INDEPENDENCE DAY 15th August,2022 "The preservation of freedom is not the task of soldiers alone. The whole nation has to be strong" – Lal Bahadur Shastri "Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom" - Jawaharlal Nehru After attaining independence on August 15, 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru – the first Prime Minister of India – hoisted the national flag at Red Fort in Delhi. He then addressed the nation and since then, this has become an annual tradition followed by the presiding Indian Prime Minister. . Our school celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and happiness. The sense of pride could clearly be seen on the faces of students and teachers. The programme started with flag hoisting at 8:30 am. The principal mam hoisted the flag followed with parade. Later on she inspired the students by her motivational speech. The programme was taken over by our little rising stars of LKG and SKG, they presented wonderful act and dance performances. The students of class I gave speech on Independence Day. Later on fabulous dance performances, patriotic songs and poems were presented by the students. There was a feeling of pride and patriotism in everyone's heart.

RAKSHA BANDHAN (10th August,2022) "A sibling may be the keeper of one's identity, the only person with the keys to one's unfettered, more fundamental self."– Marian Sand Maier Raksha Bandhan is the celebration of the love of brother and sister. It is one of the auspicious festivals in India celebrated with great fun and excitement all over the country. An amazing morning assembly was organized by class 4th on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The students sang songs, delivered speeches and gave beautiful dance performances . The students also performed the ritual of tieing rakhi with sweets. The assembly was very well organised and the decoration was appreciable.
