嘉宾们，评审们，以及观众朋友们，大家晚上好。
Good evening I bid to all the honourable guests, judges, and audience.
首先，我谨此代表理工中华文化协会以最真诚的心欢迎诸位拨冗参与本 年度的 K-Dream UEDance Competition。由于新冠疫情逐渐好转，今年我们又 很荣幸的获得校方的准许筹办这次的比赛。 虽然如此，我希望大家都能照顾自 身的安全，戴好口罩，时常准备好防务措施，减少自身感染新冠的风险。因上 一届的筹备所搜取的经验，本届的舞蹈比赛的筹备过程进行的比前一届的顺 利，筹委们还是尽了自己最大的努力让这次的舞蹈比赛得以顺利进行。我相信 这会是大家一起合作策划比赛的点点滴滴，也将会是彼此之间难忘的回忆。 理工华协舞蹈组在过去的日子里一直收到热爱舞蹈的学生们的欢迎。然 而由于疫情的好转，今年所有的活动一度转回实体模式进行，舞蹈组的各位委 员再次面对新的挑战，但大家都没有被这些经历打倒，反而越战越勇，在疫情 好转后便以更强大的阵容与大家见面。相信大家都很期待接下来的表演吧！我 相信，凭借他们积累的经验，今年的活动必定会比去年更加成功。 这次的比赛成功召集了超过20组全马各地优秀的舞者参赛，确实是值得 嘉许的。作为理大工程系分院中华文化协会的顾问老师，我很高兴可以看到筹 委们积极地筹办这次比赛，让大家知道我们理大工程系分院有不同的面貌，也 希望这次的比赛可以让大家留下一个美好的印象。 最后，我想感激华协舞蹈组的筹委们，感谢大家的努力配合，忙于课业 之余也要抽出宝贵的时间来筹备这次的舞蹈比赛，从零开始地把计划一一完 成。我相信在过去的半年里，筹委们都奉献了自己的心血， 经过了重重波折， 披荆斩棘只为让此次的舞蹈比赛得以顺利进行。筹委们不畏艰辛，尽心竭力地 付出，我非常感动，也希望这份感动可以传达到莅临此次舞蹈比赛的每一位， 祝福各位学生在未来的路上，扬帆起航，奋勇前进，也希望在座的每一位观众 敬请期待参赛者们带来的精湛演出，感受到K-Pop舞蹈的魅力，谢谢大家。

On behalf of the Persatuan Bahasa Tiong Hua USM Engineering Campus, I would like to extend my warmest welcome and honour to the leaders, honourable guests, and friends from across campus and beyond who were able to attend this competition regardless of their busy schedules! Also, I would like to extend my sincere greetings and heartfelt thanks on behalf of the competition's organizing committee to all who have worked so hard to prepare for this competition, to the contestants who are actively preparing to participate, as well as to the teacher advisors who have supported and cared about the UEDance Club! I will now resume in Mandarin to further express my speech.
理工中华文化华协舞蹈组一直深受大家喜爱，举办的活动一直都是座无虚 席。所以，组委会们也借这个平台，举办了这次韩风舞蹈比赛，让喜欢舞蹈的大 家能借此机会互相切磋与交流，也让今天的所有参与者享受一个视觉盛宴。非常 感谢本次活动筹委会的真诚奉献与不懈努力，成功地举办了今晚的活动。 除了今晚的参赛者以及筹委会，还要感谢本次活动的赞助商，感谢你们对 今晚活动的支持，没有你们，今晚的活动也无法顺利举办。希望在未来还能得到 大家对本会活动的支持。你们的慷慨我们将铭记于心。 今晚的比赛聚集了来自西马各地的舞蹈爱好者，他们将为大家呈现最好的 表演。各位参赛者今天能站在舞台上，除了天赋，更多的是坚持不懈的努力。希 望大家不要吝啬你们的掌声，在演出前后给予最热烈的掌声与欢呼，不要让气氛 降温！ 相信今晚的表演会让大家留下深刻的印象。让我们一起来欣赏每支队伍带 来的精彩舞蹈吧！

Prof. Dr Yeoh Fei Yee, judges, participants and audiences. A very warm welcome to everyone to our event, K-DREAM UEDANCE COMPETITION. I'm Loke Zhi Yann, the president of the USM Engineering Campus Dance Club (UED). Before we kick start today's event, I would like to thank the school authorities and Persatuan Bahasa Tiong Hua for supporting our event as well as our event sponsors. In addition, special thanks to the three judges, participants, and audiences who took the time to attend our event today, and thank you to the dancers of UED for preparing a fantastic opening performance for us. Let me give you all a brief introduction to K-DREAM UEDANCE COMPETITION. Here we have 24 groups of participants throughout West Malaysia. As a result of their enthusiasm for K-POP, they gathered together here to perform the hard work that they had been preparing for the past few months. This competition is meant to showcase the talents of the participants as well as to provide an opportunity for them to gain confidence in performing in public. Furthermore, tonight’s event was planned and assisted by all our event committees and also the helpers. I am proud to see everyone’s spirit, stay up late day and night, do things together, laugh together, and prepare for the event together. I believe that tonight’s event would not have been possible without teamwork. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the committee members who contributed immensely. Thank you for your active preparations for the event, countless meetings and rehearsals, and your hard work and sweat. Please give warm applause to all the committee members! I hope that the entire committee can continue to carry forward the spirit of unity and continue to promote the values of UED. We eagerly welcome everyone to show your love and support as well as to give us the confidence and motivation to organize more amazing activities for you in the near future. INTRODUCTION 韩风舞蹈比赛是由理科大学工程系分院舞 蹈组所举办。此舞蹈比赛是没有年龄限制且公 开给来自全国各地的寒风舞蹈爱好者参加。比 赛以组队进行。主要目的是为了发掘更多的舞 蹈人才。希望通过此比赛，参赛者能提高自身 的舞蹈能力，现场发挥能力及团队之间的默 契，也让观众被他们的热情和努力所感染，以 便在日后更大型的舞蹈赛之前上能够展现自身 和团队的超高舞蹈水平。
The K-Dream UEDance Competition is organised by the USM Engineering Dance Club (UED). This competition is group-based participation opened to the public of all age groups. The main purpose is to discover the dance talents of the youth. Through this competition, the contestants can improve their dance skills, the ability to perform onstage, and the tacit relationship between the teams. Additionally, this competition enables the dance group to show their skills on a bigger stage in the future.

MISSION 韩风舞蹈比赛是个比赛以激发青少年对 有兴趣的事物应勇于尝试、培养青少年的团 队精神及现场表演能力与提供青少年一个舞 蹈平台，让他们拥有互相切磋的机会。
K-Dream UEDance Competition is an event that strives to expand Korean pop culture (K-POP) among the youth and enjoy the beauty of K-POP, empower the youth and challenge themselves with their interests, cultivate youth’s team spirit and live performance ability, and provide a platform to learn from each other.

ABOUT UED USM Eng.PBT Dance Club (UED) is a club branch under the advisory of Persatuan Bahasa Tiong Hua (PBT), USM Engineering Campus. PBT was founded in the year 1989 and legally recognised in 2007. This organisation aims to pass down the culture of our Chinese society to university students and the public. UED gathers an assortment of choreographing genres, including hip-hop, contemporary dance, Chinese traditional dance, K-POP, etc. We also frequently organise activities and dance lessons, providing a platform for university students to seek and learn new skills. The main objectives of USM Eng.PBT Dance Club are To excavate the dance talent of the students To provide a way to improve strength and flexibility To provide a platform to enhance body coordination, allowing a more fluid body movement To develop insight into different cultures, by performing various dance styles and by meeting new friends.
