NEWSLETTER NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE April - June2021 On 2nd April 2021, the International Affairs Office together with the Chinese Program and Assistant Professor Malinee Phaiboonnugulkij, Ph. D., the Deputy Dean for Academic and International Affairs, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, attended a meeting to discuss the possibility of arranging a course with universities in China. The meeting aimed to improve on the Chinese Curriculum for the 2022 academic year. NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE April - June2021 April - June2021 On 26th April 2021, the International Affairs Office led by Assistant Professor Arnut Jaisamrarn, Ph. D., the Vice President for Special and International Affairs, along with Miss Jiraporn Pasaja, the Head of the Chinese Curriculum and the faculty members from the Chinese Curriculum attended a meeting to discuss the possibility of jointly pushing for the establishment of a Confucius Institute at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University together with Sanda University in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. The event was honored by the NRRU Vice President and Professor Jianhua Fan, the Dean of the Faculty of Education along with faculty members from the Faculty of Education at Sanda University who discussed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities. NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE April - June2021 April - June2021 Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University discussed opportunities for academic cooperation online with a Chinese university 3 On 27th April 2021, the International Affairs Office led by Assistant Professor Arnut Jaisamrarn, Ph. D., the Vice President for Special and International Affairs, along with the Director of the Petrified Wood Research Institute, the Head of the Tourism Industry Curriculum and the faculty members from the Geoinformatics Curriculum attended a meeting to discuss the possibility of conducting academic cooperation activities with East China University of Technology (ECUT), Jiangxi, People's Republic of China. The event was also honored by Mr. Yang Bo, the Vice President of ECUT, along with the faculty members and geologists. The content of the meeting was focused on student exchange to enable students to gain professional experience, staff exchange, arrangement of online teaching, co-curricular arrangements in Geotoursim and research exchange. During the meeting a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two universities.


NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE April - June2021 April - June A Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University 2021 student was selected in the US exchange student scholarship competition 4 May 2021 The International Affairs Office would like to congratulate Miss Jinjutha Sriwicha, a 3rd year student from the Bachelor of Arts in English Program, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences who was selected in the interview round and was nominated for the 2021 - 2022 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program competition. The student has to prepare to pass the TOEFL iBT test to gain entry to the exchange program in January 2022. Upon successful completion of the exam, she will be officially confirmed to participate in the exchange program later.


NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE April - June2021 April - June The International Affairs Office traveled to send 2021 the Royal Scholarship students who graduated back to Cambodia 5 On 3rd May 2021, the International Affairs Office traveled to send 4 Cambodian students who graduated from Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University in the 2020 academic year as part of the Royal Scholarship under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Education Project to the Kingdom of Cambodia back to Cambodia. They returned to Cambodia together with 4 Royal Scholarship students from Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, 6 students from Maha Sarakham University, and 2 students from Buriram Rajabhat University. The coordinating team of the Royal Scholarship Project requested help from the Governor of Sa Kaeo Province, the Consul - General of Cambodia in Sa Kaeo Province and the Head of the Thai - Cambodian Border Liaison Office to facilitate the border crossing at the Ban Khlong Luek Border Crossing Point, Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaeo Province. After the Royal Scholarship students arrived in Cambodia, they had to quarantine for 14 days in Banteay Meanchey Province according to the measures to control the Covid-19 in Cambodia.


NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE April - June2021 April - June2021 The International Affairs Office attended a meeting to discuss cooperation activities with Taiwanese Universities 6 On 17th May 2021, the International Affairs Office, Office of the President attended a meeting with National Pingtung University (NPTU), Taiwan to discuss the implementation of joint cooperation activities. In addition, discussions also included network universities in ASEAN countries, such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and other universities in Thailand.


NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS OFFICE April - June2021 April - June A Royal Scholarship student from Cambodia 2021 arrived at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University to study 7 June 2021 On 8th June 2021, Miss Sreyna Hon, a student of the Royal Scholarship under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Education Project to the Kingdom of Cambodia met with the Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University President and the Vice President for Special and International Affairs to introduce herself, listen to the welcoming speech and received an orientation from the International Affairs Office staff. The Royal Scholarship student will study in Food Science and Technology Program in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University for a period of 4 years.

D., the Vice President for University Council, Special and International Affairs, along with Miss Donlaya Petchdee, the Acting Director of the International Affairs Office and Miss Kanlayanee Intarapanich, an International Affairs Officer, attended a meeting with representatives from each institution which accepts scholarship students. The meeting aimed to discuss the guidelines to manage the Royal Scholarship under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Education Project to the Kingdom of Cambodia online via Zoom Cloud Meetings during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the meeting, there was a report on the Royal Scholarship Project and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as guidelines to manage the Royal Scholarship Project in education.
