Letter from the CEO I want to start off by thanking you for your hard work and dedication to CAMP over the last few months. I am extremely proud and honored to be part of this team. Everything you have done, and continue to do, has set us up for a record first quarter, and a record year.

We must stay as focused, diligent, and disciplined for the rest of the year as we have begun, because as the saying goes, “it’s not how you start, but rather how you finish.”

We continue to strategically develop our team. We have brought in some external talent, but we have also promoted a number of people from within - something I am very proud of. We have an upgraded National Account Manager team made up of Cam Bruckman, Jared Adams, Jim Martensen and Chris Townsend, led by David Hodge. We are extremely excited by these internal promotions and the energy these individuals will bring to our clients and the Three-Phase Growth Plan laid out at the State of Camp earlier this year. We are also continuing to hire new Local Account Managers to create stronger connections at the local property level. Together we are setting up our Sales Team for continued growth and success to all our lines of business. Additionally, we have promoted some great Operations team members and hired some extraordinary talent outside the company to fill seats as GMs in locations that needed new leadership. These roles are critical to the financial success of our organization, and I ask that we all step up and ensure they are brought up to speed so their locations can gain traction and be successful quickly. A few large clients have recently told me they’ve seen a big improvement in CAMP’s operational capabilities. We have proven ourselves in the outstanding work done by those involved in this winter’s freeze. And we have also generally improved being on time with bids and projects as well as improved how we communicate with our clients. That’s a recipe for success! I will wrap up by sharing how I feel CAMP is positioned for remarkable success. To continue growing Camp, we must continuously evolve as an organization. Some of the exciting changes coming over the next three months include leveraging data to make better decisions, process improvements to operate efficiently, ensuring our clients are more aware of the breadth of our capabilities and selling and producing more mitigation and service work. Sometimes change can be uncomfortable, but with everyone at this great company driving forward together we will be unstoppable.

Thank you once again for all that you do and keep living the values!

for better health

Let Good Nutrition Fuel Your Future March is National Nutrition Month, and what better way to celebrate than by trying out some new good nutrition habits? And if you find one you like, see if you can make it stick! Here are a few things to try:

SPICE THINGS UP: Try some new herbs or spices in the meals you normally eat to bring out new and different flavors. Try a fruit or vegetable you’ve never eaten each week this month.

GET EVERYONE INVOLVED: Ask the people you share meals with to help with meal planning this month, and let them suggest some new recipes. Have everyone help with food preparation — even young kids can learn some cooking basics! If your own skills could use some polishing, check out some tutorials online.

GIVE SUSTAINABILITY A SPIN: Find out what food recovery efforts exist in your community. Try increasing the number of meatless meals you eat — beans, peas, lentils and quinoa are all good sources of plant-based protein that work in a variety of cuisines. If you’re looking for more ways to take care of yourself, check out the National Sleep Foundation’s Sleep Health Blog for loads of information on the importance of healthy sleep and how to get more of it.
