Prices are in pounds sterling per car per hire day or per package as indicated. The availability of a certain car model cannot be guaranteed. In the event that a certain car model is not available the company will substitute it with a similar or superior model. When the car is retrieved a credit card should be given to cover the deposit for expenses (e.g. excess, petrol, etc). Car hire is limited to the territory of the United Kingdom. Llegada en Edimburgo y recogerá su coche en la estación del tren Waverley en la oficina de Europcar y se dirigirá hacia el famoso Forth Road Bridge, con unas fantásticas vistas del famoso puente de Forth Rail y Firth of Forth.Se adentrara en el “Reino de Fife”. Siga la carretera de la costa hacia St Andrews, dominado por pueblos pesqueros como Elie: característico por sus playas de fina arena y casas datadas del siglo XVII. St. Morans: pueblo asentado alrededor del puerto local; su iglesia casi se encuentra dentro del mar. Pittenweem: el puerto pesquero más concurrido de la costa. Anstruther: con su museo marítimo. Crail: probablemente el pueblo más encantador, con su pequeño puerto encallado al final de las escalerillas. Una vez en St Andrews famoso por ser capital mundial del Golf, encontrara la tercera Universidad más antigua del Reino Unido después de Oxford y Cambridge. Una Vez en Pitlochry, enclavado a los pies de las montañas, encontramos hacia el Sur: Cairngorms, Blair Atholl y Dalwhinnie (el pueblo más alto de las Tierras Altas). Este es probablemente, el trecho más hermoso de la ruta; la visita a “Queens View” al final del Lago Tummel no les decepcionara. Continuaremos nuestra ruta entre montañas de áspero granito y cañadas, atravesaremos Kingussie y Kincraig hacia Aviemore, el centro turístico mas concurrido de las Tierras Altas. Opcionalmente podrás tomar el ferrocarril funicular hasta la cima de las montañas o bien disfrutar de un paseo al aire libre por Rothiemurchus. Los enamorados de los trenes podrán tomar el tren de vapor de Strathspey el cual les llevara atravesando una pintoresca ruta que se recorre entre Aviemore y Boat of Garten. permanecio cautiva durante el año mas traumatico de su vida. Aquí la obligaron abdicar antes de su dramatica fuga. - Elcho Castle – una bonita y bien preservada mansión fortificada del siglo SVI. - Huntingtower Castle – tiene dos casas-torre completas y pinturas impresionantes en el techo de la torre situada al Este.

DIA 4. INVERNESS/AVIEMORE – WHISKY TRAIL Y LA TIERRA DE MACBETH Esta zona esta llena de historia y de maravillosos paisajes. A las afueras de Inverness encontramos Culloden, donde tuvo lugar la derrota del Principe Charlie (Bonnie) la cual arruino la última esperanza de restablecimiento de los Stuart en el trono británico. Merece la pena explorar la zona costera alrededor de Findhorn con sus vastas playas, enormes tramos de arena y dunas. El pueblo de Elgin cuenta con magníficos edificios, una catedral y un castillo en ruinas el cual merece una visita antes de dirigirse hacia Craigellachie y Dufftown, corazón de la industria del Whisky en Speyside. Alojamiento y desayuno en Inverness / Aviemore Las siguientes visitas estan incluidas en su bono: - Catedral de Elgin – magnificas ruinas que datan del siglo XIII. - La Fortaleza de George- Una de las más impresionantes fortificaciones de artilleria de Europa. - Palacio de Spynie – residencia oficial de los obispos de Moray desde el siglo XIV. Vistas espectaculares. - Destilería Histórica de Dallas Dhu – construida en el 1898 para producir whisky de malta, una capsula del tiempo unica. Audio tour y la oportunidad de probar el whisky. - Huntly Castle – Esplendida arquitectura, con caracteristicas esculturas e inscripciones en piedra en los frisos.

DIA 5. INVERNESS – ISLA DE SKYE Dejando Inverness y conduciendo por las orillas del Lago Ness pasando por Drumnadrochit, Fort Augusta e Invergarry. Tengan su cámara a mano en caso de que puedan divisar al enigmático monstruo del lago Ness, Nessie. En dirección Oeste hacia el magnifico Glen Sheil, arropado por un majestuoso grupo de montañas conocido como “Las cinco hermanas de Kintail”, llegamos hasta Kyle of Lochalsh atravesando el puente que nos conducirá hasta la Isla de Skye – The “misty Isle” (la Isla mistica). Aquí tendrá la oportunidad de explorar la Isla, una de las más espectaculares de todas las Islas Británicas, con gloriosos paisajes montañosos. Aquí el tiempo pasa más despacio que en la Mainland. Alojamiento y desayuno en la Isla de Skye. La siguiente visita esta incluidas en su bono: -Castillo de Urquhart - Unas ruinas atmosféricas que miran hacia las oscuras aguas del Lago Ness, uno de los castillos más grandes de Escocia. DIA 6. ISLA DE SKYE – FORT WILLIAM Disfrute de su tiempo en la isla antes de elegir el horario de su ferry y regresar a “mainland”. El Ferry sale desde Armadale y desde allí les llevara hasta el puerto de Mallaig. La atractiva ruta desde Mallaig a Fort William ha sido denominada como “la Carretera de las Islas” la cual atraviesa los paisajes mas variados desde altas montañas, bosques y lagos. Durante un largo tramo, la carretera transcurre paralela a las vías del tren. La línea mas espectacular del paisaje en este tramo es el viaducto de Glenfinnan, el cual aparece en la famosa película de Harry Potter – por ese viaducto circulaba el tren de vapor en el que viajaba Harry Potter. El tren pasa dos veces al día por estas vías. Alojamiento y desayuno en la zona de Fort William. DIA 7. FORT WILLIAM - STILRING En dirección Sur hacia Ballachulish, uno de los mayores productores de pizarra. Comienza uno de los viajes más excitantes dentro de Escocia, pasando por Glen Coe, la mejor cañada del país; y por Buachaille Etive Mor, la montaña más imponente del país. Sea cual sea el clima, los paisajes de esta zona siempre es de gran dramatismo. Viajaremos a lo largo de “bonny banks”, las orillas del Lago Lomond, donde podrán divisar el ganado de las “Highlands”(Tierras Altas) y a través de la pequeña localidad de Luss y sus excepcionales casas parecidas a cabañas. Opcionalmente, podemos continuar hacia el sur hacia Oban a la altura de Ballachulish, o tomarnos nuestro tiempo para visitar el pequeño pueblo de Inveraray. En dirección Este llegaran a Stirling –“entrada de las Tierras Altas, con su magnifico castillo situado en lo alto de una colina sobre una roca volcánica, que fue la joya de la corona e intento ser tomado por invasores en diversas ocasiones pero los “Scots” lo defendieron hasta el final; esta es la tierra de “Braveheart”. Alojamiento y desayuno en la zona de Stirling. Las siguientes visitas estan incluidas en el bono: -Dunstafnage Castle – Fortaleza de los MacDougalls, que se convirtió en prision para Flora MacDonald en 1746. -Inchmahore Priory – situado en una isla en el lago de Menteith, este monasterio data del año 1238. El viaje en el barco esta incluido con la entrada. -Castillo de Stirling - considerado por muchos el castillo de mayor grandeza de Escocia con su arquitectura sin igual. -Castillo de Doune – Castillo de finales del siglo XIV. La esplendida sala del Duke’s Hall es la característica principal junto con la galeria de los musicos y doble chimenea.
