Message from General Manager Town Center Pelican Preserver is extremely excited for what is sure to be a great season and based on our recent activity levels, it is sure to be a busy season! We are so happy to welcome back our seasonal Residents. You may have noticed recent improvements at the Town Center—the new exterior paint, promenade and pool furniture. In November, Residents will see improvements to the outdoor pool and spas when all areas are resurfaced. Stay tuned for more improvements as we move into 2014. Pelican Preserve’s Destinations welcomed Chef Jay Herman to our team who brings a wealth of experience and passion for cooking. Many of you have probably enjoyed some of Chef Jay’s new concepts and dishes that are featured as weekly specials and have been very well received! Jay will introduce a new menu towards the end of November or early December. If you haven’t been to Destinations lately, make a reservation and enjoy the new culinary experience!

Golf Club Pelican Preserve Golf Club has a great season planned ahead as well. Make sure you stop by to see Gee Gee to pick up your copy of the 2013-2014 events calendar. With the recent cooperation of the weather, we are back on track. Make sure to join us at our Breakfast with the Staff scheduled for Monday, November 25 at 8:30am in the Osprey Room.

Employee Holiday Fund Once again, as the holidays approach, Pelican Preserve asks its’ Members and Residents to participate in thanking our dedicated amenity employees for their hard work throughout the year by contributing to the 2013 Employee Holiday Fund. The Holiday Fund provides an extra financial thank you to the people that make our amenities and our community experience the best in Southwest Florida! You should receive a holiday fund contribution letter in your October statement. We will automatically bill you $20 for this fund and you have the option to raise, decrease or request to be removed altogether by simply noting it on the letter and returning it to Debbie Bill at the Town Center and Gee Gee DeLeon at the Golf Club. On behalf of the entire Staff of Pelican Preserve, I’d like to extend a big thank you for your generosity as we approach the holiday season!

From the Administrative Office Security at Pelican Preserve

Million Dollar Quartet

Friday, April 4, 2014 at 8pm - $76 Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 1pm - $69

Million Dollar Quartet is the Tony Award winning Broadway musical, inspired by the electrifying true story of the famed recording session that brought together rock ‘n’ roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. On December 4, 1956, these four young musicians were gathered together by Sam Phillips, the “Father of Rock ’n’ Roll” at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions of all time. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary night to life with an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayal and celebrations featuring timeless hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “That’s All Right,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Matchbox,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Hound Dog” and more. This thrilling musical brings you inside the recording studio with four major talents who came together as a red-hot rock ‘n’ roll band for one unforgettable night. Don’t miss your chance to be a fly on the wall of fame... at Million Dollar Quartet!
