Good Afternoon Everyone A very warm welcome to SB Phoenix FC and our match officials to Sean Devereux Park today. The TVPL declared Yateley United as Team of the Month September winning all matches without conceding a goal. It is an important Club occasion today as the official opening of our New Clubhouse was last night and we have a ground and playing surface that we can be proud of. So please enjoy the game, use the Clubhouse and stick around for a drink after. See you in the bar! Richard Pascoe Chairman – Adult Section BRAMSHILL 3-3 Yateley This keenly-contested game resulted in a draw. The rough state of the ground at Bramshill rather put the visitors off their game, with the result that they were 1 goal in arrears at half-time, Bramshill having registered 2 goals mainly through the good play of the wing forward, while Yateley scored one through C Dodd taking advantage of a nice pass from the centre-half. Immediately after the resumption of the game, Bramshill scored again, their right winger making a fine run along the touchline and centring well. Yateley did not allow this to dishearten them and scored 2 goals in quick succession, one headed by C Oram, who was a useful centre-forward, and the other by the Captain W Harrison. Yateley continued to press but no further goals were added and full time arrived with the score Yateley 3, Bramshill 3. Today (Saturday) Yateley play Crowthorne United at Crowthorne.
