“A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.” Is 42:3 Dear brethren in Christ: We thank God for the privilege He has given us to serve Him. We are also thankful to you for your faithful prayers and offerings. These weeks have been very busy. I want to tell you that: Personal evangelism: We went out soul-winning with most of the churches we have visited. Also while we were in a conference of the Iglesia Bautista Jesús es la Roca pastored by Brother Daniel Delgado in Pachuca, Hidalgo, we were able to do some soul-winning in the Jewish community of Venta Prieta. Eleven brothers of the church accompanied us including the pastor and his family. Also Sister Maricarmen González accompanied my wife. Dozens of tracts were given out with the gospel in the Old Testament to the Jews who had just come out of the synagogue from the Shabbat service. My wife and Sister Maricarmen knocked on the door of the house across the street from the synagogue. A Jewish man, Asurim, answered and talked with them. He said that when he visited Israel, he trained as a rabbi, but being in the religious system disillusioned him to see the Jews themselves believing different things and the hat that they professed for each other. So he left his studies. He also told them that he had been considering the Person of Jesus. He listened to them with great attention. He didn't make a decision, but the pastor will be visiting him to continue speaking with him. Some days later my wife had to trael to California and there she went out visiting in the Jewish community of Los Angeles. Sister Sara Esquivel and her children went with her. They passed out dozens of tracts in the neighborhood as well as speaking with several Jews in the Street. My sons also have been out soul-winning and have been able to speak with 124 persons in these past weeks. Of those, eighty three have received Christ as personal Savior. For my part, I had the privilege of preaching the gospel by radio in THE SALVATION HOUR, a program directed by Brother Jonathan Ashcraft in Monterrey. 23 persons called in to say that they had received Jesus as Savior. In other ministries doing street work, I have been able to lead 67 persons to the feet of Christ. One of these in Teloloapan, Guerrero, is named Roberto, 53 years old. He has attended several different churches for 29 years, but had neer received Jesus as personal Savior. He came to the church. When I spoke of his need to be baptized, he wanted to take that step. The paster told us he would be baptized the following week. Missionary Conferences: I called several pastors in Gómez Palacio and Torreón who had never had a missions conference. They support missions locally, and God has greatly used them to start churhes in the ranchos close to them. But they did not have a clear world vision of the work. So I suggested that we hold a missions conference in each of their churches. They accepted and God blessed in a wonderful way. We began with the Iglesia Bautista Hechos of Francisco I. Madero, Coahuila. This church has existed for only a few years and has some 48 members. They took their first Faith Promise and have promised to give 29,350 pesos this year for missions. This church reminded me of the church at Macedonia in the Bible where the brethren gave from their great poverty, because these brethren live in a community of great poverty. In the Iglesia Bautista Fundamental of Gómez Palacio we also took a Faith Promise, and they proised more tan 120,000 pesos for the year. In that conference Brothers Jorge Rocha, Edgar Acosta and Cristian Mendoza also preached. In the Iglesia Bautista Por Gracia pastored by Brother Ortiz, the church took its first Faith Promise of 57,890 pesos for this year. That church meets in the Street outside a tiny little house. They do not have walls or roof. There are 46 members in the church. But they are excited about supporting the Work of World Missions. In the Iglesia Bautista Nueva Jerusalén in Matamoros, Coahuila, the church promised this year more than 28,800 pesos for foreign missions. Later in Zapopan, Jalisco, I preached the first missions conference for the church pastored by Brother Alex Galaviz. The church already supports four missionaries and has voted to support four more beginning this month. In these conferences, God has called out more brothers to be full-time workers. In all those have been 78, of which 46 have surrendered to serve among the Jews. Glory to God! Jewish Missions Seminar: The Jewish work is not a racial thing, nor is it exclusive. It is a Biblical mandate. The Great Commission given to the church is comprehensive: "… to all the world" and "…to every creature". But the Jewish people are specifically mentioned in Romans 1:16. No other people is mentioned specifically in the Bible. So Biblically we must take the gospel to all the world (Mt 28:16-20) to the Jew first (Romans 1:16). Those of us who work with the Jews do not just give the gospel exclusively to the Jews. In fact. of the more than 200 persons my family has seen saved during these past two months NOT ONE HAS BEEN JEWISH. (We have witnessed to Jews, we have left literature, and we have left open doors where local pastors will continue to witness to Jews,) But the work with Jewish people requires different tools for giving the gospel. For that reason we held a Seminar of Jewish Missions in Monterrey in the Iglesia Bautista Monte Hebrón, which is our sending church. We had 19 sessions of training and thanks be to God several brethren have decided to work with the Jews, in their own cities as well as in the foreign field. I ask that you pray for them please.

The Church in Tel Aviv: God has cared for that church and it gives me great joy to know that they have been faithful to the Lord. The church celebrated its fifth anniversary and God blessed them. There were two persons baptized. Brother Hugo Rebollar who was acting pastor has had to return to Mexico for his wedding, and the church has called Brother Moses Olaoluwa as pastor. He is Nigerian, a graduate of the By Grace Baptist Bible Institute. I have spoken with him and the church is excited about this new step. I ask that you continue to pray for these brothers in Israel. Citizenship status: Thank you for praying about this and for taking off of your web-pages, blogs, Facebook, etc., all reference to us as missionaries. We are still in process. We must now wait until November when we will have a meeting with an Israeili government representative in the USA. Please pray for this meeting. The answer that the Ministry of Interior will give us depends greatly on it. Prayer requests: 1. For our Israeli citizenship process. 2. Salvation for Eli, Migdal, Levi and Salomon, Jesus Pimienta, Adan Gutenberger. Asurim. 3. For the church in Israel. 4. For those three families that will leave the church in Tel Aviv to plant churches in their native countries: The Win Theins to Burma, Moses and Mercy to Nigeria, Pascal and Cleodine to the Ivory Coast. 5. God's protection in these final days of our travels. 6. For Brother Win Thein and his wife who leave for the mission field in Burma in July, sent out by our church in Tel Aviv. 7. For the Jewish Missions Seminars. 8. For the health of my friend Aaron Alderman who has been diagnosed with cáncer and continues under treatment.

Estimados hermanos en Cristo: Estamos agradecidos con Dios por el privilegio que El nos da de servirle. Igualmente les agradecemos a ustedes por sus oraciones y fiel apoyo. Estas semanas han sido de mucho trabajo. Les informamos que: Evangelismo personal: Hemos salido a ganar almas con la mayoría de Iglesias en las que hemos estado. Además de esto, mientras estábamos en la conferencia de la Iglesia Bautista Jesús es la Roca que pastorea el hermano Daniel Delgado en Pachuca, Hidalgo, pudimos salir a ganar almas en la comunidad judía en Venta Prieta. Once hermanos de la Iglesia nos acompañaron incluyendo al pastor y su familia. También la hermana Maricarmen González acompaño a mi esposa. Se repartieron docenas de tratados con el evangelio en el Antiguo Testamento a los judíos que recién salían de la sinagoga del servicio matutino del Shabat. Mi esposa y la hermana Maricarmen tocaron la puerta de la casa que está cruzando la calle frente a la sinagoga. Un hombre judío, Asurim, les recibió y platicó con ellas. Él dijo que cuando visitó Israel, se internó para ser rabino, pero que al estar dentro del sistema religioso se decepcionó de ver la división entre los mismos judíos creyendo diferentes cosas y el odio que se profesan entre ellos. De manera que abandono sus estudios. Les dijo también que estaba considerando a la Persona de Jesús. Por lo tanto les escuchó con atención. No quiso hacer ninguna decisión por Cristo, pero el pastor le estará visitando para seguir hablando con él. Unos días después mi esposa tuvo que viajar a California y salió para visitar la comunidad judía en Los Ángeles. Le acompañó la hermana Sara Esquivel y sus hijos. Pudieron repartir docenas de tratados con el evangelio además de platicar con varios judíos en la calle. Mis hijos también han ganado almas y por la gracia de Dios han podido hablar con 124 personas en estas pasadas semanas. De estos ochenta y tres han recibido a Cristo como su Salvador personal. De mi parte tuve el privilegio de predicar el evangelio por el radio en LA HORA DE LA SALVACION, programa que dirige el hermano Jonathan Aschraft en Monterrey. 23 personas llamaron diciendo que habían recibido a Jesús como Salvador. En otros ministerios saliendo a ganar almas por la calles he podido guiar a los pies de Cristo a sesenta y siete personas. Uno de ellos en Teloloapan, Guerrero. El se llama Roberto, tiene 53 años de edad. Él ha asistido a diferentes iglesias por 29 años pero nunca había recibido a Jesús como Salvador personal. Vino a la Iglesia. Quiso bautizarse luego de que le hablé que tenía que obedecer en este paso. El pastor nos dijo que la siguiente semana le bautizaría. Conferencias misioneras: Llame a varios pastores en Gómez Palacio y Torreón quienes nunca han tenido una conferencia misionera. Ellos apoyan a misiones locales y Dios les ha usado grandemente para comenzar iglesia en las rancherías alrededor de ellos. Pero no tenían una clara visión mundial por la Obra. Así que les sugerí que realizáramos una conferencia de misiones en cada una de sus iglesias; ellos aceptaron y Dios bendijo grandemente. Comenzamos con la Iglesia Bautista Hechos de Francisco I. Esta iglesia que tiene unos pocos años de existencia y con alrededor de 48 miembros tuvieron su primera promesa de fe y han prometido dar para la obra misionera para este 2012 la cantidad de $ 29,350 pesos. Esta iglesia me recordó a alguna Iglesia de Macedonia de los días Bíblicos ya que los hermanos viven en gran pobreza en su comunidad. En la Iglesia Bautista Fundamental de Gómez Palacio tomamos también la Promesa de Fe y ellos prometieron más de $ 120,000 pesos para Misiones para este 2012. En esta conferencia estuvo predicando también el hermano Jorge Rocha, Edgar Acosta y Cristian Mendoza. En la Iglesia Bautista por Gracia que pastorea el Hermano Ortiz, la iglesia tomo su primera promesa de fe por $57,890 pesos para este año. Esta iglesia se reúne en la calle a las afueras de una pequeña casita. No tienen techo ni muros. Son 46 miembros de la Iglesia. Pero han sido animados a apoyar la Obra Misionera Mundial. En la Iglesia Bautista Nueva Jerusalén en Matamoros, Coahuila, la iglesia prometió para este año un poco más de $28,800 pesos para misiones al extranjero. Luego en Zapopan, Jalisco, prediqué la primera conferencia misionera de la Iglesia pastoreada por el Hermano Alex Galaviz. La iglesia ya apoya a 4 misioneros, y se han comprometido a apoyar a 4 más desde este mismo mes. En estas conferencias Dios ha llamado también a más hermanos para ser obreros de tiempo completo. En total han sido setenta y ocho, de los cuales cuarenta y seis se han rendido para servir entre los judíos. Gloria a Dios! Seminario de misiones a los Judíos: La Obra a los judíos, no es un asunto racial, ni excluyente, ni exclusivo. Es un Mandato Bíblico. La gran Comisión dada a la Iglesia es de carácter mundial; “…a todas las naciones” y “…a cada creatura.” Pero el pueblo judío es mencionado específicamente en Romanos 1:16. No hay ningún otro pueblo en la Biblia mencionado específicamente. Así que Bíblicamente debemos llevar el evangelio a todo el mundo Mt 28:16-20; al judío primeramente Romanos 1:16. Quienes trabajamos entre los judíos no lo hacemos dando el evangelio a los judíos exclusivamente. De hecho de las más de doscientas personas que hemos tenido salvas como familia en estos 2 meses pasados NI UNO SOLO HA SIDO JUDIO. (Les hemos testificado a judíos, les hemos dejado literatura, hemos abierto algunos hogares para que pastores locales les den seguimiento). Pero el trabajo con judíos requiere de herramientas distintas para lograr la entrega del evangelio a los judíos. Por esta razón celebramos un seminario de misiones a los judíos en Monterrey, en la Iglesia Bautista Monte Hebrón, que es nuestra Iglesia enviadora. Tuvimos 19 sesiones de entrenamiento y gracias a Dios varios hermanos han decidido trabajar con judíos, tanto en sus ciudades como en el campo extranjero. Les suplico que oren por ellos.

La Iglesia en Tel Aviv: Dios ha cuidado de ellos y me da mucho gozo saber que han sido fieles al Señor. La iglesia ha celebrado su quinto aniversario y Dios les bendijo. Tuvieron 2 personas bautizadas. El Hermano Hugo Rebollar que estaba pastoreándoles ha tenido que regresar a México por motivo de su boda y la iglesia llamó al hermano Moses Olaoluwa para que les pastoreara. El es Nigeriano, graduado del Instituto Bíblico de nuestra iglesia. He hablado con él y la iglesia está muy animada. Les suplico que sigan orando por estos hermanos allá en Israel. Estatus de ciudadanía: Gracias por orar por este asunto y por remover de sus páginas web, blogs, facebook etc. cualquier referencia a nosotros como misioneros. Aun estamos en trámite. Tenemos que esperar hasta Noviembre cuando tendremos una reunión con un representante del gobierno de Israel en USA. Por favor oren por esta reunión. De ella dependerá mucho la respuesta que el ministerio del interior nos dé. Peticiones de oración: 1. Por el trámite de nuestra ciudadanía Israelí. 2.
