The Teen Advisory Group is a team of teens focused on developing friendships while shaping how teens would like to see the library. We design the teen’s section of the library to create a location for teens in the library. In addition to being teens, we are also leaders! We lead activities for children ages 5-9 and help develop a positive community at the library. All TAG volunteers are required to register with the TAG program coordinator at the library branch prior to meetings. All teens are welcom. No experience needed. 6

EVENTS Participating in events isn’t mandatory as a TAG member but it is highly encouraged. As a team, we partake in different events every year as a team building activity and to give TAG members more opportunities to create lifelong friendships. As well, events give TAG members the opportunity to express their creativity and be a more active member in the community.
