Dear Member, We wanted to inform you that your final direct debit payment for the month may be higher than usual due to an increase voted on at the AGM. As a 7-day member, your regular monthly direct debit is £164 (based on the full 7-day membership fee for 2022 and divided into 10 equal payments) for 10 months. However, any increase from the AGM will be added to your final bill. Please note that our billing system may not accurately reflect this increase at this time, as how the system allocates funds is causing some confusion. Example: Your invoice should show the following breakdown, but as mentioned above, it doesn't. • Subscription: £1480 • Building levy: £130 • Social levy: £150 • Golf Ireland: £20 • Gross Total: £1780 • 2% Discount: £29.60 (This discount is applied only to the subscription element and not the full invoice) • Nett Total Due: £1750.40 Therefore, your final direct debit payment will be £164 plus £140 (the increase voted on at the AGM); Total £304 minus the discount of £29.60 for a final total of £274.40 Our General Manager is aware of this issue, including how the social levy is allocated at this time of year and we are working to resolve the complete billing system for 2024, and we apologise for any confusion or inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Sincerely, Damien Diamond Finance Executive
