Ward Temple and Family History Coordination Meeting

Ward Temple and Family History Coordination Training - held at the Delfina Chapel last March 5, 2022. including bishopric members, various auxiliary leaders, and stake and ward temple and family history (TFH) consultants. Presided by President Edgar C. Cabrera (Stake Presidency 1st Counselor). Coordinated by Brother Marlon Luna (Stake Adviser for TFH), Sister Maritez R. Saulog (Stake TFH Consultant), Sister Alodia A. Sobrejuanite (Stake TFH Consultant), and Sister Luz D. Alfornon.

Welcome Home Elder Villar!

Brother Gemir Villar has returned from his Mission in the Philippines Legazpi Mission. He is now serving as the Tagum 2nd Ward Mission Leader.

Chapel Development Meeting A chapel development meeting together with various church employees, architects, and stake leaders was held last Friday, 11 March 2022 at the Delfina chapel.

Young Single Adults Ministering Efforts Rain or shine they will minister! The Young Single Adults visited Maco and Kapalong to invite members for an upcoming activity stake activity. This was done last March 14 & 21, 2022.

180th Relief Society Anniversary A Celebration of Sisterhood was held last 18th of March, 2022 at White Beach, Tagnanan, Davao de Oro.

Tagum Saints Were Featured in Newsroom! The members of Tagum Stake were featured in Newsroom. As part of the International Day of Happiness, the members shared their thoughts about the joy that comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. The article was published last March 19, 2022.

Welcome Back Returned Missionaries! Welcome back to the Tagum Philippines Stake Brother Vince Kenneth Angoy and Brother Allen Mark Codera! They were released as full-time missionaries last 22nd of March 2022 by President Emerson D. Nang at the Delfina Chapel.

Young single adults from all Tagum Philippines Stake units gathered despite the city's rain and power interruptions. It was a spiritually-filled afternoon including lessons from YSA leaders and testimonies from the newly-released full-time missionaries, Brother Gemir Villar, Brother Vince Angoy, and Brother Allen Mark Codera. The event was supervised and presided by President Emerson D. Nang.

Welfare and Self-Reliance Workshop initiated by the WSR Area Team held last April 2, 2022. Participants include members from Bislig District, Mati District, Monkayo District, San Francisco Stake, and Tagum Stake.

Welcome home Brother Stephen Acdal! He was released as a fulltime missionary of the Philippines Tacloban Mission last March 30, 2022, by President Emerson D. Nang.

The first week of the 12-week long Stake Mini MTC. Presided by President Leonardo C. Natad, Jr., the stake leadership initiated the effort to help prospective missionaries be better prepared to preach the gospel as full-time missionaries and become a standard for units to follow in the following years. This was held on the 2nd day of April 2022.

The second week of the 12-week long Stake Mini Missionary Training Center. Presided by President Leonardo C. Natad, Jr., the training continued with President Edgar C. Cabrera as the discussion leader on April 9, 2022.

Medical screening and services collaborated by the members of the Tagum Philippines Stake and Mabuhay Deseret Foundation last 7th of April, 2022 as part of the Relief Society Anniversary celebration

Start Young with Academy for Creating Enterprise: How to Start an Online Business Without Money" workshop conducted by Brother Randie Pinio. Participants include Tagum Philippines Stake members ages 16-24 held on the 13th of April 2022 at the Delfina Chapel.

Welcome back, Brother Silvestre Gertos Acdal III! Returning from the Philippines Butuan Mission, Brother Acdal was released as a full-time missionary on the 20th of April, 2022 by President Leonardo C. Natad, Jr.

Last April 23, 2022, a CLUSTER TRAINING II was held at Sison Chapel, Tagum City. In attendance are the different communication councils from Bislig District, Mati District, Monkayo District, San Francisco Stake and Tagum Stake.

Welcome Home Elder Lagare! Welcome back Brother Aldrin Lagare! After 2 years of service in various areas of the Philippines Butuan Mission, he's finally back to our home Stake. He was released as a full-time missionary by President Edgar C. Cabrera last May 4, 2022, at the Sison Chapel.

We invite all priesthood holders to attend the commemoration of the restoration of the Priesthood in this dispensation. The event will be held on Saturday, May 21, 3:00 - 4:00 PM at the Delfina Chapel. The Stake Presidency will deliver talks highlighting the blessings brought about by the priesthood. See you there!

Teacher's Training Convention was held last 21 May 2022, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Delfina Chapel. Participants include various auxiliary leaders and CES Coordinator, Brother Ferdinand Pangan.

Last May 28, 2022, the members of the Elder Jose A. Manarin and Stake Presidency, visited three families from different wards prior to the Stake Conference.

Stake Youth Conference The youth of Tagum Stake gathered together to hold a Youth Conference last July 13-15, 202.

Mini-MTC Graduation The youth and the leaders of the stake held a graduation ceremony for the youth who was able to finish the mini-MTC training. President Baligod Butuan Mission's president visited the stake and gave talk to the youth.

Temple and Family History Work Bishop Arjay Ablao of Tagum 5th ward together with his amazing youth submitted names of their ancestors.

YSA Film Fest 2022 They Young Single Adults of Tagum Stake held their first Tagum Stake Film Fest. The YSAs collaborated with different units to produce amazing short films.

Viirtual Assistant Workshop By: Brother Marlong Cañas Virtual assistant/online career workshop with Brother Marlon Cañas, the resource speaker, held at the Delfina chapel last September 3, 2022. This activity was presided by President Edgar C. Cabrera, Tagum stake presidency 1st counselor and assisted by Brother Rennie Munoz Aurelio, welfare and selfreliance in charge, and Brother Allen Mark Codera, welfare and self-reliance specialist.

Tagum 4th Ministering Workshop

The Tagum 4th ward conducted a "Providing Strength to Others: Ministering in the New Normal" workshop provided by Brother Neil Y. Galvez last September 24, 2022 at the Delfina Chapel.

City Vice Mayor Visits For End of Family Week Celebration At the conclusion of the Family Week Celebration 2022, Vice Mayor Allan L. Rellon shared his thoughts on the importance of the family together with the Stake leaders of Tagum. This was held at the Delfina chapel last October 2, 2022.

October 22, 2022--Asuncion, Davao del Norte. The outcome of the Medical Mission and Medical Screening, a collaborative project between and amongst The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints -Tagum Philippines Stake, Local Government of Asuncion, Mabuhay Deseret Foundation, Barangay Council of Cambanogoy, Purok Federation of Barangay Cambanogoy and Davao del Norte Council of Women Foundation was a resounding success and imprinted a remarkable impact to hundreds of Asuncionenos as they availed various health and medical services afforded to them on that blissful day. It ushered everyone to manifesting the power of synergy of purpose and love for our fellowmen as inspired by the working examples of Jesus Christ within our midst today! God will surely provide compassionate healing and comfort to those who have been rendered with numerous health interventions during the daylong healthfest as He also blesses more all the benevolent donors and toiling hands that made the event a reality.

Multi-Stake YSA Conference Gathering, travel, and orientation during the first day of the MatiMonkayo-Tagum Young Single Adults Conference which was held last October 31- November 1, 2022, at Sison Chapel, Tagum City.



BYU-Pathway & English Connect Devotional Last November 5, 2022, the BYU Pathway Missionaries Elder & Sister Crisanto and Elder & Sister Vianzon held a BYUPathway devotional with the youth and adult members of the stake.

Relief Society Temple Trip Relief Society Temple trip held during the first week of November 2022 including counselors of the Stake Presidency, sisters receiving their personal endowment, and those performing temple ordinances for their ancestors.

Tagum Stake Featured In Newsroom The Medical Mission last October 22, 2022, in Asuncion, Davao del Norte, was featured in the church newsroom.

2022 Christmas Devotional On December 3, 2022, the Tagum Stake Presidency held a Christmas Devotional for the members of the stake. Each church unit prepared two Christmas songs that entertained and inspired the members. The stake presidency also delivered a powerful message about Christmas on this day.

Hydroponics Worskhop A Hydroponics Livelihood Training was held at the SIson Chapel last December 10, 2022. The event was facilitated by Brother McCoy F. Crisanto.

3rd Annual TagumStake Conference The year ended with an insipiring stake conference last December 17, 2022. The conference was presided by Elder Revillo. The changes in the stake presidency was also announced in this conferenced.
