2014 Parent Information Letter Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s): Fort Bend County Precinct 3 will soon be exhibiting essays and art for the 1st Annual FBC Precinct 3 Literary and Fine Arts Festival and Parade held at the Cinco Ranch Branch Library in celebration of 10 years of service to our community. Student work from grade levels K-12 will represent their campuses. The purpose of the FBC Precinct 3 Literary and Fine Arts Festival and Parade is to showcase some of the best of Fort Bend County's Literary and Fine Arts students in a

quality exhibit and to provide students the opportunity to receive recognition and awards in the area of writing composition and visual arts.

Student essays and artwork will be evaluated by a panel of judges consisting of certified educators and trained professionals in the fields of language arts and visual arts. The student entries will be

exhibited at the library during the event. If your child chooses to participate and you are willing to allow their essay to be included, please complete the attached permission form and promptly return it to your child's teacher. Commissioner Andy Meyers and Fort Bend County Libraries are very excited about the prospects for our Ist Annual FBC Precinct 3 Literary and Fine Arts Festival and Parade. Open House will be

held on Friday, April 4, 2014, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Cinco Ranch Branch Library, 2620 Commercial Center Blvd. Katy, Texas 77494, for you to view the exhibits. Thank you for your support and cooperation. You can contact your campus art teacher for further assistance.
