Instructions for use: This product is ideal for a Spanish 1 classroom when introducing how to conjugate regular –ER verbs. It is recommended that students review the six endings of regular –ER verbs (in the present tense) together with the teacher and class in order to complete the chart correctly. Students can then work together to complete the “Practica” (fill-in-the-blank), “Empareja” (matching), “Responde” (respond to questions), and finally “Escribe” sections (write original sentences). There are two distinct exit slips included as well. One slip can be used at the end of the lesson on Day 1 to see what students learned. This can act as a quick formative assessment. The second slip could be used as “bell work” at the beginning of Day 2 to see what the students learned and retained overnight. The slips could also be used as small assessments.
