a excursión comienza desde el hotel donde se encuentran alojados vuestros pasajeros. Desde allí serán trasladados al Parque Nacional Iguazú, el que fue creado en el año 1934, y que cuenta con un total de 55.500 has. entre Parque y Reserva. El parque lleva el nombre del río que le sirve de límite norte y que en idioma guaraní significa “agua grande”, el que seguramente fue denominado así por el enorme caudal que desbarranca en la zona, 1750 m³ por segundo.

Dentro del parque encontrarán las majestuosas “Cataratas del Iguazú”, que los impresionarán con sus más de 275 saltos, los que oscilan entre 30 y 80 metros de altura.

he trip starts at the hotel were your passengers are staying, from where they will be transported to the Iguazu National Park. This National Park was created in 1934, when the Argentinean government decided to dedicate 13.590 acres for the preservation of the local wildlife and vegetation of the area. The park was named after the river witch serves as the northern limit of itself, the Iguazu river, witch in the native language of the Guaranies (local tribe) means “Big Water”, probably because of it’s huge amount of, aprox. 1750 m³/s. Located inside the park they will find more than 275 waterfalls, from 30 to 80mts high, which all together are called to be the “Iguazu Falls”. As part of the efforts to preserve the ecological balance, it was built inside the park, a Bio-Friendly train. It transports visitor’s from the “Visitor’s Center Station” to the inside stations, “Cataratas” and “Devils Throat” from were all the walking trails begin.

The “Inferior Trail” has distributed among it’s 1.700m of length, 8 mayor panoramic spots. This trail gives visitors the chance to interact more closely with nature, as it goes through and over the falls into the jungle and back to the beginning of the “Upper Trail”. The “Upper Trail” offers, among it’s 1200m of extension, wonderful panoramic views. These trail goes, among others, over the following falls: “Dos Hermanas”, “Chico”, “Ramirez”, “Bossetti”, “Adan y Eva”, “Bernabe Mendez” and it ends in the “Mbigua”. At these point visitors can appreciate all the splendor of the falls, thanks to a wide open in the jungle. These open allows the “San Martin”, “Escondido”, “Dos Mosqueteros”, “Rivadavia”, and the “Tres Mosqueteros” falls to be seen all together. Once the Inferior and the Upper trails are completed, its time to visit the next station, which is “Puerto Canoas”. To get the-

re visitors travel, by train, 3 km up-river deeper into the subtropical forest. At “Puerto Canoas” station they will find the walking trail, which leads to the biggest and most spectacular fall of them all, which is “Devil’s Throat”. n este día de excursión el pasajero podrá conocer las principales bellezas de la provincia.

Saliendo de Puerto Iguazú, y a escasos 45 km llegamos a la Ciudad de Wanda donde podremos apreciar las Minas de Piedras Preciosas. Durante el recorrido de 220 km que nos separan de las Ruinas de San Ignacio veremos la diversidad de paisajes y las distintas plantaciones de té, yerba mate, coníferas, etc. Aquí visitaremos las instalaciones de un molino donde se procesa la yerba mediante el procedimiento más artesanal. Al llegar a la ciudad de San Ignacio, visitaremos las Ruinas de San Ignacio Miní, fundadas en Junio de 1632 por los jesuitas Cataldino y Simón Mosseta. Sus imponentes ruinas, restauradas por la Comisión Nacional de Monumentos Históricos, dan una idea del extraordinario florecimiento

alcanzado por una civilización donde el orden social impuesto por los jesuitas a los indígenas les posibilitó un gran progreso material y espiritual.

Dentro del Departamento de Iguazú, y a 45 km de la ciudad del mismo nombre, se encuentran las ciudades de Wanda y Puerto Libertad, lugar donde curiosamente se hallan las Minas de Piedras Preciosas al ras de la tierra. Aquí se realiza la explotación de las mismas pudiéndose ver piedras como: Topacio, Amatista, Cristal de Roca, Ágata, etc. Durante el recorrido para llegar hasta allí por la Ruta Nacional Nº 12, podremos apreciar las plantaciones de yerba mate, té, tung y reforestaciones de coníferas, siendo éstas las principales fuentes económicas de la provincia.

On this day the visitor will get to know one of the main beauties, the province of Misiones has to offer: the San Ignacio Jesuit Ruins.

The town of “Wanda” is located, at only 45 km from Puerto Iguazu, there our passengers will appreciate the open sky mines of semi precious stones.

During the resting 220 km till we get to the ruins, the landscape is going to delight watchers eyes, with plantations of several herbs, like Tea, Yerba Mate, conifers, etc.., we’ll also visit an antique mill, were these herbs are prepared in the old fashion.

Located inside the county of Iguazu, at only 45km from the city of Iguazu, we’ll visit the towns of “Wanda” and “Puerto Libertad”. Towns were the open sky mines of precious stones are located. These mines provide the raw material as “Topacio”, “Amatista”, “Cristal de Roca” for the local artists to perform beautiful pieces of jewelry.

SAN IGNACIO

Once at the city of San Ignacio, we’ll visit the ruins of “San Ignacio Mini”, which were founded in 1632 by the Jesuit monks “Cataldino” and “Simon Mosseta”. These magnificent remains will give visitors a perspective of what level of development, these monks brought to the area and it’s locals, not only because of the technical progresses but most significantly because of its social and spiritual greatness.

During the way there, visitors can apreciate the vast plantations of Tee, Yerba Mate, Tung, Citrus and the reforested areas of conifers, which is now days, the main industry of the province.

ste paseo es la perfecta conjunción de navegación y selva. En unidades 4 x 4 todo terreno emprenderemos la aventura de recorrer 12 km por la selva misionera, contemplando y conociendo las diversas especies de flora y fauna. Al llegar a Puerto Macuco, nos embarcaremos en lanchas zodiac y navegaremos 12 km por los rápidos del Iguazú inferior hasta introducirnos en el cañón de la Garganta del Diablo. Luego nos dirigiremos al Salto San Martín y Tres Mosqueteros para darnos una “ducha” en las Cataratas. Finalmente se desembarca frente a la Isla San Martín. Duración: 1 hora 45 min.

Las lanchas van equipadas con salvavidas para cada uno de los pasajeros y respeta las normas de seguridad vigentes de Prefectura Nacional.

ste circuito se desarrolla a 7 km de la Ciudad de Puerto Iguazú y sobre orillas del río Paraná, en la reserva forestal de Puerto Península a cargo de la Dirección de Remonta y Veterinaria del Ejército Argentino. Descripción del circuito: Para arribar al circuito se recorre en vehículos 4 x 4 un trayecto de 15 km de selva en un camino mejorado. Desde el inicio del circuito se realiza 5 km de trekking bordeando un arroyo hasta llegar al Salto Tigre, a pocos metros del Río Paraná. Allí en el salto realizan Rappel asistido. El rappel también se puede realizar en seco en el peñón. Luego, realizan tirolesa atravesando la barranca del tigre sentados en un arnés colgados de un cabo. Finalizadas estas actividades se realiza trekking bordeando el Arroyo del Tigre. Durante este trayecto observarán la flora y

* la fauna. Luego, en los vehículos 4 x 4, realizarán un trayecto por la selva hasta llegar a la zona de las cañafístolas gigantes. Allí subirán por una escalera de soga hasta una plataforma ubicada en la copa de los árboles a 30 metros de altura. De allí observarán el techo de la selva. Desde la plataforma realizarán cannopy hasta otro árbol, con una sensación indescriptible. La excursión tiene una duración de aproximadamente 5 horas. Se puede realizar a la mañana o a la tarde. Se pueden realizar todas las actividades o solamente algunas con diferentes variantes (tales como travesía off road, jungle bike). Durante el trayecto los pasajeros serán acompañados por guías especializados para interpretar la naturaleza. En grupos de más de 20 pasajeros van 2 guías y un coordinador. La excursión no requiere gran esfuerzo físico, ya que están asistidos por los arneses. Es conveniente vestir ropa cómoda y algo para cambiarse para no estar toda la excursión mojados.

Sol Iguazú Turismo provee repelente, agua mineral para el trayecto y botiquín de primeros auxilios. Es conveniente contratar fotógrafo. Las actividades se realizan con todo el equipamiento de seguridad necesario: arneses, casco, y son asistidos por personal especializado antes, durante y después de realizar la actividad. La finalización de la excursión se podría hacer con un asado en un ranch que está ubicado dentro de la reserva.

GREAT JUNGLE

GREAT ADVENTURE

his trip is the perfect combination; river navigation and jungle safari. On board of 4WD vehicles we’ll drive 12km into the jungle, learning about its wildlife and the characteristics of its vegetation, till we reach “Port Macuco”. From there on will navigate, with powerful zodiac speedboats, 12km up river, sorting the white waters of the lower Iguazu River, straight into the Devil’s Throat canyon. Before ending our navigation will also visit the “San Martin” and the “Tres Mosqueteros” falls, were we are going to experience the force of nature as we stop for a quick and refreshing “shower” underneath it. These adventure ends at the in front shore of the San Martin Island. Duration: 1hour 45min.

All speedboats are equipped with lifejackets and comply with the regulations of the National Coast Guards Commission.

ADVENTURE his circuit takes place at 7km away from the city of Puerto Iguazu at the shores of the Parana river, inside the forest reserve of Port Peninsula. Highly qualified members of the Argentinean Army supervise all activities. Description of the Circuit: The first part of the trip involves 15km of off road driving through the jungle. Once at the beginning of the walking trail they’ll do 5 km of trekking, bordering a stream till we get to the Tiger Fall, a few meters away from the Parana river. At these fall, Rappel activities take place, it can be done through the waterfall or through the dry part of the cliff. Then, sustained from a harness, the slope is crossed, descending to the tiger stream. After wildlife watching and some more trekking activities, will board again the 4wd transportation that’s going to take us to the giant “Cañofistolas”

* (bamboo forest). There they will climb a hanging stair till they reach an elevated platform (30m high) from were the “Roof of the Jungle” can be observed. From these elevated platform they’ll cross to another one located on other tree... by air! These excursion lasts aprox. 5 hours. It can be done in the morning or in the afternoon. All of the activities are NOT compulsory and optional activities are available, such as off road trails and jungle biking. During the excursion passengers will be at all times instructed and supervised by Specialized guides. In group’s grater than 20, two guides and one coordinator will be assigned to it. This excursion doesn’t demand any special technical knowledge or special ability, and can be performed by any person of average fiscal condition. It’s preferable to ware casual clothing and to bring along some extra clothing in case they get wet, because of the waterfalls. We suggest hiring a photographer.

Sol iguazu Turismo will provide the passenger with insect repellent lotion, sparkling water and first aid kits. Activities are performed with all the necessary equipment: harness, helmets, security lines and all passengers will be assisted before, during and after realizing any of the above mentioned activities. As an optional activity the excursion can be ended with a typical meal “Asado” held in a near by ranch located inside the reserve.

TURISMO AVENTURA SAFARI DE SELVA Y CASCADAS

a excursión se realiza dentro de Parque Nacional Iguazú (lado Argentino) en el área de Reserva del Parque Nacional Iguazú. El paseo consta del recorrido de un tramo de 4 km por el Sendero Yacaratiá (que se encuentra cerrado al tránsito del público) en vehículos de doble tracción, descubiertos y acondicionados para tal fin. A lo largo de este trayecto se van realizando paradas explicativas en un íntimo contacto con la naturaleza. Luego se continúa realizando trekking 800 metros por el Sendero Macuco, culminando en el Salto Arrechea con una pileta natural llamada “El Pozón”. En este maravilloso paraíso natural se tendrá tiempo libre para descansar y tomar un refrigerio. Luego se retorna al vehículo para su regreso al Centro de Visitantes.

FLOATING Todo el recorrido cuenta con la compañía de un guía especializado que actúa como nexo entre los visitantes y el entorno, explicando toda la temática relativa a la dinámica de la selva. Duración: 2 horas. Grado de dificultad: Bajo.

a excursión comienza en la pasarela Garganta del Diablo. Allí nos embarcamos en balsas a remo en el Río Iguazú Superior para aprovechar su corriente y realizar una flotada. Durante la travesía en Balsa disfrutaremos del delta, la avifauna y la flora, con guías que nos ayudarán a interpretar la naturaleza y descubrir la selva en todo su esplendor. Esta flotada es increíble en cuanto al íntimo contacto con la naturaleza y la paz del medio ambiente. Al finalizar el floating desembarcaremos en Puerto Tres Marías. Luego iremos en vehículos con tracción 4 x 4 a la Estación Centro de Visitantes bordeando el Río Iguazú Superior.

JUNGLE SAFARI & FALLS This trip takes place inside the National Park of Iguazu (Argentinean side), most specifically, inside the reservation area of the park. The first part of the trip involves 4km of 4WD open roof transportation through the Yacaratia trail (closed for the general public). During this journey, several interpretation stops and walks take place. During these stops, passengers are instructed and introduce to the subtropical ecosystem, by a specialized guide. After this segment is completed an 880m trekking trough the Macuco Trail will take place. This trail leads to the Arrechea Fall, where visitors can refresh themselves in a natural pool formed by erosion at the base of the fall. At this paradisiacal spot passengers are given time to refresh and have a snack, after witch, they are driven back to the visitors center.

FLOATING At all times the passengers are instructed and introduce to the subtropical ecosystem, by a specialized guide. Duration: 2 hs. Difficulty: Low.

hese trip starts at the Devil’s Throat walking trail. Once there, passengers’ boards a semi rigid raft so as to, quietly, navigate down river through the delta of the Upper Iguazu River, appreciating the local varieties of birds, vegetation and wildlife. This is an excellent opportunity to fully comprehend the subtropical forest and it’s fragile ecosystem. This floating is highly recommended for those who would like a closer interaction with the area. Once the floating has come to an end, on the way back they will enjoy an off road trip in 4WD transports, as the go down river by the shores of the Iguazu River. Passenger will be drop off at the visitors center of the park.

LA ARIPUCA La Aripuca es una construcción única realizada con troncos de árboles nativos y que imita uno de los elementos de caza utilizados por los indios guaraníes en la selva. Los comensales serán recogidos del hotel donde se encuentran hospedados. Con vehículos 4x4 serán conducidos por la Ruta Nacional Nº 12 hasta Puerto Península, lugar donde comienza una travesía por la selva de aproximadamente 45 minutos, llegando a La Aripuca entrando la noche. Al arribo serán conducidos por un camino de antorchas hasta una enorme fogata, donde el Coro Aborigen Fortín M´bororé presentará canciones y danzas ancestrales. Serviremos simultáneamente bebidas, canapés y chipas. Finalizada la misma, los niños entregarán a cada uno de los invitados el ¨collar de la buena suerte¨. En ese momento,

se encenderán las luces que harán visible La Aripuca (hasta ese momento a oscuras) provocando la sorpresa de los comensales. Luego serán acompañados por un grupo chamamecero hasta el lugar para la cena.



En horario a combinar salimos del hotel con destino a Puerto Península. En vehículos 4x4 especialmente preparados realizaremos un trayecto de 45 minutos en plena selva hasta llegar al lugar del almuerzo. Unos metros antes de llegar al ranch los pasajeros descienden y realizando trekking los invitamos a encaminarnos hacia el ranch (este trayecto también se puede realizar haciendo cabalgata). Al llegar al lugar con música folclórica los recibiremos con mozos vestidos de gauchos que les servirán una entrada de platos típicos.Luego de 25 minutos ingresarán al ranch donde se les servirá el almuerzo con un nivel 5 estrellas. A los postres, se pueden realizar juegos recreativos o bien con Disk Jockey organizar el baile. El almuerzo será amenizado con música típica. En la decoración del lugar predominarán paja y arpillera,

plantas autóctonas, tacuaras y hojas de palmera. Todo el evento será asistido en forma permanente por personal especializado y vehículos de apoyo.

Sol Iguazú se hará cargo de todo el montaje operativo, tal como el traslado de personal, mesas, sillas, vajilla y mantelería, equipos de frío y freezers, equipos de sonorización, etc.

LA ARIPUCA The “Aripuca” is a unique construction built out with native giant trees. This construction imitates an Indian trap used by the “Guaranies” for hunting in the jungle. Visitors will be picked up at their hotels by 4WD pick ups and transported to port “Peninsula” were a 45min jungle safari starts, reaching the “Aripuca” by the fall of the night. A walking trail illuminated by torches will lead their way to the great fire that has been set up at the amphitheater, were they will be welcomed by the Aboriginal chorus “M’borere”. Meanwhile typical dances and tunes are performed, beverages couches and “chipas” will be served. After the welcome is over, the younger members of the tribe will offer visitors the lucky neck let. The lights will

go on, fully illuminating the majestic construction. A folkloric group will invite the visitors into the dinning room.

At the prearregned hour, visitors will be picked up at their hotels by 4WD pick-ups and transported to port “Peninsula” were a 45min jungle safari takes place. After this safari they will be invited to do some trekking o horse riding till reaching the ranch. Once at the ranch they will be welcome with folkloric music and all of the ranch personnel will be wearing traditional “Gaucho” clothing. A traditional snack will be offered at this time. After these snack they will be invite to enter the dinning room were a 5* main plate will be served. For dessert time, recreational activities can take place or a dancing ball could be arranged. During lunchtime, folk music will be played. The event will

be supervised at all times by our support team.

EVENTOS & CONGRESOS CENA EN

LA SELVA La cena se realizará en la Reserva Forestal de Puerto Península: 14.000 hectáreas de selva nativa, y en un claro de la selva se arma el evento. El armado va desde el piso, con una plataforma que cubre la superficie donde se desarrolla la cena. DESCRIPCIÓN DEL SERVICIO: En el horario a coordinar (sugerimos al atardecer y antes de entrada la noche), salimos del hotel con destino a Puerto Península en los vehículos 4x4, con capacidad para 4 y 6 personas cada uno. Este es el único medio que podemos utilizar para llegar al lugar dadas las condiciones del terreno. Luego de aproximadamente 45 minutos, llegaremos al sitio preparado para el evento, donde estarán encendidas las antorchas del área para servir el cocktail. Con la música de

los chamameceros, recibimos a los invitados con bandejas de canapés y champagne.

Chamamecero y finalizando con un mix de composiciones sumado a los CD del Disck Jockey.

Luego de 20 minutos de cocktail, invitamos a los pasajeros a encaminarnos hacia el lugar de la cena, el cual permanecerá a oscuras hasta el arribo de los mismos. Marcaremos el sendero con luces de las antorchas que se irán encendiendo paulatinamente a medida que avanzamos.

Finalizada la cena, los postres, la sobremesa y el baile, se emprende el regreso al hotel en los mismos vehículos 4x4 que utilizamos para llegar al lugar.

En el momento indicado conectamos el generador (que será enterrado a unos metros del lugar), y se iluminará todo el lugar donde será servida la cena, causando impacto a los invitados. Seguidamente los mozos se encargarán del servicio de la cena con nivel cinco tenedores. Durante la cena un conjunto deleitará a los comensales con música Latinoamericana, continuando con el Show de Arpas y Guitarras, el Grupo

Lugar 2, Tercer descanso en la pasarela de Garganta del Diablo. Este lugar se reserva solo para noches de luna llena con grupos cerrados.

Área 2 Lugar 1, Balcón del Salto Dos Hermanas, Paseo Inferior. Lugar 2, Balcón Paseo Inferior frente a Isla San Martín. Lugar 3, Balcón Paseo Superior, Vistas panorámicas. Lugar 4, Balcón Paseo Superior, Vista selva. Área 3 Lugar 1, Primer descanso en la pasarela de Garganta del Diablo. Los eventos (coktails y welcome drinks) propuestos para estos lugares no superan los 30 minutos y son para grupos de hasta 50 personas.
