The Willow Studio Welcome to your retreat. In order to help you to make the most of your stay we have gathered some useful information and If you need anything, please do not hesitate to call or text Halim on 07712 168149 or simply knock on the door. Please make sure all windows and doors are locked when you are out and at night make sure the front house door in locked.

Because we have a dog ,Pudsey , please would you ensure the gate is closed at all times as she likes to wander! She is very friendly and love cuddles but please do not let her in the studio. You can use your own private space in the front garden by the pound. Make sure you always lock the house door at night and when leaving. Wi-Fi: The Internet is not great due to where we leave. Look for: BT-G9A2PT Password: Halim1971 Drinks: Coffee, tea and water are complementary. The Sofa Bed: see instruction in this book. Please make sure to put the mattress protector under the sheet. All bedding can be found underneath the sofa bed and furniture draws. If needed, you can use the washing machine, tumble dryer and If you need an iron, please let us know. Local Pubs: The Dove: A 1 min walk from the house. A great Gastro Pub and beer garden. Tel 01227 751360 The Red Lion: Hernhill Village, a 20 min walk or 5 min drive - ME13 9TU. A beautiful village pub, with great food. Local convenient store: Co-op BP Service ME13 9EL, 2 min drive Supermarket: M&S-Aldi: CT5 3SD 5min drive Taxi: Willow (Faversham based): 01795 229006, Whistable Cars: 01227 261561, Canterbury Taxis: 01227 444444 The area: If you like walking you are in the right place. There is an abundance of walks to try. There is a nice short walk in the wood close by. From the house turn right, at the Pub turn left, then keep straight until you reach the white house on the corner where you will see the pathway into the wood. Whitstable: Famous for its oysters, a fishing and harbor town with an abundance of cafes, restaurants and shops and only 5 mins by car. Seasalter: A sand and shingle beach can be found in the village of Seasalter, only 5 mins by car. Faversham: A beautiful market town (the oldest one in Kent), is bursting with history and located on a winding creek. With an amazing array of independent shops and places of interest, if you get the time it’s worth a visit and just 5 mins away. There is often a market there on a Saturday and Shepherd Neame is worth a visit as the oldest brewery in the country. Canterbury: A cathedral city, famous for it’s stunning architecture and buildings. We recommend a leisurely boat trip down the river Stour, a tour of the cathedral and for the brave, the famous ghost tour. 10 mins by car. Ramsgate /Margate are slightly further away (c. 30 mins). They are well worth a visit as offer beautiful sandy beaches, the world-famous Dreamland (amusement park) and the Tate Modern.
