The final inspection should be performed by a technician that has not worked on this engine position.
Perform Final Inspection of Accessed Areas for Material Condition and FOD Prior to Reinstallation of Panels.
Note:
Make certain “OK to Close” Has been signed by an inspector.
Note:
Secure the proper plates or access panels, check mating surfaces for cleanliness, and install using proper screws and screwdriver. Stow hold-open rods, tighten screws securely and/or fasten fasteners.
Note:
Secure engine cowl PP2L, PP3L and PP3R with approximately half the camlocs. These panels are reopened after run-up.

Reinstall Engine No. 1 Access Panels as Follows: a.
Install engine side access panels PP3L – PP3R.
b.
Install engine top access panels PP2L – PP24.
c.
Install prop access panels PP4L – PP4R.
d.
Install ice detector access plate PP7R.
e.
Install gear box drain access plate PP7L.

Install nacelle access panels 10 and 36.

Install engine control access panel PP6.
h.
Install engine oil cooler access panel PP5. If access plate PP5 was not removed for access, make sure to retighten all securing screws on access plate.
i.
Install fuel nozzle access plate PP9L – PP9R.
Note:
Place afterbody in position and install bolts and wiring.
CAUTION: j.
Do not attempt to install afterbody with prop in feather position. Afterbody and prop boot may be damaged
Install top section of spinner afterbody.
