En 1880, Marius Morel crée au coeur du Jura, berceau de la lunetterie française, sa toute première collection de lunettes. In 1880, in the heart of the Jura Mountains, the birthplace of French eyewear, Marius Morel designed his very first eyewear collection. He little imagined that his expertise and innovative spirit would generate classic designs, or that his creations would become benchmarks in the history of eyewear. Faithful to that spirit, the “1880” Collection offers you today an opportunity to rediscover the elegance of those very first designs: authentic products subtly modernised through the interplay of size and detail, and reinterpreted using today’s technologies.

Im Jahr 1880 kreierte Marius Morel im Herzen des Jura, der Wiege der französischen Brillenherstellung, seine allererste Brillenkollektion. Er hätte sich nicht träumen lassen, dass sein Know-how und Innovationsgeist zur Geburtsstunde der großen Klassiker führen sollten, die seine Kreationen zu Referenzmodellen in der Geschichte der Brillenherstellung gemacht haben.
