How We Were Born As fathers and mothers eager to give our babies the best care, and with a desire to design garments that would make their lives as easy as possible. It’s been five years since then and we continue to look for and find innovative solutions so our children can feel even more comfortable, relaxed and happy in their day-to-day lives. Piu et Nau’s first item was the extendable all-in-one, the second was the lightweight sleeping bag, followed by the giant towels, the snap together outfits for newborns, the adjustable dummy clips and bandanas, the extra-long bibs, and from there to all the many other additions to our collection of garments and items for little ones. Placing priority on a baby’s well-being also helped us to define ourselves as a company: the work had to be meticulously done, in a nearby place we could access every day. With regard to the fabric, we also opted for high quality cotton that is certified every season by Aitex (Institute of Textile Technology).

ASÍ NACIMOS Como padres y madres con inquietudes sobre el cuidado de nuestros bebés y con el deseo de diseñar prendas para que su bienestar fuese aún mayor. Han pasado ya cinco años desde entonces y seguimos innovando y aportando soluciones para que puedan sentirse aún más cómodos, tranquilos y felices en su día a día. El pelele extensible fue el primer artículo Piu et Nau, el segundo el saco entretiempo, luego vinieron las toallas gigantes, los conjuntos de primera puesta con corchetes de unión, los chupeteros y bandanas regulables, los baberos extralargos y así se fue sumando el resto de la colección para los más pequeños. Pensar en el bienestar del bebé nos ayudó también a definirnos como empresa: el proceso de trabajo debía ser muy cuidadoso, en un lugar cercano al que pudiésemos acudir nosotras mismas cada día. En lo referente al tejido, decidimos apostar también por un algodón de alta calidad, que certificamos cada temporada a través Aitex (Instituto Tecnológico Textil).
