Safety Is Our First Priority™ Article Courtesy of YOKE® YOKE — the professional industrial lifting safety hooks manufacturer — was created in 1985 and focused primarily on trading and virtual manufacturing at the very beginning. At present, the company is devoted to independent research, development, and manufacturing and is known for its innovative technologies in the industry. In 1996, the company started its own brand, YOKE, and has been competing around the world in response to national industrial upgrading. Over the past more than 30 years — adhering to the belief in developing a “niche-based mainstream market” — the company has survived the trading period (1985 to 1990), the virtual plant period (1990 to 1996), and the manufacturing and R&D period (1997 to 2006) to reach today’s brand marketing period (2007 to present). Subsidiaries are available in mainland China at the moment, and there are about 100 distribution sites around the world. Both quality and technology are well-reputed in international society. Starting in 2009, the company has been devoted to strategic transformation and innovation. The overall development strategy emphasizes “beautiful products, fair prices, fast out, and fast in” and has rendered overwhelming operational fruit to date, securing the company’s leading position in the world of lifting chains and hooks. Our second factory was added

to the industrial park in Taichung in September 2017 to take care of mainly the assembly and production of fall-proof safety equipment and fittings for high-altitude operations. To address the growth in the number of purchase orders, existing production lines were moved to our second factory. In addition, more production lines were added so that customers’ needs may be fulfilled. Our new factory for aluminum processing at Chuansing Industrial Park in Changhua County was inaugurated in December 2018 as we completed the first phase of the project. We plan to offer more diverse products to our customers in the future. In the industry for safety hooks, all products are distributed on the basis of the safety and protection they provide. As such, YOKE has defined itself as a company that deals and sells safety. “Pursue quality perfection; constant innovation and development; sustain management improvement; and create customer satisfaction” has always been the company’s management philosophy, and we have always insisted on “quality and safety” over the years. All hooks used in lifting projects go through necessary tests as required by applicable regulations. In addition to API TS 29001, API QMS ISO 9001, and DNV ISO 9001, type approvals have been obtained for products in multiple countries at the same time, including the related product safety continued on page 17

Top 5 Ideas for a Successful Trade Show When it comes to the benefits of trade shows, the market has spoken. Every year, exhibitors spend more than $20 billion just in the United States on trade show displays. On top of that, trade shows are actually the second-largest source of all revenue for business-to-business operations in the United States! Trade shows are an incredibly fruitful avenue towards revenue. But you have to know how to make the most out of them. Follow these top 5 list ideas for making your next trade show a big success!

1. Make Your Trade Show Booth Stand Out

There is a sales funnel dynamic that occurs at trade shows. The very first contact you have with most customers will be when they glance at your display table. That is the crucial moment when they will either decide to engage further with you or else pass you by for a competitor. As a result, it is essential that you attract as many people to your trade show exhibit p as possible. Of course, that doesn't just mean being as noticeable as possible. If you want people to engage with you as a respectable business, you will need to go to attract attention and present your business in a respectable way. A well-coordinated color scheme between your display objects and your tablecloth is a good way to show that you put care into your work.

2. Have Visual Aids

A lot of people respond much more to visual appeals than to anything else. A great way to grab and keep people's attention is to have some kind of a video or slideshow running at your display. This way, they can learn a little bit about your business before having to make the decision to actually speak with you or not.

3. Promote Your Trade Show Displays Before the Event

Virtual trade shows are the one way that you can engage with prospective customers before the event. Use social media in advance of a trade show to tell people a little bit about your upcoming trade show attendance and let them know what they can expect from you when they see you there. You want people who search for "trade shows near me" to find information about your business when they find the upcoming trade show.

4. Bring Giveaways

Trade show attendees often see dozens of displays. If you want people to remember you, it helps to give them a memento of some kind that they can review after the show ends. These might include business cards, pens, or anything else that you can put your name or logo on.

5. Offer a Prize

Trade show exhibits that offer prizes are always a big hit. Have everyone sign their name on a sheet or leave a business card with you. Then at the end of the event, pick one of them at random to give away a piece of merchandise to.

Enjoy a Successful Trade Show With These Top 5 List Ideas

We hope that you were able to learn something helpful from these top 5 list ideas for your next trade show. If you are going to go to a trade show at all, then it pays off to prepare and make sure you do it the right way!

along with industrialization of crypto mining has increased the demand for all types of electrical gear, including substation and pad mount transformers; medium-voltage switchgear and low-voltage MCCs; and circuit breakers, VFDs and almost all automation devices. With the electrical and electronic manufacturers putting all their efforts in pulling out of COVID-19 shutdowns, this increased and untimely demand has ballooned lead times by as much as five times the normal delivery standard. The response to the current electrical/ electronic supply chain situation requires a comprehensive approach that includes various strategies as described below: 1. Utilize new electrical manufacturers and approval of variances to AMLs/ AVLs — Legacy manufacturers that have enjoyed continuous business for years have hit their capacity in most cases. work operations (such as welding, cutting, and grinding) can be sources of ignition that need to be contained in a safe environment. Enter the HWE. Q: Why use PetroHab? A: Since 1991, the Petro-Habitat™ HWE — often referred to as a ‘habitat’ or ‘pressurized welding enclosure’ — has been the industry leader in the provision of ATEX- and IECEX-certified pressurized HWEs and associated automatic shutdown systems that serve as the best practice for mitigating the hazards associated with hot work performed in the vicinity of potential flammables. By containing the byproducts of hot work within the nearly fireproof confines of the pressurized habitat — and continuously monitoring for loss of interior pressure and the presence of flammable gas outside/inside — sparks or molten material are far less likely to serve as ignition sources for any external flammables. Q: Why is PetroHab the habitat industry leader?

Here, we thank our partners at home and abroad who have cared about and supported the development of the company for many years, and sincerely invite old and new friends to visit our company. We will serve you wholeheartedly with first-class products and reasonable prices! For more information, please visit www.ykgj.cn/?_l=en or stop by Booth #4809.

A: Among the many reasons are: • We only use ANSI/FM 4950-certified, heavy-duty, silicone-coated fiberglass cloth (capable of withstanding up to 1,500 F/815 C) in our habitats. • Virtually fireproof military grade Kevlar thread is used in the sewing of all our panels. • Our patented Quadra-Lock™ panel interlocking technology doesn’t rely on any cumbersome and trouble-prone zippers, thereby eliminating the need for ‘A’ and ‘B’ type panels to construct our habitats. • Customers can choose between hard and soft doors and optional air-locks. • A standard 2-by-2-by-2-meter PetroHabitat HWE can be set up in as little as

fied alternate manufacturers engineers can discover new options to solve their project requirements and improve their completion time frames. 2. Increase design flexibility to accommodate for electrical manufacturers that are more readily available — In some cases alternate manufacturers have engineers available to assist customers with designs to incorporate their more available products. 3. The sharing of detailed project or product information is key to improving timelines — Sometimes sharing information is risky, but using NDAs and partnering with a trusted and reputable manufacturer’s representative firm can lower this risk. By sharing design and detailed project timelines with manufacturers and distributor channels, all the parties involved are better equipped to take calculated risks more effectively. 4. Partner with a trusted electrical distributor that is not afraid to hold inventory and is willing to utilize alternate manufacturers — Find an electrical distribu-

tor that is not married to only tier one electrical manufacturers. This can be difficult due to corporate consolidation but there are quite a few distributors in the electrical industry willing to do whatever it takes to partner for successful results. 5. Release purchase orders in a partnered approach — With increased information and transparency throughout the partnered supply chain, manufacturers can build products in subassembly setups waiting for features or modifications to be added once the design details have been approved. This risk needs to be agreed to in advance with all parties assuming responsibility for damages if they occur. 6. Communication and shared status information is critical to meeting project timelines — By maintaining consistent production updates the partnered supply chain can adjust their plan and possibly add capacity where it is needed. If ERP systems are maintained and utilized accurately, the detailed and timely

30 minutes. • All our panels are manufactured in-house in Texas, which allows us to be able to customize panels to the needs of customers whenever needed, with no additional R&D charges. Q: Does PetroHab provide any nonpressurized HWEs? A: Yes. We manufacture two nonpressurized products dubbed the Petro-Shield™ and Petro-Box™. The Petro-Box™ is designed to be a reusable, ‘pop-up,’ fourwalled enclosure to help shield hot work activities and may be purchased in both open- and closed-top variations. The PetroShield™ is specifically designed as a mobile closed-top shelter that protects welders (primarily working on pipelines) from environmental conditions such wind and rain. The sizes of both of the aforementioned products are customizable to a customer’s specifications. Q: Where are your HWEs used? A: Although the bulk of our habitats are used on offshore platforms, they are increasingly being used in refineries and industrial plants whenever the hazards of hot work are sought to be mitigated. Q: Does Petrohab lease or sell its HWEs? A: Whereas our Petro-Shield and PetroBox HWEs are most often sold to end users, our Petro-Habitats may either be leased or purchased from PetroHab. If PetroHabitats are purchased, PetroHab provides fee-based training and certification on the assembly, disassembly, operation, maintenance, and storage of purchased products. Q: How can our readers learn more about your company? A: They can learn more by visiting www. petrohab.com or stopping by Booth #11001. information can be utilized to improve planning and ensure time frames are met. 7. Determine true cost of the overall product or project — The days of only procuring the least expensive piece part is not going to be effective in today’s supply chain environment. If there are components that are required to complete a product or project timeline, paying more for these critical items but receiving them sooner will be the best solution every time. The challenges to meet product and project timelines in the oil and gas and clean energy industry are real. However, by utilizing a trusted manufacturer’s representative firm that implements a comprehensive and transparent approach with all aspects of a partnered supply chain your efforts can lead to phenomenal success. Products from the UHP pioneers are found in countless industrial sectors, for example: for cleaning heat exchangers, containers, and pipes; in the stripping and preparation of metal surfaces, ships, and storage tanks; for deburring engine blocks; or in the maintenance of bridges, roads, and other structures. At the center of all applications are high-pressure pumps and process pumps with an output of 13 to 2,150 horsepower for professional, industrial use. Depending on the technical specifications and the area of application, up to 9,000 cubic feet of fluid per hour are pumped at the peak performance. This corresponds to a volume of over 1,100 gpm. With operating pressures of up to 65.2 kpsi, high-pressure water is also used to cut reinforced concrete, metal, and other solid materials. The pumps are driven electrically or, mainly in mobile applications, by diesel engines. Various media — such as for cleaning processes in the automotive industry, alkalis, or acids in chemical processes or even methanol in petrochemistry — are handled with ease by high-pressure pumps from Hammelmann. Potential customers also work with Hammelmann to examine or develop specific solutions for their unique challenges. In

It is no secret that NRP Jones has built a reputation on its adaptability and responsiveness in meeting the diverse and individualized needs of its customers. In recent history, much of this focus and energy has been invested into our hydraulic hose product offerings, among which there are those which hold SAE, USCG, and DOD Military (MIL-H) certifications which includes the following:

17 the in-house technology center, tests can be carried out reproducibly, and thanks to complete logging and evaluation, the high-pressure experts can reliably assess whether a process is suitable and how the best results can be achieved. High-pressure technology is also becoming increasingly popular because it is environmentally friendly and minimizes thermal and physical stress. It often replaces other less clean methods such as sandblasting or jackhammers. A development from which the company benefits and which it has actively promoted for many years. Finally, the very high efficiency of the high-pressure pumps ensures that almost 100% of the energy used is converted into available power. The high-pressure pumps from Hammelmann have proven to be very energy-efficient and resource-saving. Over 400 people are employed at the headquarters in Oelde, Germany. Why Is SEO Important to Your Success?

Did you know that less than one percent of people click to the second page of Google results? A business that isn't on that crucial first page of Google results will likely get lost to time. It's even better if you're at the very top of the result page. SEO is the way to make sure you wind up on that first page and get all of the clicks you deserve. If you've found yourself asking the question — why is SEO important? — you've come to the right place. This article will walk you through why SEO digital marketing is one of the most important digital marketing tools available today.

People Look For Solutions

One important thing that SEO will teach you is that people don't look for businesses; they look for solutions. If someone wants a hamburger, they're not likely to try to brainstorm their favorite hamburger restaurants and search for them online. More likely, they're abandoning all grammar and quickly searching "cheap hamburger near me." SEO relies on keywords. To get yourself to the top of the search results page, you have to study exactly what people are trying to solve when looking for businesses like yours and scatter those words throughout your website. To do this, you have to study the language that they use. This not only brings more people to your page through SEO, but as a side-effect, you get to know your client base better. This makes it easier to appeal to them when they come through your doors.

It'll Inspire You to Redesign Your Website

If you're going to have people over to your house, you will want to make sure your house looks great. The same is true of your website. Optimizing SEO will bring a flood of potential customers onto your page. Hopefully, this will inspire you to update the design of your website. People in today's world care about aesthetics, and if your site looks like it was designed in 2002, they might not trust it. After all, 94 percent of first impressions are related to your site's web design. When you design a great website, you inspire people to come back to your website. Getting visitors to come back is one of the most important steps in turning prospects into clients.

You'll Get Ahead of Your Competitors

The world of business is such that for you to succeed, someone's going to have to start doing a little worse. When you dominate local SEO by hiring an SEO business, competitors in your area are more likely to lose business to you.

Why is SEO Important?

At the end of the day, the answer to the question — why is SEO important? — is that it's the advertising style of the future. You don't even need to directly market to people for them to come to your business. Instead, you can just put yourself in the place that they're looking.

Why You Should Allow Exhibitors To Capture Your Information Trade shows offer you a great opportunity to meet potential suppliers, network, and learn about new products. The trade show industry is worth $14.6bn in 2021. Exhibitors will be keen to get your contact information. This is because they want to follow up with interested people after the trade show. After all, there isn't time at the show to get into the 'nitty gritty'. These follow-up calls give you the space to talk properly. You might wonder if you should let every exhibitor capture your details. Read on to find out.

Plan Your Visit Before You Go

It's a good idea to research vendors ahead of time. That way, you know which companies to make time for. Use the advance trade show guide to find which trade show exhibits you want to visit. You can also plan which talks or seminars you want to attend. Keep this list of 'target' exhibits handy when you're at the trade show and prioritize visiting these exhibits first. You can browse the rest of the trade show once you've visited the displays that will be useful for you. Attending a virtual trade show? Consider making appointments with specific exhibitors before you go. This guarantees you time to speak to them at the virtual trade show booth. It also means you are able to limit who has your information.

Should You Give Out Your Information?

Exhibitors at trade show displays will try to take your contact details. They want to follow up with potential leads after the trade show. Are they one of your priority exhibitors? Do you want to hear from them again after the show? If you know you will never need their services, you can say no. Otherwise, the company will spend time and effort trying to get you on the phone. That's time they could be better spending on potential leads. That said, just because an exhibitor might not be a perfect fit now doesn't mean they won't be in the future. Your business might pivot, and the new direction will need the exhibitor's help. We recommend that you give your details to exhibitors anyway. You can discuss your specific needs after the trade show. The exhibitors may have other solutions for you. Or you can stay on their mailing list and stay up to date with what they're doing.

Dealing with Exhibitors

Decide which information you want them to have. An email address is a great option because you control when you check your inbox. If you do give them a phone number, provide a window of time when you're available for follow-up calls. Giving them your website add address is also a good way to get extra traffic. Most exhibitors will take down your information electronically. They may also ask extra questions around revenue, needs, or time in business. These questions may seem intrusive but they ensure the right sales staff follow-up. So how do you decline if you don't want exhibitors to have your details? You can simply say you're not interested right now, but you have their website.

Make the Most of Trade Shows

Meeting exhibitors is one of the best parts of attending a trade show. You can ask specific questions and get personalized answers in real-time. Giving the exhibitors your details lets them follow up with you outside the trade show. This gives you both more time and space to talk properly since trade shows can be so busy.

27 ever it takes to ensure our customers are winning. That’s always been our mission, but today, the mission looks a bit different. “We leverage some of the most advanced technologies around the preventive maintenance and lubrication of valves and fracs. As such, we have been able to increase safety and decrease cost. We are always striving to ensure zero red zone exposures, zero downtime, and massive reductions in nonproductive time and maintenance costs,” says Noel McKim, MEYER’s engineering manager. Within her roles in business development and strategy creation, Thompson has been responsible for acquiring and analyzing industry trends, customer feedback, R&D planning, and new product rollouts. On Working With Like-Minded Individuals Thompson has a thorough knowledge of engineering design and has been an active participant in project teams. This background was integral to her success in the program: she estimates more than 60% of the analytics curriculum requires team directed solutions for both homework and semester project assignments. Her capstone project was sourced by the university for an outside client that requested assistance in planning market penetration for its products. Led by the principal capstone project coach, Dr. Ed Jones, Thompson joined two other classmates in creating prediction models for market growth/shrinkage for this client. The successful capstone project was well received by both the university advisors and the end client.
