Geeta And Me Why Geeta to UnboxEQ? You might wonder. When I read the Geeta for the first time, I was 30 years old, and my life can clearly be divided into a pre geeta gyan era & a post geeta gyan era. Having read over 100 modern books on emotional intelligence, Geeta, spoken 5000 years back, has in it every learning present in those modern books. We need the eye to analyze the Geeta.

Many questions came to my mind regarding this treasure of knowledge we have lost. The biggest one is - Why is Geeta not taught to children in India?

Geeta would help our children make better decisions, learn resilience, and be emotionally intelligent. In addition, it would help teens navigate those difficult years with ease.

This Journal - The Beginning, is the first from the UnboxingEQ with the Bhagavad Geeta series. This Journal attempts to attract our children toward this treasure trove of knowledge. 'The Beginning' introduces the setup around the Geeta. To analyze Geeta's knowledge; we need to understand the basic story of the Mahabharata.

Hope this enriches your life the way it did mine.

Swati PS - there are more than 100 versions of the Mahabharata, so there may be a version that you have been familiar with that is different from the version we used here as a base. However, the learnings needed for our children to live fulfilling life are the same.

So to make it possible, his charioteer & advisor was given the boon of satellite vision. So he could see from the palace the happenings in the Kurukshetra as they were happening as he narrated it to Dhritrashtra.

Did You Know On the 14th day of the war of the Mahabharata, Arjun vowed that if he could not kill Jayadrath by the end of the war day (sunset), he would enter a pyre of fire. Krishna knew there would be a total solar eclipse for a few minutes, and everyone would think that war day had ended. This would result in Jayadrath coming out of his hiding place. At that time, Arjuna killed Jayadrath.
