Popularity and Unique things Many famous actors,places,animales, and people are from kenya. One famous person is Wangari Maathai. She is know for her struggles, human right, and environmental conversations. She helped out with equal right for woman. She helped give them rights and be equal. Now let me tell you about a unique an animales is kenya. Some are the an african bullfrog, Zebra, Giraffe, Wildebeest, and black rhinoceros. SOme of them are rare and some are common but unique. Religion Many people are from all different religions. It means that they do stuff a little different. According to google it says “ Kenya --Religion. Approximately 70% of Kenyans are Christians (38% Protestant, 28% Catholic); about 25% are adherents of indigenous religions; 6% are Muslim.” Many people celebrate different religions and have fun doing it. School is kenya School in Kenya is different than it is in america. They start school earlier than any other school in America. According to Allthingkenyan.com it says “ 7:00-7:30 students arrive at school and start quiet study. 7:30-8:00 Announcements for the day and parade. 8:00-3:20 are 1-9 periods. 3:30-4:00 study Hall. 4:00-5:20 are sports and and games. They only have 40 a period and there school starts an hour earlier and ends an hour and a half later. (Allthingskenyan.com)
FoOdS There are many food traditions in kenya. Many delicious food if I would say. According to Kenyasafari.com they drink Chai. It is swahili’s was of saying tea. It is usually very milky and creamy.. They also like charged corn on the cob. They also like Mishkaki which is sweet meat pieces that are BBQ’d and charged. They also really love hot chips. It is a big time favorite there (Kenya Safari).
