Nestled on the corner of Stamford and Coin Street just a stone’s throw from bustling South Bank, Waterloo and Blackfriars Stations, Sticky Mango is one of London’s best kept secrets.

Chef owner Peter Lloyd has infused modernity into traditional South-East Asian cuisine, offering an explosion of flavours that excites the taste buds, the perfect gourmet experience for group bookings, private dining and events at any time of year or for any occasion.

The Blossom Tree Room

OUR VENUE Spread over three unique floors, Sticky Mango is spread across a historic townhouse split into several elegant rooms boasting intimate spots for both private dining and spectacular events.

Guests will step into South-East Asia, cocooned by glistening birdcage chandeliers, authentic Asian artwork, stunning blossom flower trees and floorto-ceiling silk wallpaper bursting with exotic creatures.

Sticky Mango is designed to give guests a different experience every time they visit, each dining space has its own individual character and style. Decorated with gorgeous Osborne & Little silk wallpaper featuring a cascading trail of beautiful orchid flowers and hummingbirds.

Each space has suspended florals depicting a world far away from the streets of London. Whether it’s a dinner to impress colleagues or clients, simply catching up with friends or family, there’s something for everyone at Sticky Mango.

OUR FOUNDER Having trained at The House of Commons and the Dorchester Hotel, Peter Lloyd secured his first Head Chef position at RSJ Restaurant, where he was awarded two AA Rosettes.

Over the past 25 years, Peter has perfected his own take on South-East Asian cuisine, which he initially discovered while working as Executive Chef at the five-star Sanderson Hotel and Suka Restaurant with his finishing school The W Hotel’s Spice Market.

After a series of prestigious roles, Peter was invited to open his own restaurant on the first floor of RSJ in 2016 where Sticky Mango was born. Today the acclaimed restaurant is the proud owner of the “Best Fusion Restaurant” 2019 Golden Chopsticks award and has been the subject of rapturous write ups by legendary critics including the Evening Standard’s Faye Maschler and The Times’ Giles Coren.

Chef Patron Peter Lloyd regularly travels abroad to immerse himself in new styles of cookery and in 2021 was exclusively invited to oversee the Shanghai Club at the JW Marriot in Doha where he remains Executive Consultant.

Peter has also popped-up on numerous TV shows over the past five years, including James Martin Saturday Morning, Saturday Kitchen, BBC Celebrity MasterChef and Junior Bake Off.

THE ORCHID ROOM & TERRACE

Take a seat in The Orchid Room & Terrace on the ground floor, a stunning private dining space featuring a separate entrance and outdoor terrace. The space is accessible via Stamford Street.

The room gets its name from the eye-catching silk wallpaper featuring white orchids and the cascading trail of beautiful orchid flowers hanging from the ceiling.

During the day, natural light floods the room, perfect for business meetings and working lunches. By night, the space can be transformed for drinks receptions or for luxury private dining .

THE COPPER BLOSSOM ROOM & BAR On the lower ground floor, The Copper Blossom Room & Bar is a secluded, softly-lit intimate space with a private bar.

The dark and moody bar, straight out of a 1920s speakeasy, is a bold and stylish choice for the kind of drinks receptions where fun is top of the menu. Hidden behind a set of elegant curtains, the private dining room offers extra drama.

The Copper Blossom Room & Bar can be booked separately or together. Ideal for pre-dinner drinks followed by private dining for smaller groups or staggered seating for larger groups.

Set on the top floor of Sticky Mango, The Blossom Tree Room reflects the same dazzling design and attention to detail as the rest of the venue.

There is plenty of natural daylight beaming off the mirrored walls, scattered bamboo trees and traditional Balinese touches.

The Blossom Tree Room comes alive with its instagrammable pink cherry blossom tree taking centre stage. Yet when the food is served, each dish is guaranteed to command guests’ attention.
