MAGNET PAINTING " Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.” Jesus Mary Joseph Sr. Sec. School conducted an activity 'Magnet Painting' on 01 December 2022 for students of classes IX and X STEAM is an exciting way to combine art and science to come up with something pretty cool. Painting with magnets is a fantastic way to explore magnetism and create a unique piece of art. This magnet art project is a hands-on way to learn using simple materials. Paint, hardware, magnets and some paper for this crazy art meets science experiment. Students participated enthusiastically in this enriching and highly informative activity, conducted under the guidance of Ms. Sharmila R Nair.

Hans Rothenberg, a famous poet once said, "There is always a reason why farming is carried out in one way rather than another.” To bring awareness of the consumer products and farming techniques, students of classes VI - VIII actively participated in ‘Farm Grosser Activity’ organised on 3 December 2023. The activity allowed students to enhance their knowledge about the nuances of economic development and how farmers' markets allow consumers to have access to locally grown, farmfresh produce. The students made posters, banners and charts displaying their uniqueness. The activity indeed grew our students’ attention towards this life skill. Farm Grosser

MAKING CHRISTMAS GOODIES To herald the Christmas season and to foster the festive mood ‘Christmas Goodies Making Activity’ was conducted for the students of classes I and II on 13 December 2022. The young ones crafted beautiful Christmas cups using their wits and creativity. The activity was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience for our kids with the chance to show their artsy side. The winners were awarded with certificates. AGAMOGRAPHY To celebrate Christmas season to its maximum, an agamography paper craft activity was organized for the students of Prep and Nursery.The tiny tots prepared creative art forms that used optical illusion to create their little masterpieces. These beautiful creative ideas were brightly coloured that appeared to shape shift before a viewers eyes.This activity was indeed an amazing experience for our kids reflecting their perfect full craft as depicted in 3D cards they made.

One of the famous quotes says that- ‘Grandchildren are the crowning glory for the aged. ’ Indeed, Grandparents hold a special place in everyone's heart. To give honour to the grandparents, Pre-Primary Wing of JMJ School celebrated Grandparents Day on 26 November 2022. The special day was filled with dances and songs performed by the tiny tots. To balance the tone, many fulfilled games were conducted in which grandparents participated with great zeal and were bestowed with gifts. It was a successful event and our school always feel pleased to conduct such events.
