I’m Jennifer~a 58 year old wife, mom, and Nana. For much of my life I wasn’t well. I still did all the things every mom does, but I never felt good. Beginning at age 18, I started spending a LOT of time in drs offices. Words like spastic colon/ IBS, lupus, hashimotos, celiac, rosacea, food journal, rheumatoid arthritis, probiotics, allergies, joint pain, fatigue, bloated, NO, avoid, fragile, exhausted, medication, drs apts, sad, sick, surviving ~ defined me over the next 33 years. During those years I tried everything to feel well. Every kind of supplement. Every kind of diet. LOTS of prescription medications. Gallon bags of allergy medications. HOURS in drs offices. Tests and more tests. LOTS of bloodwork. Every kind of doctor. Daily exercise. LOTS of prayers. A little over seven years ago, a friend sent me a book about gut health. Another friend suggested I try these supplements she’d heard helped people like me. Given my health history and experience trying new stuff - I said a HARD NO! BUT- I kept reading and learning about gut health and just knew it was the answer I’d been searching for. Over the years, I’d tried every kind of probiotic out there. They worked for a while until they didn’t. After trying everything, I had a compounding pharmacy making a probiotic just for me; so I thought I had the “gut health” thing covered. Had a bad flare, so I called my friend and told her I’d try her gut health stuff, but just wanted to start with this pink drink she’d mentioned may help with belly issues. That decision transformed my health because it led me to an entire system of products I didn’t know my body needed. Over the course of 18 months, I figured out which products at what doses I needed and when I got gut healthy~ my whole world changed. My lifelong IBS issues disappeared. I was able to stop taking 6 prescription medications. I dropped 25 lbs and several pant sizes. I finally slept through the night and my energy was incredible! Seven+ years later, here are the words that define me~ Jesus girl, mama, wife, Nana, friend, warrior, YES, strong, teacher, business owner, JOY, encourager, well, THRIVING! I had IBS and so much inflammation that I didn’t even recognize until starting Plexus and it began to go away! I have lost weight and kept it off..I have had several orthopedic issues but had easy recoveries. I haven’t had sinus allergies 3-4 times a year either! All of these are positive affects of Plexus! Jennifer McCabe On a beautiful September day, 6 years ago a friend invited me to a friends get together to hear about the “pink drink” she had been drinking for a while and was feeling better than she had in years. What I heard intrigued me, I tried some samples and yes in a short period of time I had energy and alertness that I hadn’t felt in a while. I took the leap and began my connection to Plexus supplements that would change my life. I had a neuromuscular autoimmune disease that required me to get bi weekly infusions for hours at a time. I had added products that helped “my gut” get clean and balanced. I began to spread my infusions to weeks, then a month, and so on. I had allergies so bad from 2013 to 2017 that my kids thought I was going to die from bronchitis! I was hospitalized and was sick 9 out of 12 months! We started Plexus in Feb of 2017 and haven't been sick many days since! I also deal with migraines and they are much less frequent and less severe than before Plexus! I started Plexus originally in June 2018, but wasn't consistent, said it didn't work, and fell off the bandwagon. In Feb 2020 I decided to give Plexus another chance. This time I was committed to giving it time and be consistent for at least 90 days. I was desperate to find help with: Severe Headaches Sugar cravings Daily Naps No energy Poor quality of sleep Soda addiction Skin issues Couldn't lose weight After a few weeks I had all day energy so I no longer needed a nap. Since starting Plexus I no longer have tummy issues, or deal with seasonal allergies. About 6 months ago I came across a post for a “Pink Drink” I saw this post at a time that I knew that I needed to do something… I was overweight, had high blood pressure, borderline cholesterol, had issues with inflammation in my knee, and didn’t feel like myself. I started my Plexus journey four years ago! I am a single Mom of 9 year old twins and an Elementary Principal. I struggled with energy, terrible gut issues and lived off chocolate and Dr. Pepper! I was Puffy, overweight, woke up everyday to a pounding throbbing headache which I now know was unstable blood sugar. I have been trying to lose weight and get fit for about a year and lost about 5 pounds and that was all. I was also not sleeping well so was tired ALL THE TIME along with hot flashes that kept me awake at night. Add to that the fact that I NEVER eliminated daily and sometimes only weekly (not good but I didn't know any different since I was a child (according to mom). I was taking 3 different medications for my allergies/asthma 2 times a day which far exceeded what was recommended. This was the only combo we found that would help me function during the day. It's hard to think back on who I was before and how I lived my life. The woman on the left had just given birth to a beautiful baby boy in April of 2018. She was a first time mom who made it through many sleepless nights and the struggles and experiences that go along with that. I was exhausted, addicted to carbs, had digestive issues, headaches and acne. I started my journey July 15th, 2020. Y’all!!! 2019 vs 2021. Same pose but different Michael Shryock. First he said why am I posing like this. I responded because it’s all about that pose ha ha. Michael really got serious about losing extra pounds after I started adding in our weight loss products back in May of last year. I started moving my body, adding our weightloss products and switched up food choices and before you know it I was down 60 lbs. Michael started in Oct 2020 doing what I was doing and y’all he is down over 80 lbs. He would seriously have to get into the hot tub every night because his hips were bothering him, he was not able to sleep even putting a board under his side of the bed thinking it was the mattress. Nope y’all!! It was extra weight on his body that was making him feel all the aches and pains. Today he sleeps like a baby, still gets into the hot tub but not because of hip pain but because he likes it. He is able to shop in reg stores now not big man sizes without having to wonder if his shirt would button. He is happier and healthier. Recently he had a whole series of bloodwork done for insurance renewal and his results came back absolutely fantastic. A nurse friend told him that people would kill to have those numbers.
