An online finding aids (OFA) is an overview of a collection of manuscripts, personal papers, or archive data that are available online. It is a tool that aids researchers in finding materials, comprehending and interpreting the materials they are utilizing, and assessing whether the items in a collection are pertinent to their research. Each online finding aid includes an abstract that gives a quick overview of the groups it describes. Some finding aids also provide more in-depth descriptions and inventories. Each finding aid lists the collection's name, creator of the materials, dates of the records, size (extent), and any access restrictions. Finding aids may be derived from accessioned records. It describes the types of finding aids that are available and assists users in identifying finding aids for the record group, collection, or archive items. An inventory that provides a more thorough description of the collection's elements follows. Even while online finding aids are helpful, their accessibility has been constrained. Some finding aids have been published or made available as HTML documents on the Web, although the majority are only accessible within the repositories that created them. 8

2.2 Early life of Sultan Azlan Shah 14

D.Y.M.M. Tuanku started attending the Government (English) School in Batu Gajah, which is now known as the Sultan Yussuf Batu Gajah School. Tuanku then joined Kuala Kangsar Malay College for his secondary education. Tuanku then continued his legal education at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, where he earned a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1953. D.Y.M.M. Tuanku was admitted to The English Bar by The Honorable Society of Lincoln's Inn on November 23, 1954. D.Y.M.M. Tuanku has begun working as the Deputy Secretary of the Perak State Government since his return from the United Kingdom. Later, as a First Class Magistrate and President of the Sessions Court, Tuanku joined the Legal and Judicial Service of the Federation of Malaya. The following positions were later filled by D.Y.M.M. Tuanku: Federal Attorney and Deputy Prosecutor, State Legal Adviser of Pahang and Johor, Registrar of the High Court of the Federation of Malaya, and finally Chief Registrar of the Federal Court of Malaysia. D.Y.M.M. Tuanku was elevated to the seat of the High Court of Malaya as the Commonwealth judiciary's youngest judge ever appointed in 1965, when he was only 37 years old. Tuanku was appointed as a Federal Court Judge in 1973, and six years later, in 1979, he was appointed as Chief Justice of the High Court of Malaya, a position he held until his appointment as Chief Justice (formerly known as Lord President) of the Court Federation of Malaysia on November 12, 1982. Furthermore, Tuanku's deep interest in sports, particularly hockey, dates back to his school days. Paduka Seri Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah is the President of the Malaysian Hockey Federation, President of Hockey Asia, and Vice President of the International Hockey Federation. In addition to hockey, His Majesty enjoys golf and is the current Royal Patron of the Malaysian Law Society in the United Kingdom and Ireland, the British Graduates Association of Malaysia, the Malaysian Medical Academy, the Rotary Clubs, the Lions Clubs, Club Ipoh DiRaja, Perak DiRaja Golf Club. D.Y.M.M. Tuanku was crowned Raja Muda of Perak on July 1, 1983, and inherited the throne of the state of Perak as the 34th Sultan of Perak on February 3, 1984. D.Y.M.M. Tuanku was crowned on December 9, 1985. D.Y.M.M. Tuanku has provided numerous benefits, particularly to institutions of higher learning, through donations and charitable work. Tuanku has served as Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia (4th October, 1971 - February, 1984), Chairman of the Higher Education Advisory Committee (1st November, 1974 - 31st October, 1976), and Chancellor of Universiti Malaya since 8th February, 1986. 2.3 coronation Ceromony of Sultan Azlan Shah 18

On 17 September 1989, the Enthronement Ceremony of His Majesty the 9th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong was held at Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur. DYMM Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuf Izzuddin Shah and DYMM Tuanku Bainun were installed on the federal throne in a ceremony full of tradition. Sultan Azlan Shah ascended the throne of the state of Perak on 3 February 1984. 5 years after that, the Council of Malay Rulers that convened in March 1989 elected him as Yang Di-Pertuan Agong. His Majesty inaugurated the first round of rotation of 9 Malay Rulers who were elected as Heads of State. Sultan Azlan, who has extensive experience in the field of law and once held the position of Chief Justice, is well-liked by the common people. While His Majesty served as Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, His Majesty's eldest son was appointed as the Regent of Perak, Raja Dr Nazrin Shah. The Coronation Ceremony of His Majesty the Yang diPertuan Agong is one of the days named as "Kolar Day". Therefore, the Collar must be worn for all recipients of the Honorary Degree with a Collar. When wearing the Rank Collar, the sash of the same Rank should not be worn. However, the Sash of other Grand Orders may be worn. Only one Collar may be worn and it is worn on both shoulders and is the same length from front to back as the badge is on the chest. In the case of formal or uniform wear, the Collar should be worn through the veil. Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will appear accompanied by the commander carrying the Cogan Alam and Cogan Agam, Adikung Bading as well as the commander carrying the Royal Weapons such as Swords, Daggers, Mace, Sundang and Berambu Spear. Dang Perwara will also prepare. Their arrival will be announced by the Chairman of the Ceremony. Your Majesty's arrival at Balairong Seri was initiated by Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela, the commander who carried the Cogan Alam and Cogan Agam, His Majesty's younger brother, Dang Perwara and Hulu Balang who carried the Royal Insignia. Once His Majesty is at the Main Entrance of Balairong Seri, Nobat will sing the song "Raja Berangkat". 22 Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will address and request the permission of His Majesty the YDPA to start the ceremony. After getting your consent, Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will withdraw and announce the start of the YDPA's Enthronement Ceremony. The Chairman of the Ceremony will then announce that the Coronation Ceremony Grand Tool will be brought into the Balairong Seri. STARTING OF CORONATION CEREMONY Submission of Al-Quran nul Karim When he arrived at Balairong Seri, Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela received the Nul Karim Al-Quran from the commander and took it to the Singgahsana up to the third step and now he requested permission to hand over the Nul Karim Al-Quran to His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. His Majesty will kiss the Nul Karim Al-Quran and place it on the table between His Majesty and the Queen. Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will then come down and the commander will place the other instruments of greatness on the table, and together with the Datuk Penghulu Istiadat and the Religious Officer, proceed to their seats. 3 Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will address and request the permission of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to address His Excellency the Prime Minister who will read the Proclamation. After receiving your consent, Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will step back and invite the Prime Minister to read it. Datuk Penghulu Istiadat will come forward to take the tray containing the Proclamation and, together with Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela, accompany the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister will then take the Proclamation from the Datuk Penghulu Istiadat and read it out. After reading it, the Prime Minister will put back the Proclamation, bow and step back followed by Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela and Datuk Penghulu Istiadat who put the Proclamation back on the table. 23 Declaratory Memorandum Surrender of the Government Keris Datuk Penghulu Istiadat will take the tray containing the Kingdom Keris and accompany Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela to meet His Majesty. In front of the throne, Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will bend down and receive the tray from Datuk Penghulu Istiadat and face up to the third step, kneel and present the Kingdom Keris. His Majesty the Yang diPertuan Agong will receive the Keris, remove it from the sheath and kiss it. Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela bent down and took the tray containing the Pledge of Allegiance from the Grand Master of Ceremonies and went to the throne up to the third step, knelt down and presented the Pledge of Allegiance, and then he would step back and stand in front of the throne with the Grand Master of Ceremonies. The audience will stand and His Majesty the Yang diPertuan Agong will read the Pledge. After the Pledge, Nobat will play the song "Crowned King". Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will then ascend the throne up to the third step and receive the Pledge of Allegiance and descend. The tray containing the Pledge of Allegiance was then handed over to the Datuk Penghulu Istiadat. The Yang di-Pertuan Agong will return to the throne and the audience will sit back. Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela and Datuk Penghulu Istiadat stepped back and put the Pledge of Allegiance back on the table.

Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela addressed and requested His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's permission to call the Prime Minister to give congratulations and pledge allegiance to the government and the people of Malaysia. After receiving approval, the Prime Minister addressed His Majesty accompanied by Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela and Datuk Penghulu Istiadat carrying a tray containing the Prime Minister's speech. After delivering the speech, the Prime Minister will return a copy of the speech and bow to both His Highnesses and withdraw to return to his seat, accompanied by Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela and Datuk Penghulu Istiadat. After escorting the Prime Minister to his seat, Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela once again appeared accompanied by the Datuk Penghulu Certiadat while carrying a tray containing the Certificate of Speech. Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela then requested His Majesty's permission to present the Certificate of Speech. He then returned the tray containing the certificate to Datuk Penghulu Istiadat, prayed and left the throne. Datuk Penghulu Istiadat returned the watikan to its tray and placed it on the table Maharaja Lela then took the tray containing the Certificate of Speech from the Datuk Penghulu Istiadat and climbed the throne to the third step and handed over the Certificate of Speech. His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong will receive the Certificate of Speech and Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will step back and descend the throne. His Majesty then began his speech. 26

The chairman will announce that the prayer will begin. The Religious Officer of the National Palace will recite a prayer. The Religious Officer together with Datuk Penghulu Istiadat requested permission to recite the prayer. After consent is obtained, they bow down and the Religious Officer will recite the Prayer of Peace. After the end, the Religious Officer and Datuk Penghulu Ceremonial will retreat and return to their seats. Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela and Datuk Penghulu Istiadat will approach the throne to the third step to receive the Quran from His Majesty the Yang diPertuan Agong. After receiving the Quran, Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela will step down from the throne. He will then hand over the Quran to Datuk Penghulu Istiadat. 29 His Majesty's departure Figure ? Her Majesty the YDPA Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj and Her Majesty the King Queen Tuanku Siti Aishah are sitting on the Singgahsana on Coronation Day. The Chairman will announce that the time has come for Her Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the Raja Permaisuri Agong to leave the Royal Palace. As soon as the audience stands up, Nobat will play the song "Raja Berangkat". Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela, Datuk Penghulu Idaat and bearer of the Royal Instrument, Royal Entourage and Dang Perwara will take their places in front of the throne. His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the King Empress Agong descended from the throne and left the Seri Palace led by Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela and Datuk Penghulu Istiadat carrying the Quran, followed by the Bearers of the Cogan of Nature and Cogam of Religion, Royal Instruments of Majesty, Royal Entourage and Dang Perwara. Nobat will stop playing when the two of them arrive at the entrance of Balairong Seri and head to a special room.
