Artificial recharge of ground water is a method in which adding water to aquifer through some different techniques by human efforts for increasing or developing storage in natural recharge system. The surplus water from rain fall or storm water can be directed in to the ground either by spreading or the surface. Using recharge well or altering natural condition to increase infiltration to replenish an aquifer or ground water table. Due to access use of ground water we have to recharge the natural aquifer system by artificial water recharge units. These units can help in water storage and future water demand supply or to reach out water scarcity problems. The rate of percolation water by artificial recharge unit is more than natural percolation rate so using artificial recharge units is beneficiary for water conservation.
