Efemerópteros y plecópteros (Insecta) de las sierras Segundera, Cabrera y Teleno (NW de la Península Ibérica) M. Vidal & P. Membiela

RESUMEN

En este trabajo se realiza un inventario faunístico de los efemerópteros y plecópteros de las sierras Segundera, Cabrera y Teleno (NW de la Península Ibérica), basado fundamentalmente en capturas propias. Se aportan nuevos datos a la descripción de la hembra de Hemimelaenaflaviventris (Pictet, 1841) y a la distribución y períodos de vuelo de diversas especies, y se realiza un estudio biogeográfico de ambos grupos en el marco de la Península Ibérica. In this work is carried out the faunistic chek-list of the mayflies and stoneflies of Segundera, Cabrera and Teleno mountains (NW Iberian Peninsula) based on our captures basically. New data are shown to the description of the female oí Hemimelaenaflaviventris (Pictet, 1841) and about the flight periods and distribution of some species, and a biogeographic study about both groups is made in the mark of Iberian Península. y Teleno, zona de la que sólo existía un trabajo previo de ámbito temporal y espacial más reducido (GARCÍA DE JALÓN et al., 1986) y algunas citas aisladas en diversos trabajos que estudian fundamentalmente otras áreas geográficas (BERTMELEMY & GONZÁLEZ DEL TANAGO, 1983; GONZÁLEZ DEL TANAGO & GARCÍA DE JALÓN, 1981; 1983a; 1983b; GONZÁLEZ DEL TANAGO, 1984a; 1984b; STUDEMAN & TOMKA, 1987; MEMBIELA, 1989). Además, este estudio nos permite analizar la fauna de efemerópteros y plecópteros de un área sumamente interesante desde el punto de vista biogeográfico.

MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS Se han capturado larvas, adultos y exuvias de ambos grupos de organismos en un total de 11 estaciones de muestreo, cuya altitud y coordenadas U.T.M. se muestran en el Apéndice 1, repartidas por toda la zona y donde se han llevado a cabo cuatro campañas de muestreo con una periodicidad aproximadamente trimestral (Julio y Octubre, de 1990; Enero y Abril, de 1991). La bibliografía básica utilizada en la identificación de efemerópteros han sido los trabajos de MÜLLER-LIEBENAU (1969), BELFIORE (1983), GONZÁLEZ DEL TANAGO & GARCÍA DEL JALÓN (1983a), MALZACHER (1984) y ELLIOT et al. (1988), y para plecópteros los mencionados por SÁNCHEZ-ORTEGA & ALBA-TERCEDOR (1987).

RESULTADOS En el presente estudio han sido capturadas un total de 2493 larvas de efemerópteros, 655 adultos de plecópteros y 13 exuvias. En total representan 14 familias, 22 géneros, 39 especies y 3 subespecies. A continuación se presenta el inventario de especies y subespecies estudiadas, señalando el material y las estaciones (numeración entre paréntesis correspondiente en el Apéndice 1) donde se han realizado las capturas, e indicando la fecha y el número de ejemplares. Se ha utilizado la siguiente clave: larvas macho (LcfcT), larvas hembra (L99), machos (efe?)» hembras (99) y exuvias (E). Actualmente las larvas de H. eldae y H. consiglioi no se pueden distinguir (JACOB & SARTORI, 1984). No obstante, el hecho de que H. consigtioi Biancheri, 1959 presenta una distribución restringida a la isla de Cerdeña nos permite afirmar con elevada probabilidad de acierto que los ejemplares capturados pertenecen a H. eldae.
