Welcome to the 2022 IAAF Annual Awards & Dinner W
elcome to the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation’s (IAAF) 2022 Annual Awards & Dinner. It is great to be back after a three-year absence brought about by the Coronavirus Pandemic, but I’m delighted that our numbers have grown, making the event one of the largest since the early 2000s. This year, a heavy emphasis for the event has been placed on celebrating the brilliance of our aftermarket. In the past three years, we have shown our resilience in overcoming adversity and emerging stronger. The aftermarket sets the benchmark for service, driven by the people that work in it. The IAAF is undergoing a massive transformation as we ensure we are in the best position possible to support our

members. Thank you for your joining us tonight, for supporting the Federation and I wish you and your family a Happy Christmas and New Year. Mark Field, IAAF Chief Executive
M
y time as IAAF President has seen numerous changes in our industry, both externally and internally. Without question, the business of selling and distributing car parts has become much tougher. But, throughout this period, I’m pleased that the IAAF has been a constant in our business, offering support throughout the pandemic and now leadership as it fights for our access to vehicle repair and maintenance information. I’m pleased to be handing over my presidency to Craig McCracken with the Federation in great shape for the future. Membership is up and IAAF has big plans designed to highlight the sector further and wider than ever before and to ensure we bring more good people into our businesses.
Richard Welland, IAAF President
Let's enjoy tonight, thank you to Alliance Automotive Group for their headline sponsorship, to all the sponsors and congratulations to all the awards nominees. Have a great evening! Richard Welland, IAAF President
