STORY ABOUT US OUR FACILITIES ABOUT IDEA LAB AICTE has launched a proud scheme for establishing IDEA Labs with huge funding of Rs. 55 Lakh, across India, more than 200 Institutions applied for the same. Poornima Institute of Engineering & Technology is proud to receive this grant and is the only Institute across Rajasthan to achieve these feet. PIET AICTE IDEA lab is working to nurture the ideas and innovation of individuals and give them the platform to explore their creativity. The purpose of IDEA Lab is to provide skills and techniques to the student which can give them a lead to face the challenges of this fast-changing world, otherwise, they will be left behind. To build a successful career, students need to have good technical skills, strong concepts, thinking and application skills, communication skills, creativity, and originality. Here is the list of facilities available to be integrated with IDEA Labs like reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, 3D _ printing, 3D scanning, CNC machines, vinyl cutter machine, laser cutting machine, and many more. 01

OUR MISSION To have Industry oriented Training & skill development and creativity. To increase more innovative practices and creative research trends in all domains to generate more entrepreneurs from the Institution and render to Industry and develop this lab as a small manufacturing unit for the Industries. This lab also emphasizes facilitating Research and Social projects with the Industries & government agencies. This lab also provides an easily approachable Research workspace for Professors and Students to know about the Latest Tech Trends Training and product visualization. With this mission in mind, we will be able to transform the thought of the technocrats which in turn will help to serve society and individuals to achieve more and more milestones.

ABOUT AICTE 03 All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was set up in November 1945 as a_ national-level Apex Advisory Body to conduct a survey on the facilities available for technical education and to promote development in the country in a coordinated and integrated manner. The AICTE is composed of the eGovernance, Approval, Planning and Coordination, Academic, University, Administration, Finance, and Research, Institutional and Faculty Development Bureaus. There are 10 additional Board Studies dealing with the technician, vocational, undergraduate engineering, post-graduate engineering and research, architecture, town and country planning, pharmacy, management, applied arts and crafts, hotel management, and catering technology education. AICTE signs Memorandum of Understanding with Heartfulness Education Trust on making available the students, staff, counselors, and faculties of colleges, institutes, and universities accredited to former of the programs and courses offered by HET IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation, and Application) LAB is an initiative by AICTE for approved institutions with a vision of encouraging students to apply STEM, i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fundamentals towards enhanced hands-on experience, learning by doing, and even product visualization. IDEA LAB can facilitate the students and faculty to engage, explore, experience, express, and excel. 06 The primary goal of the PIET AICTE-IDEA LAB is to serve as a ‘Technology Incubator’ that aims to impart skill development among young minds and support potential ideas with good technological merit. Students should engage in activities, events, and projects according to their interests. The Prime minister's vision of new age learning- by 5E’s such as Engage, Explore, Experience, Express, and Excel can be accomplished through it. IDEA Lab would serve as an infrastructure for faculty to take up and promote multidisciplinary education and research emphasized in the National Education Policy 2020. IDEA LAB word is coined from Innovation Design & Empowerment Applications Lab. Udit Mamodiya (HoD & Coordinator,PIET-AICTE IDEA LAB & Outreach “Technical knowledge is nothing without hands-on practice.” In Engineering, students are highly focused on theoretical knowledge but they are less focused on practical perspective. To overcome this problem AICTE has taken initiative to establish IDEA Lab across the country. This is the platform where students are learning by doing. EVENTS Intending to develop and understand a product and its parts by applying indepth analysis, PIET AICTE IDEA lab has organized a 7 days faculty development program on Reverse Engineering for product design using CAD in association with CADEMATE from September 01-07, 2022 under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Goyal, principal & director PIET and chief mentor PIET - IDEA LAB, Mr. Udit Mamodiya, HOD, PIET AICTE idea lab. 17 FDP On Reverse Eng. For Product Design Using CAD Inter-College Student Awareness Program Scholar Institute of technology & management, Guwahati, Assam visited PIET AICTE Idea Lab. Since the vision of the IDEA lab is to expand knowledge of technologies among all students. Keeping this in mind, PIET AICTE IDEA Lab has organized an "Inter College Students Awareness Program" to provide knowledge about new technologies which provides students with access to countless online resources, encouraging them to carry out research and therefore become more independent. The motive of FDP was to build a product of the original design intent of the working parts, their critical tolerance, the materials used, and any key function within the assembly. In this 7 days program, the faculty was involved in a good strength and found it worth it. The speaker Mr. Ravi Swami addressed the faculty and PIET AICTE IDEA lab first and then gave a brief about Reverse engineering.

By learning about new topics and meeting their field leaders, students feel encouraged and motivated. As before for the betterment of students and giving exposure about industries PIET AICTE IDEA Lab generated this workshop about awareness for industries and their exposures on 12-09-2022. This workshop helped students to gain information about their way of work or how things take place. This program was held on 09 September 2022, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Goyal sir Principal & Director of Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology and Chief mentor of PIET, AICTE IDEA LAB, Mr. Udit Mamodiya HOD Idea lab with the motive of spreading awareness among students with new technologies. IDEA Lab offers various tools & equipment to boost development and exchange information. Both these things are the objective of IT to make tasks easier and to solve many problems. 18 Awareness Workshop for Industry Person Awareness Workshop for Industry person This workshop was organized with the motive of giving brief knowledge to industry people and to give them the exposure with latest tech trends. By learning about new topics and meeting their field leaders, students feel encouraged and motivated. This workshop was conducted in PIET, AICTE Idea lab as AWARENESS WORKSHOP FOR INDUSTRY PERSON on 14-09-2022. This workshop helped them to gain information about their way of work or how things take place. They were curious about their visit and enthusiastically participated in the program.

As we know, the project exhibition are organized to showcase the talents of students which would help them exhibit their skills and project their ideas with peers and industry experts. Our students working and learning at IDEA LAB are curious, innovative, ambitious, and good problem solvers, which leads them to discover new technologies and softwares. They find the most prevalent problems in society, then analyze them and think if it is practically possible, and implemented the idea on the project in hardware and software. Recently some students of IDEA LAB participated in the National-Level Project exhibition organized by Vivekanand Global University and we are proud of our hardworking students. Two teams from IDEA lab was the winner and got the prize money. 19 A National Level Project Exhibition 2k22 Ideation Workshop for Students An Ideation workshop is a safe space that allows for this generation of ideas. Ideation is the creative process of generating new ideas, which can be accomplished through a variety of ideation techniques, such as brainstorming and prototyping.

Keeping this in mind PIET, AICTE IDEA lab has organized a 3 days Ideation workshop from September 21-23, 2022, for the students. A perfect opportunity to explore all sorts of new, unusual, and crazy ideas based on previous research! The main motive of this workshop was to generate awareness about intellectual property rights (IPR) in all sectors, there by furnishing requisite guidance and proficiency about an assortment of procedures of copyright, patent, trademark, and websites which we can use for research of patents. Assignments along with some research work according to the student's interest area was allotted and on the last day, all students got the certificate of appreciation for their work. 20 School Teacher Awareness Program Since the vision of the IDEA lab is to expand knowledge of technologies among students & teachers and not only at the college level but also at the school level. Keeping this in mind, PIET AICTE Idea Lab has organized a "School teacher awareness program" to provide knowledge about new technologies which provides students with access to countless online resources, encouraging them to carry out research and therefore become more independent.

22 This workshop was generated for the college students on October 6-10,2022 to generate self-esteem, confidence, and leadership skills, which will develop problem-solving skills and collaboration. Skill development helped students to reach out of their comfort zone and walk on the path where their career is seen with a clear vision. PIET AICTE IDEA lab has organized a Skill development program for college students on 22 august 2022 to help them think beyond grades. The program was started under the supervision of prof. Outside Participation VGU (Hackathon) • Our students had a great experience working together as a team in 3 days HACKATHON. • The main skills they have learned are teamwork, managing different tasks at the same time, being responsible, and independent, communication skills, presentation of your project, and designing in industries and startups • We are proud that our students reached the final round on day 3 with their hard work and clear vision. Hence the vision they got with the idea of the lab for their career, and the path they opted for their benefit was damn enthusiastic. Weather Reporting System A weather reporting system Based on IoT is a proposed system that allows for weather parameter reporting over the internet. It allows people to directly check the weather stats online without the need for a weather forecasting agency. 24 PROJECTS OF MONTH Motion Captured Device Motion captured device based on IoT is the process of recording the movement of objects orpeople. It is usedin entertainment, sports, medical applications, ergonomics, androbotics. Smart Switch with IoT A smart switch is a programmable wireless switch that connects to a smart home hub and allows users to control their lights using a mobile app, voice assistant, or an automated schedule. Sensor Network in IoT Wireless Sensor Network in IoT is an infrastructure-less wireless network that is used for deploying a large number of wireless sensors that monitor the system and physical and environmental conditions.
