CANCEL YOUR DEBTS — BY CHRISTMAS DAY! Dear Partner, If you are reading this Partner letter in early December, the thought that “God can cancel your debts by Christmas Day” may sound foolish. Even impossible. Someone might think, “Dr. Winston, you have no idea how much I owe.”

Or, as the king’s attendant said in 2 Kings, chapter 7, “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?” (verse 2 NIV). The answer is yes. It can happen. However, to activate the SUPERNATURAL, you first have to think the SUPERNATURAL. That is, for GOD’S BLESSINGS to come on you and overtake you (Deuteronomy 28), get ready to receive what I call “foolish thoughts!” For instance, “Peter, go down to the lake and pull in the first fish that bites. Take the coin from its mouth and go pay what we OWE to the tax men.” Matthew 17:27 (Paraphrase) “Stressed-out single mom, go BORROW empty vessels from all your neighbors, and don’t BORROW just a few. Then go home, shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour the little jar of oil until every vessel is filled. Then sell the oil, PAY OFF YOUR DEBTS and live off the rest.” 2 Kings 4:2–3 (Paraphrase) Or, how about when God told me years ago to “buy that shopping mall”? Then in 2021, after many years of paying interest payments, God told me to pay the whole mall off. We only owed on the retail portion, and until last year my business strategy was to use the rent payments from the retail stores to service (pay off) the loan. This traditional business strategy sounded reasonable in the beginning, but it was slow and the pandemic made it even slower. The remaining balance was $7 million. God said to me, “I want you to pay $1 million a week until the mall’s debt is paid in full.” I obeyed and the debt was supernaturally paid off in seven weeks! Someone might ask, “Well, Pastor, why didn’t this happen sooner?” Simple, I had to RECEIVE GOD’S THOUGHTS.

God told Isaiah, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways… For as the heavens are HIGHER than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8–9). The Lord placed a demand on my God-given potential which empowered me to pay off the mall in record time. God wanted me to see my potential IN HIM, and He desires this for all of us. The thought that your debts can be canceled by Christmas Day is a way of placing a demand on your God-given potential in Christ.

A Better Way To Live To the natural mind, this supernatural debt elimination is not reasonable. The world has trained us, even in the Church, to think natural thoughts, such as monthly payments, credit scores, and debt consolidation plans. But not so in the Kingdom! The Lord has a better way for us to live. In the Kingdom, everything is by GRACE through FAITH, not time and effort and sweat and tears. (See Ephesians 2:8.) As a child of God, the Father does not want you to struggle for anything on this planet. In fact, this earth is part of your inheritance. To be clear, debt is not a sin. But when collection companies constantly call you because you can’t pay your bills, it can lead to pain, pressure, and even health issues. We see an example of this in 2 Kings 6 when the spiritual sons of Elisha were building a new meeting place. While one of the sons was cutting down a tree, his ax head flew off into the Jordan River. In distress and sorrow, he cried, “Alas Master, it was borrowed”! Elisha cuts a stick and throws it into the water. The ax head floats to the surface and the man of God shouts, “Grab it,” supernaturally cancelling the debt the young prophet would have owed. This story tells me that REVELATION comes as a FLASH, so when the THOUGHT for your debt-free strategy comes, you’ve got to GRAB IT! Partner, God can show you how to pay off your dream house in thirty days, then how to use the money you will save from thirty years of interest payments to fund the new business idea He gives you. Speak Like God Once you receive God’s thoughts, begin to MEDITATE and SPEAK His Word. Remember, your words rule your world. They are spiritual containers that have MIRACLE action. You can’t go around saying, “There's no way I can pay these debts by Christmas Day,” and expect God to work a miracle in your finances. You have just bound Him by the words of your mouth. “Death and life are in the power of your tongue” (Proverbs 18:21).

Your words can either deliver you or keep you in bondage. Jonah’s words delivered him from the belly of a whale. “In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me… I called for help, and you listened to my cry… And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land” (Jonah 2:2,10 NIV). In the New Testament, Paul’s words delivered him and a ship full of sailors from a terrible storm that had raged “until at last all hope was gone” (Acts 27:20 NLT). Paul said, “For the last fourteen days… you have been in constant suspense and have gone without food… Now I urge you to take some food… Not one of you will lose a single hair from his head” (Acts 27:33−34 NIV). Job discovered the root cause of his financial collapse and said to the Lord, “Teach me, and I will HOLD MY TONGUE: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred” (Job 6:24). One reason that Jesus came in the earth was to take us back up to GOD’S STANDARD. In the beginning, Adam SPOKE things into existence, just like the Father. God later taught Abraham how to change his destiny through WORDS. Abraham taught Isaac and Isaac taught Jacob. Paul had a revelation of this truth when he wrote, “therefore be imitators of God [copy him and follow his example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]” (Ephesians 5:1 AMPC). I believe the key to manifesting the SUPERNATURAL in your life is to see yourself as ROYALTY and RULERS over this planet. Then, TALK LIKE IT! Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power.” In closing, I pray this Partner letter encourages you to ask for and expect “foolish thoughts.” Dare to believe God. Then speak His Word until they manifest. Remember, Jesus said, “According to YOUR FAITH be it unto you” (Matthew 9:29). As you sow your seed this month, speak over it. I stand in agreement for your supernatural debt-free status by Christmas Day, in Jesus’ Name! “ALL-DEBTSARE-CANCELED—GOD SAYS SO.” (Deuteronomy 15:3 The Message) Veronica and I love you and pray for you every day.
