The light that guides night-time sailors along their routes turns the coastline of the province of Alicante into a line of flashing lights capable of evoking romantic images and acting as a guiding light for each voyage. La tradición pesquera es uno de los atractivos típicos que ha perdurado en la Costa Blanca. A las modalidades de pesca tradicionales, se unen ahora nuevas formas de practicarla como la pesca submarina o la pesca deportiva, de la que incluso se celebran habitualmente campeonatos y certámenes. Destacan también las espectaculares subastas de pescado que celebran las lonjas alicantinas, donde los visitantes pueden adquirir los productos recién pescados.
