2. Welcome the kids and introduce yourself as the Adventure Guide! Our Series for December is “A Figgy Pudding Christmas.” Each week we will think about a Christmas Treat - sometimes yummy, sometimes not to help us learn important truths about the meaning of Christmas.

3. Adventure Guide Reads  Say> Lets Play Candy Cane Twirl Say> We need 1 candy cane per player. Say> When I say go, you will hook a candy cane onto a finger. and everyone must twirl the candy cane around and around for as long as they can. The person who can twirl it the longest without it falling off is the winner. Say> Ready, Set Go!

1. Have the kids put their hands together in a prayer posture.  God of Love, Your son, Jesus, is your greatest gift to us.  He is a sign of your love. Help us walk in that love during the weeks of Advent, As we wait and prepare for his coming. We pray in the name of Jesus, our Savior. AMEN.

Jesus is the good news that brought great joy to the whole world, so this Christmas, let’s prepare Him room in our heart. Each day this month, and especially before we tear open our presents on Christmas morning, let’s all pray to God and thank Him for giving us the greatest gift ever!













Who knew that what started out as a scary message from the angels could bring such wonderful good news? Remind us that Jesus is close by always so we can stop, look, listen, and go ahead with Christmas joy! Amen.

3. Adventure Guide Reads  Say> Do we recognize this? ”….nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads." It's a familiar image. But what is a sugarplum? Say> Dreams are going to be an import part of the baby Jesus story. Each time you think or hear of sugarplums, think of how God speaks to people through dreams. In today’s Scripture reading, Joseph is listed by an Angel in his dream.
