Description We use our understanding of behavioural science and international business strategy to uncover real insights about our customers’ behaviours- the reasons why they don’t behave in expected, predictable ways. We create an understanding of how to plan for change and work with international pharmaceutical companies to understand patient-physician behaviours and their implications for brand launch and lifecycle management.

Our behavioural work has also provided insights for agricultural industries, entertainment businesses and event management companies. You can request a copy of our book on behavioural science to improve your understanding of behaviour- and design-based change.

Description A client asked us for help with understanding more about the behaviour of patients and physicians in a rare cancer setting. We audited the existing research and interviewed customer-facing team members before applying several behavioural frameworks to the findings. We developed over 50 new insights about the current physicians’ and patients’ behaviours and recommended 13 actions to provide change and clarity to Lutathera.

User Journeys Our understanding of a user’s journey is an essential piece of strategic work we undertake early in a product development’s lifecycle. We use behavioural science to ask the right questions and have frameworks to listen for insights that others miss. These insights enable us to create actionable plans that reflect the real needs of our clients’ customers.

We recently supported Novartis on a patient journey workshop covering the lifetime of multiple sclerosis patients. We used physical immersion into the patient journey and behavioural frameworks to challenge current assumptions.

Description Communication shouldn’t be limited to brochures, apps and websites. Buildings are spaces that communicate and build on brand essence. At the internationally-recognised Jealott’s Hill research site for Syngenta, we’ve provided interior designs across several buildings to bring the Syngenta brand to life for visitors and internal teams.

Description There is an expectation for brands to change people’s behaviour- new brands replace others, shifting the behaviour of their customers. But this doesn’t happen without careful planning and acute audience understanding.

Each of our branding projects starts with an understanding of the current behavioural insights from customers. We plan for change by making the brand’s value proposition accessible through visual and verbal branding.

Description Effective communication is necessary for change. Phorix® has experience with all forms of communications, from print to digital and beyond. We focus on creating compelling content and visuals with a plan to deliver communication when needed. We continuously experiment with new ideas and technology to provide our best-quality content in new and consumerfresh ways.

Recently, we have redesigned two medical society websites. We started with a branding review and ended up designing a compelling approach to their web presence, helping more physicians access information related to strokes and multiple sclerosis.

Description At the heart of every great brand is a clear and compelling strategic brand guide (or brand book). It helps crystallise communications and ensures brand consistency.

Description Hicure was the first biostimulant launch for Syngenta Turf and Landscape. Our brief was to create a campaign to brand and position it as an alternative to current chemical approaches to turf management. The use of 3D illustration and the introduction of fresh colours made this brand stand out from the other products in the category.

Description During the pandemic, life was interrupted. We used this concept to bring back the For Life Uninterrupted campaign from Syngenta Pest Management. By posting on social media and revealing the interruption and consequent shift back to normality caused by the pandemic, we created a global social media campaign and internally raised awareness of the brand essence.

Description Syngenta asked us to rebrand their existing Lawn and Garden business. We generated a new name, logo and story after interviewing all of the 320 people in the business unit and listening to research from customers. We executed this through multichannel media, including film, print, PowerPoint, email footers and other peripheral areas.

Description Vaderis is a Basel-based biotechnology company focused on rare diseases. They asked us to interview and report on the lives of patients. We used behavioural science to plan the interviews and to understand the outputs. This work helped create a customer-facing app for future use in clinical trials.
