Term 4: Parents’ Evening Dear parents/carers, We are very excited to announce, that we will be inviting parents into school next term, for one of our favourite times of year …Parents’ Evening! During the week commencing the 6th March, we will be inviting parents to meet with teachers, to celebrate and discuss how the children are progressing in their learning. The meetings will take place in the Main Hall, across the following days: Date Monday 6th March Tuesday 7th March Wednesday 8th March Thursday 9th March

Times 1:30pm- 6:30pm 1pm- 6:30pm 1:30pm – 6:30pm 1:30pm – 6:30pm 1:30pm – 6:30pm

Year groups Year 6, Moonbeams Nursery AM and PM Comets and Year 2 Cosmos, Year 4 and Year 1 Stardust, Year 5 and Year 3

Please note, children will need to be collected at the end of the day, at their normal finishing time. If your child is swimming on either of the days, they will need to be collected at the usual time and in the usual way, from the KS2 playground. To book your appointment times, you will need to navigate to the ‘Parents’ Evening Bookings’ tab on our school’s website. You will be able to book your slots from Wednesday 18th January until Friday 3rd March. Please note, if you have more than one child in school, it is important that you sign up as soon as possible to ensure that your times are close together (if on the same day), or as near the end of the school day as possible, (to avoid multiple journeys). On the day of each meeting, we kindly ask that you wait outside the front entrance of the school; a member of staff will invite you into the Main Hall, at your allotted time slot. If you have any questions, please ask at the office or alternatively, you can speak to Julie. Parents’ Evening is a crucial meeting and it is expected that every child is represented at these meetings, as it will be a chance for a discussion regarding how your child is progressing. If your child has a disability or a special educational need, Mrs Legge, who is our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), will also be available throughout each afternoon, to answer any questions or discuss any further support for your child. If you would like to book a specific time slot, you can do this via our ‘Parents’ Evening Bookings’ tab on our school’s website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs Andrews: [email protected]. Thank you for your continued support- we can’t wait to see you all! Yours faithfully, Becky Andrews Deputy Headteacher
