The registered participants for the Mille Miglia 2016 come from 40 different Countries, from all continents. Of the 1.330 members of the 665 crews and cars registered, the nationalities of 227 persons is not known, since their identity had not been communicated at the time of going to print. In some cases, these are the vehicle crews registered by car manufacturers who wait until the last minute before publishing the names of the occupants; in other cases, for privacy or security reasons, the names will remain covered by an "X" also during the race. MILLE MIGLIA 2016 ACCEPTED DRIVERS The crews that will participate in the Mille Miglia 2016 will be 430 plus 10 from the Military Category, making a total of 880 people. Of the total of 440 crews expected, three places must still be assigned.

The vehicles which will take part in the Mille Miglia 2016 will be 430 plus 10 from the Military Category. Of the total of 440 motor vehicles expected, two places must still be assigned . There are 127 crews on the waiting list, ready to replace any defections. Should a vehicle need to be replaced, it will be replaced by another which is as similar as possible.
