Miller House Do Care Visiting Program Welcome to Do Care 2023. Let this year be the year where volunteers jump out of the woodwork; where new friendships are made through being matched with a Do Care volunteer; where people’s lives are enhanced by having a Do Care visitor; where people are feeling more involved in the community through the Do Care Program; where the Do Care participants and volunteers become more involved with the Miller House Events. One of the things on the planning board for this year is to have Do Care Volunteer Morning/Afternoon teas to allow us all to touch base with each other, to realise you are not on your own in the volunteering world, to share ideas, to gather ideas, to be encouraged and supported. I would really like to encourage each and every one of you to attend these get-togethers Let me reintroduce Jenna—Volunteer Coordinator and myself to you. I realise some of you haven’t had the privilege of meeting Jenna yet. Please do so. We don’t get the opportunity too often to see each other face to face, so here we are. Jenna on the left, and Susan on the right. Kind regards, Susan Hampshire Do Care Program Facilitator.
