Bethesda-Chevy Chase Cluster Middle Schools Boundary Study Follow-up Information on Options and Articulations March 17, 2016 All options provide for 100% straight articulation from elementary school to middle school for Bethesda ES, Rock Creek Forest ES, Somerset ES and Westbrook ES. Following is articulation information for options that affect Rosemary Hills, Chevy Chase and North Chevy Chase elementary schools. Options #1 and #6:  Results in 100% articulation of students from Chevy Chase ES and North Chevy Chase ES to B-CC MS #2. o Students in all three of the geographic areas of Rosemary Hills, Chevy Chase, and North Chevy Chase attend B-CC MS #2. Option #2:  Results in 72% of Chevy Chase ES students (approximately 112 students) articulating to B-CC MS #2 and 28% (approximately 44 students) articulating to Westland MS. o The students articulating to B-CC MS #2 are the students residing in the Chevy Chase geographic area. The students articulating to Westland MS are the students residing in the portion of the Rosemary Hills geographic area that articulates to Chevy Chase ES. 

Results in 62% of North Chevy Chase ES students (approximately 73 students) articulating to B-CC MS #2 and 38% (approximately 45 students) articulating to Westland MS. o The students articulating to B-CC MS #2 are students residing in the North Chevy Chase geographic area. The students articulating to Westland MS are the students residing in the portion of the Rosemary Hills geographic area that articulates to North Chevy Chase ES.

Option #3:  Results in 100% of Chevy Chase ES students articulating to Westland MS. o The students articulating to Westland MS are students residing in the Chevy Chase geographic area and the students in the portion of the Rosemary Hills geographic area that articulates to Chevy Chase ES. 

Results in 100% of North Chevy Chase ES students articulating to B-CC MS #2. o The students articulating to B-CC MS #2 are students residing in the North Chevy Chase geographic area and students residing in the portion of the Rosemary Hills geographic area that articulates to North Chevy Chase ES. 1 

 

Options #4 and #5:  Results in 72% of Chevy Chase ES students (approximately 112students) articulating to Westland MS and 28% (approximately 44 students) articulating to B-CC MS #2. o The students articulating to Westland MS are the students residing in the Chevy Chase geographic area. The students articulating to B-CC MS #2 are the students residing in the portion of the Rosemary Hills geographic area that articulates to Chevy Chase ES. 

Results in 100% of North Chevy Chase ES students articulating to B-CC MS #2. o The students articulating to B-CC MS #2 are the students residing in the North Chevy Chase geographic area and students residing in the portion of the Rosemary Hills geographic area that articulates to North Chevy Chase ES.
