The Impact Digital Environment on Human Health in Terms of Psychology The digital environment has both benefits and harms. As benefits, it allows us to easily access information. It makes easily accessible with a few keystrokes without going to the library or leaving home and trying to access information in a remote place. Communicating with people on the other side of the world is another important benefit. When we want to see or hear someone's voice living in a far place , when we miss her or him , we have the opportunity to call and talk to her or him immediately.It saves time and cost. Since we have the opportunity to do most of our work online, we have more time to do more things without wasting our time. And while digital environment has many benefits like this, it should not be forgotten that it also has harms too. In this article, I will talk about the effect of digital environment on human psychology. Social media, online games and many applications in the digital environment have left a great impact on the psychology of people in their lives. spending too much time in front of the screen has even started to distance people living in the same house from each other. Family relations and bonds have weakened, and the values that keep people together have begun to be forgotten. It has become common to prefer to spend the time that can be used by creating bonds within the family, enjoying the lives of others. Perhaps, productive time would be wasted by following the lives of lesser-known people who would not care if they met on the road. As production decreases, consumption increases, things that are not needed could be ordered easily over the internet. Real-life experiences were restricted, screen time limited creativity, problem-solving skills, and emotional intelligence development. Some experts interpret this as robotization . The dynamics in social relations are based on dynamics such as making the posts liked, commenting and trying to make the most interesting post. As this situation creates a virtual satisfaction, over time, people begin to feel the need for real relationships and real support, and the feeling of loneliness increases.

Using the freedom of not being seen on the screen creates a comfort zone, some people who could not find this comfort in the real world are prone to have problems with self-confidence and assertive behavior. We have the chance to create an idealized identity in life, sometimes virtual fictions are created to share a beautiful life. Referring to the happy posts of the people followed, they feel inadequate with what others have and what he does not have. Researchers say that in general, people who spend time in front of a screen perform less well in environments where success is measured, such as school, and they feel more unhappy We have a powerful resource and technology right now. We are familiar with the approach of less decision, most harm in many things we consume, such as coffee. At least, those who learn to show this will have a more balanced and happy life.
