Las moquetas de fieltro punzonado para los automóviles tienen que poder conformarse térmicamente. Los LAITEX NT- y LAICON NT- confieren al fieltro punzonado resistencia al desgaste, y además, permiten el conformado tridimensional a temperaturas superiores a 130ºC, garantizando a la vez la necesaria estabilidad dimensional del artículo a las altas temperaturas que reinan en los meses de verano.

Needle-felt carpets for cars must be thermally conformable. The LAITEX NTand LAICON NT- confer resistance to wear on the needle-felt, and moreover, they allow the three-dimensional shaping at temperatures higher than 130ºC, guaranteeing at the same time the necessary dimensional stability of the product in the high temperatures of the summer months.

Calzado La industria del calzado es indirectamente un gran consumidor de látex. Estos se precisan en la fabricación de plantillas, punteras y contrafuertes, forros, correas, piezas moldeadas de espuma e incluso para los empeines y las palas. Las plantillas en su mayor parte, se componen de celulosa compactada con látex, fieltro punzonado e impregnado con látex o material de fibra de cuero. Estos materiales, a base de fibras sintéticas, se distinguen por su alta resistencia a la abrasión y, sobre todo, por su excelente resistencia mecánica incluso en mojado.

Footwear The footwear industry is indirectly a large consumer of latex. The latter are needed to manufacture insoles, toe-caps and heel reinforcements, linings, straps, foammoulded pieces and even for the insteps and the fronts. The insoles on the whole consist of cellulose compacted with latex, needle-felt and saturated with latex or leather fibre material. These materials, consisting of synthetic fibres, differ in their high resistance to abrasion, and especially, in their excellent mechanical resistance even when they are wet.

Textil Textil En la industria textil, se emplean grandes cantidades de látex para el apresto de los tejidos por el envés. Los látex LAICRIL T-, LAIVIL T-, LAICON AD-, LAICON RI-, LAICON CF- de LAIEX, se usan para estabilizar el pelo de los tejidos y géneros de punto afelpados o aterciopelados. Aplicados como ligantes para napas, telas no tejidas, doblado o “bonding”, flocados, imitaciones de piel, telas de esmeril, telas para tapizados, fieltros, guatas, bayetas, artículos higiénicos, estampación y artículos decorativos. Los látex de LAIEX estabilizan la forma y contribuyen al confort de las prendas de vestir.

En la industria de alfombras, los látex LAITEX N-, LAICON RD-, y LAICON RB- de LAIEX, estabilizan los hilos de los pelos y fijan los bucles en el substrato de la alfombra, a la vez que confieren a la moqueta (espumado sobre el envés de esta), elasticidad y efecto amortiguador del ruido de las pisadas. La serie de látex LAITEX N-, y LAITEX NT-, se utilizan también en las moquetas de fieltro punzonado para viviendas y como material de revestimiento en la industria del automóvil; según el tipo de látex aplicado se obtiene una consistencia desde blanda hasta rígida. Igualmente se usa como apresto del envés de las alfombras tejidas para fijar la ligazón entre la trama y la urdimbre. En las alfombras de terciopelo surgen problemas de carga electrostática, porque en estas los hilos de los pelos cortados pierden su función conductora. Esta función es cumplida por los acabados de látex compuestos de la amplia gama de LAICON R- de LAIEX.

Textile In the textile industry, large quantities of latex are used in order to give more stiffness to the fabrics on the inside. The latex LAICRIL T-, LAIVIL T-, LAICON AD-, LAICON RI-, LAICON CF- by LAIEX, are used to stabilise the fluffing on towelling or velvety fabrics and knitwear. They are applied as binders for suede, non-woven cloths, bonding, flocking, imitation leather, esmeryl fabrics, fabrics for upholstery, felts, padding, cloths, hygienic articles, print and decorative articles. LAIEX latexes stabilise the shape and contribute to the comfort in clothing items. In the carpet industry, the latexes LAITEX N-, LAICON RD-, and LAICON RB- by LAIEX, stabilise the threads from fluffing and fix the loops in the substrate of the carpet, providing the carpet (foamed on the underside of it) with elasticity and at the same time a muffling effect for the noise of footsteps. The latex series LAITEX N-, and LAITEX NT-, are also used in needle-felt carpets for houses and as covering material in the automotive industry; depending on the type of latex applied the consistency obtained may vary from soft to stiff. Equally they are used to provide stiffness to the wrong side of the woven carpets in order to fix the link between the fabric and the threads. There are problems of electrostatic charge in the velvet carpets, due to the fact that the threads of the cut fluff in them lose their conductive function. This function is fulfilled by the latex compounds in the wide range of LAICON R- by LAIEX.

Curtidos El cuero artificial de napa, sirve para la fabricación de los forros, las tiras o correas y los empeines (palas) de los zapatos. Para alcanzar una fijación perfecta y homogénea del sustrato de fibras, esta se impregna con el látex aplicado como mezcla termosensible; de este modo se evita la migración del ligante y la formación de una película continua de polímero en la napa de fibras, garantizando una distribución uniforme del ligante, permeabilidad al aire, flexibilidad y una cierta estabilidad a los disolventes y plastificantes. LAIEX comercializa sus productos con el nombre de LAITEX L-, y LAICRIL L-.

Tannery The artificial suede leather, is used for the manufacture of linings, strips or straps and the insteps (fronts) of the shoes. In order to achieve a perfect and homogeneous fixation of the fibre substrate, it is saturated with the latex applied as a thermo-sensitive mixture; in this way the migration of the binder and the formation of a continuous thin coat of polymer in the suede of fibres are avoided, guaranteeing an even distribution of the binder, permeability to air, flexibility and some stability to solvents and plastifying agents. LAIEX markets their products under the name of LAITEX L-, and LAICRIL L-.

Incorporando al betún látex LAITEX B-, se obtienen emulsiones bituminosas capaces de aislar la humedad tanto a flor de tierra, como en techos planos, azoteas de hormigón o usados como masillas; dotando a estos recubrimientos impermeables de flexibilidad hasta temperaturas de –20ºC o reblandecimientos a temperaturas superiores a 100 ºC.

Asphalts In road building, the advantages offered by latex LAITEX B- by LAIEX, consisting of the bitumen elastification and its improvement of high and low temperatures of the same, increase the general properties of warm bitumen for seep asphalt coverings; as well as the characteristics of the cationic bituminous emulsions used for superficial treatment of streets and roads. Incorporating latex LAITEX B- in the bitumen, bituminous emulsions are obtained, capable of isolating damp both at ground level and on flat roofs, concrete roofs or used as cements; providing these waterproof coverings with flexibility until temperatures of –20ºC or softening at temperatures higher than 100ºC.

En la construcción de carreteras, las ventajas que ofrecen los látex LAITEX B- de LAIEX, de elastificación del betún y mejoramiento de altas y bajas temperaturas de este, hacen que aumenten las propiedades generales del betún caliente para las cubiertas de asfalto colado; así como las características de las emulsiones bituminosas catiónicas que se utilizan para el tratamiento superficial de las calles y carreteras.

Construcción Para el sector de la construcción, LAIEX ha desarrollado emulsiones acrílicas, vinílicas y de estireno-butadieno, para cada tipo específico de aplicación. Nuestros productos LAICRIL C-, LAIVIL C- y LAITEX C-, están destinados a mejorar las propiedades mecánicas de las mezclas cementosas, puentes de adherencia entre hormigón nuevo y hormigón viejo, reforzamiento de soleras, realización de pavimentos impresos e impermeabilizaciones de paramentos verticales y horizontales.

Paints LAIEX´s interest in the innovation in the technology of water emulsion polymerisation has led them to develop a complete range of acrylic latex LAICRIL P-, and vinyl ones LAIVIL P-, for the formulation of interior paints, façade coverings, renderings, fixatives and waterproofing agents. Autoadhesivos Los LAITAC PS- son productos de “pegajosidad” permanente, que se adhieren tenazmente sobre una superficie al ejercer sobre ellos una ligera presión. Pueden ser aplicados directamente sobre los soportes insensibles al agua, o por transferencia. Tacking, plasticidad, cohesión, adhesión, elasticidad y buen envejecimiento, son las condiciones que reúnen los LAITAC PS- de LAIEX, enriqueciendo las propiedades de los substratos pegados. Self-adhesive substances The LAITAC PS- are products with permanent “stickiness”, which strongly adhere to a surface when exerting a light pressure on them. They may be directed applied on the supports insensitive to water, or through transfer. Tacking, plasticity, cohesion, adhesion, elasticity and good ageing, are the conditions that the LAITAC PSby LAIEX has, enriching the properties of the glued substrates. Los tipos LAITEX A-, LAICRIL A y LAIVIL A-, se prestan particularmente como materias primas para adhesivos en dispersión o disolución de polímeros en agua, capaces de unir substratos por adhesión y cohesión sin modificar ni la estructura ni la superficie de los mismos, mejorando las propiedades de los materiales o permitiendo una combinación de las propiedades de los distintos componentes.

The types LAITEX A-, LAICRIL A and LAIVIL A- are particularly good as raw materials for adhesive substances in dispersion or solution of polymers in water, capable of joining substrates by adhesion and cohesion without modifying neither the structure nor the surface of them, improving the properties of the materials or allowing a combination of the properties of the different components.
