REGISTRATION RULES FOR FICEE 6th Festival Internacional de Cine Educativo y Espiritual de Ciudad Rodrigo (International Educative and Spiritual Film Festival of Ciudad Rodrigo) REGULATIONS 2016 1.- FICEE 6th - International Educative and Spiritual Film Festival of Ciudad Rodrigo aims to broadcast artistic category movies with educational, spiritual and value messages. FICEE V also contains the promotion and development of activities towards the creation of audiovisual products of educational, spiritual and value character, as the promotion and formation of technique and artistic professionals in production and distribution of value audiovisual products. FICEE 6th Edition will be held from November 4th to November 12th, 2016 2.- SECTIONS are established in the following parts: Α. OFFICIAL SECTION This section includes full-length films and short films in forms of fiction, documentary or animation produced after January 1st, 2014 from any nationality. FICEE 6th Edition will admit commercially already exhibited films and already broadcasted films in other festivals. Β. IBERIAN FILMS SECTION This section includes Portuguese full-length films and short films or co-productions between Portugal and Spain produced after January 1st, 2014. The film must be within the framework of the Festival. FICEE 6th Edition will admit in this section commercially already exhibited films and already broadcasted in any other festivals. 3.-VERSIONS All the films participating in the different sections will be showed in O.V. and those which are not in Spanish must show Spanish subtitles including the selection copies.

4.- REGISTRATION AND DOCUMENTATION FORMS The registration form must be completed on the FICEE website (www.ficee.es) before May 31st 2016.. It includes all the different categories. Also, the registration form must be sent to the FICEE office before the date given above with the following documentation: • Uncut copy of the definitive version in DVD PAL ZONE 2 format with Spanish subtitles just in case the original version has been recorded in another language. • The registration form filled out and signed. • 3 pictures from the film in digital format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. • A short storyline from the film. (Maximum 8 lines) • Bio-filmography of the director. A properly filled registration form be needed to be selected in anyone of the different competitive sections from the Festival. All the requirements must be sent in on time, otherwise films could be excluded from the selection process. Similarly, films can be submitted through UPTOFEST , CLICKFORFESTIVALS platforms before May 31st, 2016.

DVD's sent for pre-selection will not be returned unless requested specifically within one month from the date of completion of the Festival. Shipping charges will not be paid in any case by the FICEE Organization. Films will be adjusted to the following clauses: a) For the selection process: A DVD, a technical-artistic file, pictures from the film and director and finally the presentation of the Original Registration Form properly filled out and signed must be sent before May 31st, 2016. b) Once the film has been selected: A Film copy for projection, posters or affiches and advertising material, extracts from the film in DVD for promotion and the title of the film, length, format and value of the copy must be sent before October 13th, 2016 to: KINEMA SIETE, FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE EDUCATIVO Y ESPIRITUAL DE CIUDAD RODRIGO C/ Domínguez Bordona nº6 37500, Ciudad Rodrigo (SALAMANCA)-ESPAÑA Also the delivery of information (title of the film, number of reels, sending data, shipping way, flight number and/or air waybill number) must be sent via e-mail ([email protected]). c) Languages and subtitles. Films which O.V. is not in Spanish will have Spanish subtitles. d) Shipping charges from the films taking part in the different competitive sections, Official Section and Iberian Section, from the place of issue and vice versa shall be paid by the participant. The Festival will not pay shipping charges for other materials (posters, pictures, etc.). e) Copies will be returned with previous request, once the Festival finishes, to the communicated address within the Registration Form unless the owner of the copy had given different written explanations before the projection date. 5.- JURY AND AWARDS A. JUDGES Festival Direction will designate the judges from the different competitive sections, whose decisions are not subject to appeal and will not have to be justified. A.C. Members from the different categories could award a maximum of four prizes to the same film. Judges could award, along with the official awards, special mentions to the different sections. Awards from all the categories could be declared void if considered by the jury. An Audience Award, in every category in which the prize is awarded, will be given to the best graded film in function of the votes of the audience. For this, will be necessary to obtain an amount of votes superior to the minimum established for each of the sections. FICEE Direction could be present, with opinion but without vote, in deliberations and communications from the different judges. B. AWARDS 1. 2. IBERIAN FILMS SECTION An International Jury compound by professionals from cinema and culture sectors will give the following award: - Iberian Cinema Best Film Award Prizes are to be collected only by the person, Production Company or Distribution Company awarded. 6.- SCHEDULE, FILM RIGHTS AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL Festival Organization decides the order and date of exhibition. During the Festival, the Organization reserves the right to exhibit the selected films in every public section considered appropriate. In this respect production companies will assign the exhibition rights of the films for public exhibition without any charge. Movies will be part of the film-library of the Festival with the Production Company’s consent and may be intended for audiovisual broadcasting without profit. In any case, Festival Organization will inform to the producers about the use made of these copies and this character will always be cultural and non-profit. Producers and directors participating in the Fifth Edition of FICEE authorize, in presenting the registration form, the use of one or more fragments of the film for broadcast as informative materials in any media. 7.- ADDITIONAL DISPOSITIONS Once the selection of a film by the Festival is chosen for any of the different sections the film may not be withdrawn from the Festival. These conditions of participation may be complemented or modified prior to the start date of the Fifth Edition of FICEE and after notifying the parties concerned, with few other attachments the Organization deems appropriate. The registration of a film in Fifth Edition of FICEE competition implies full acceptance and compliance with these participation rules and their annexes. The interpretation of them will be exclusive competence of the Festival. If in doubt, the Spanish version of the present Regulation is decisive. A.C. 8.- KEY DATES Α. For selection process: From January 25th, 2016 until May 31st, 2016: - DVD-PAL ZONE 2 Film - Download link for the movie or watch it online - Artistic and technical dossier - Registration form (completed and signed) - Pictures in digital format from the film and director. Β. Once the film has been selected: before October 13th, 2016: - One projection copy with Spanish subtitles (if the O.V. is not in Spanish) in any of the following formats: *35mm *Blue-Ray Disc *DVD-PAL ZONE 2 *H264 - Posters and material for advertising.

BASES DE INSCRIPCIÓN 6º FICEE Festival Internacional de Cine Educativo y Espiritual de Ciudad Rodrigo

REGLAMENTO 2016 1.-EL 6º FICEE - Festival Internacional de Cine Educativo y Espiritual de Ciudad Rodrigo, tiene como objetivo la difusión de películas de categoría artística con mensaje educativo, espiritual y de valores; La promoción y desarrollo de actividades encaminadas a la creación de productos audiovisuales de carácter educativo, espiritual y de valores así como la promoción y formación de profesionales técnicos y artísticos en la producción y distribución de productos audiovisuales de valores. La Sexta Edición del FICEE se celebrará del 4 al 12 de Noviembre de 2016 2.- SECCIONES Se establecen las secciones siguientes: A. SECCIÓN OFICIAL Podrán concurrir largometrajes y cortometrajes en las modalidades de ficción, documental o animación producidas después del 1 de enero de 2014 de cualquier nacionalidad. La 6ª Edición del FICEE admitirá en la Sección Oficial películas que hayan sido exhibidas comercialmente o hayan sido presentadas en cualquier otro festival. B. SECCIÓN CINE IBÉRICO Podrán concurrir largometrajes y cortometrajes de producción Portuguesa o coproducción Hispano-Lusa con fecha posterior de producción al 1 de Enero de 2014 y que estén dentro del marco del Festival. La 6ª Edición del FICEE admitirá en la competición de la Sección Cine Ibérico aquellas películas que hayan sido exhibidas comercialmente o hayan sido presentadas en cualquier otro festival. 3.- VERSIONES Todas las películas participantes en las distintas secciones se presentarán en versión original y aquellas cuya lengua original no sea el castellano DEBERÁ INCLUIR SUBTÍTULOS EN CASTELLANO, INCLUSO PARA LAS COPIAS DE SELECCIÓN.

4.- INSCRIPCIONES Y DOCUMENTACIÓN Los formularios de Inscripción deberán ser cumplimentados a través de la página web del festival (www.ficee.es) con anterioridad al 31 de mayo de 2016 en todas las categorías. Asimismo, deberá remitirse a las oficinas del Festival con anterioridad a la fecha indicada la siguiente documentación: • Copia íntegra de la película en su versión definitiva en soporte DVD PAL ZONA 2, o enlace de descarga de la película en formato digital con subtítulos en español en el caso que su lengua original no sea este idioma. • Boletín de inscripción debidamente cumplimentado y firmado • Tres fotografías en soporte digital con una resolución mínima de 300 dpi de escenas de la película. • Sinopsis de la película (máximo 8 líneas). • Bio-filmografía del director. Es necesario y obligatorio para poder ser seleccionado en cualquiera de las secciones competitivas del Festival, que se completen todos los campos del formulario de inscripción y que se entregue en los plazos establecidos la documentación requerida en los puntos anteriores. En caso contrario, las películas podrán ser excluidas del proceso de selección. Del mismo modo, podrán inscribirse a través de las plataformas UPTOFEST , FESTHOME o CLICKFORFESTIVALS con anterioridad al 31 de mayo de 2016. Las películas que opten a la selección tendrán las siguientes modalidades de envío: A- Online, mediante enlace de descarga o visionado para todas aquellas que se hayan inscrito a través de las plataformas UPTOFEST , FESTHOME , CLICKFORFESTIVALS o directamente a través de la web del Festival www.ficee.es

Los DVD’s enviados para la preselección no serán devueltos a menos que se solicite expresamente en el plazo de un mes a partir de la fecha de finalización del Festival. LOS GASTOS DE ENVÍO Y DEVOLUCIÓN NO CORRERÁN EN NINGÚN CASO A CUENTA DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN DEL FICEE. Las películas, deberán ajustarse a las clausulas siguientes: a) Para selección, remitir antes del 31 de Mayo de 2016: Archivo, DVD, o Bluray, ficha Técnico-Artística, Fotografías de película y director. Es obligatoria la presentación del original del BOLETÍN DE INSCRIPCIÓN, debidamente cumplimentado y firmado. b) Una vez seleccionadas, remitir antes del 13 de Octubre de 2016: Copia de proyección, Posters o Affiches y material publicitario, así como extractos de la película en DVD para promoción. Indicando claramente título del film, duración, metraje, formato y valor de la copia a: KINEMA SIETE, FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE EDUCATIVO Y ESPIRITUAL DE CIUDAD RODRIGO C/ Domínguez Bordona nº 6 37500, Ciudad Rodrigo (SALAMANCA)-ESPAÑA Asimismo deberán enviar por correo electrónico ([email protected]) los datos del envío (título, nº de bobinas, fecha de despacho, forma de envío, nº de vuelo y/o nº de conocimiento aéreo). En el caso de que la película nos la hagan llegar en formato digital deberán facilitarnos el enlace de descarga de la película en el formato de mayor calidad posible, preferiblemente en H264. c) Idiomas y subtítulos. Las películas cuya VO no sea el español deberán ir subtituladas en dicho idioma d) Los gastos de envío de las películas participantes en las secciones competitivas, Sección Oficial y Cine Ibérico, desde el lugar de expedición y viceversa, correrán a cargo de los inscriptores. El Festival nunca se hará cargo de los gastos derivados del envío de otros materiales (posters, fotografías, etc.). e) Las copias se remitirán si previamente se ha solicitado, una vez finalizado el Festival, a la dirección comunicada en el apartado correspondiente de la hoja de inscripción a menos que el propietario de la copia dé otras indicaciones por escrito antes de la fecha de proyección de su película.

5.- JURADOS Y PREMIOS JURADOS La Dirección del Festival designará a los jurados de las diferentes secciones a competición, cuyas decisiones serán inapelables y no deberán ser justificadas. Los miembros de las distintas categorías podrán conceder como máximo cuatro premios a una misma película. Los jurados podrán conceder junto con los premios oficiales menciones especiales en cada uno de los apartados. Los premios de todas las categorías podrán declararse desiertos si así lo considera el jurado. El Premio del Público, en todas las categorías en que se otorgue, se concederá a la película que obtenga una mayor puntuación promediada en función de los votos emitidos, siempre y cuando el número de votantes sea superior al mínimo que se establezca para cada una de las secciones. La Dirección del FICEE podrá estar presente, con voz pero sin voto, en las deliberaciones y comunicaciones de los distintos jurados. PREMIOS A. SECCIÓN OFICIAL Un Jurado Internacional, formado por profesionales del sector cinematográfico y de la cultura, otorgará los siguientes premios: - Premio 7Tau al Mejor Largometraje - Premio 7Tau al Mejor Cortometraje - Premio 7Tau al Mejor Documental - Premio 7Tau a la Mejor Película de Animación - Premio 7Tau al Mejor Director - Premio Especial Denis Rafter - Premio Especial del Público

B. SECCIÓN CINE IBÉRICO Un Jurado Internacional, formado por profesionales del sector cinematográfico y de la cultura, otorgará el siguiente premio: - Premio a La Mejor Película de Cine Ibérico Los premios deberán ser recogidos obligatoriamente por la persona, productora o distribuidora galardonada. En el caso que el premio no pueda ser recogido y siempre que lo comuniquen a la organización, se le podrá enviar por paquetería a la dirección que se indique. Los gastos de envío no correrán en ningún caso a la organización del Festival. 6.- PROGRAMACIÓN, DERECHOS DE EXHIBICIÓN Y MATERIAL DE PROMOCIÓN La Organización del Festival acordará el orden y la fecha de exhibición de cada película. Durante la celebración del Festival, la Organización se reserva el derecho de exhibir las películas seleccionadas en cuantas sesiones públicas estime conveniente. A este respecto, las productoras cederán los derechos para la exhibición pública de sus películas durante el tiempo de celebración del Festival sin coste alguno para el mismo. Las películas pasarán a formar parte de la videoteca del festival siempre que la productora dé su consentimiento y podrán ser destinadas a la difusión audiovisual sin ánimo de lucro. En cualquier caso, la organización del Festival comunicará a los productores el uso que se haga de estas copias y éste siempre será de carácter cultural y no lucrativo. Las productoras y los directores participantes en la 6ª Edición del FICEE autorizan, al presentar su formulario de inscripción, la utilización de uno o varios fragmentos de su película para su difusión como material informativo en cualquier medio de comunicación. 7.- DISPOSICIONES ADICIONALES Una vez efectuada la selección de una película por el Festival para cualquiera de las Secciones, no podrá ser retirada. Estas bases de participación podrán ser complementadas o modificadas, con anterioridad a la fecha de inicio de la 6ª Edición del FICEE y previa comunicación a las partes interesadas, con cuantos otros anexos estime oportunos la Organización. La inscripción de una película a competición de esta 6ª Edición del FICEE supone la plena aceptación y cumplimiento de las presentes Bases de Participación y de sus posibles anexos. La interpretación de las mismas será competencia exclusiva de la Dirección del Festival. En caso de duda, es decisiva la versión en español del presente Reglamento. A.C.
