Delano. Separate fares are required to board those systems, with the following exceptions: transfers to/from Visalia Transit Route 1 are free; transfers to/from TIME are accepted on TCaT Routes 20 and 40; transfers to/from Porterville Transit are accepted on Routes 40, 60, 70, 80 and 90.

About V-LINE V-LINE is a transportation service from Visalia to Fresno and back, offered by Visalia Transit since 2015. Each 20-passenger V-LINE shuttle offers comfortable seats, free Wi-Fi, USB charging ports, and storage racks. All shuttles are wheelchair accessible and can accommodate up to two wheelchairs per trip. V-LINE shuttles also feature mobile payment options for one-way fares, and accept most major credit cards.
