Given the extensive efforts of Cebu Technological University (CTU) to produce quality research outputs, Cebu Technological University-San Francisco Campus shall be responsible for building an excellent research culture within the campus. With constant communication and exemplary collaboration among its offices and colleges, the following can be considered the BEST PRACTICES of the CTU-San Francisco campus and the BSEd-Math program in terms of research: 1. Utilization of the Research and Development Site for Welldocumented Research Activities, Programs, and Development. Research-related activities, programs, notices, forms, etc., are welldocumented and can easily be accessed by students, staff, faculty, and the community through its Research and Development Site.

The R and D site is not only for documentation and filing but also for sending concerns and updates of the R and D activities and receiving research-related documents from students, faculty, and staff. This makes it easier for the R and D office to consistently and simply track, collect, and document the progress of the students, faculty, and staff in terms of research. On the other hand, faculty, staff, and students can easily, quickly, and frequently report their progress to the R and D office. 2. Well-guided Students on the Conduct of Research Projects Through the Utilization of the Undergraduate Student Research Handbook. The approved Handbook for Undergraduate Research provides students with a comprehensive guide to conducting research, from identifying the research agenda to crafting the final research outputs that follow the required research paper format. Before constructing the proposal and doing the research project, students are oriented by their research course professors about the usage of the handbook, which includes the forms to be utilized and requirements ensuring the quality of the research works.

3. Well-oriented Students, Staff, and Faculty on the Ethical Considerations When Conducting Research. Promoting ethical research practices is one of the primary responses of CTU-San Francisco to concerns about research integrity. Strategies include the development of procedures and policies to handle misconduct accusations, as well as training and orientations in ethical research practices. CTU-San Francisco believes that examining best practices in research demonstrates that supporting these techniques is essential to both ethically sound research and sound research itself.

4. Active Local Research and Development Council. To ensure the quality of the research proposals prepared by the faculty and staff, the campus has its Local Research and Development Council that will evaluate the research proposals before submitting them to the funding agencies. This strategy has proven effective since we have acquired numerous internally and externally funded research projects in which the BSEd-Math faculty members are involved.

5. Active Involvement of the BSEd-Math Faculty Members in Research Activities. The BSEd-Math faculty members are researchoriented; thus, 93% are with internally and externally funded projects and publications.

6. Strong R and D Support System for the Faculty, Staff, and Students. The Research and Development office and the Colleges support research endeavors by providing Research Assistants for each project, materials, workspaces, facilities, publications support, and presentations. This is done to encourage faculty, staff, and students to do and be active in research. Assigned Research Assistant per project
