With industrialsewing machines, it is normal to carry out work while positioned directly in front of moving parts such as the needle and thread take-up lever, and consequently there is always a danger of injury that can be caused by these parts. Followthe instructions from training personnel and instructors regarding safe and cor rect operation before operating the machine so that you will know how to use it correctly.

When the machine is stopped in the needle up position and the pulley reference line is aligned with the belt cover reference line, there should be a 10 to 12 mm gap betweenthe needle plate top and needletip with thin, medium, or thick material, and a 10to 14mm gap with thick ma terial.
If adjustment is necessary, refer to the procedure below.
★ Before making any adjustments, be sure to turn the power off.

Needle down and thread trimmer signals
The synchronizer is preadjusted at the factory. Do not remove the synchronizer after removing the pulley. When mounting the pulley be sure to leave a 0.5 mm gap between the pulley edge and synchronizer. ^ Do not adjust the needle down stop position.
