Texas’ Top Individual Donors in 2004 According to the Texans for Public Integrity, individual campaign contributions in Texas included the following highlights: · During the 2004 election cycle, individuals contributed a total of $128 million to Texas state political committees and candidates for state offices. · Sixty-nine of these individual donors contributed more that $100,000 apiece during the 2004 cycle. County Judge I was born in Danbury on November 7, 1936. My parents were sharecropper farmers. I am the second child of Donat and Marie Vrazel. I have 4 brothers and 5 sisters. I am married to Maureen Irwin since April 4th, 1964. We have 5 children: Melissa, Velecia, Sonny, Lee and Chris. We also have 13 grandchildren. My work ethic comes from mother and dad who taught us to work hard and to support one another at all times. I spent 2 years in the U.s. Army, stationed in Germany during the Cold War. The Russian troops were across the ling in Czechoslovakia. I have been a Democrat all my life. I am still a member of Pipefitters Local 211. My present occupation is plumber. I am self-employed at A-1 Plumbing. I have always liked politics. In 1953, the American Legion Post in Danbury sent me to Boys State in Austin, Texas. Before I started pipe fitting I was on the police force in Houston, Texas. Then I worked as sheriff’s deputy for Brazoria County I am running for county judge of Brazoria County because I along with all the citizens of this county need to stand up for our young and our seniors. I believe in “We the People.” I believe in common sense in government. I believe that if we don’t agree with the laws of taxation, we need to stand up against them.
