5 Ammonium Nitrate (AN) General data Ammonium nitrate is the most common nitrogen fertilizer for feeding all the kinds of crops with total contents of nitrogen 34%. This is the fastest acting granular nitrogen fertilizer appropriate for all the kinds of feeding. Due to its absorbable form after getting into the soil, it rapidly decomposes and provides the plants with nitrogen food. At the absorption of the ammonium nitrate from the soil, its form changes in due time, this process is easily regulated, taking into consideration the soil-climatic conditions and the time of the input of the product. The tests made by isotopic methods show that from 35 % to 50 % of the nitrogen introduced with the fertilizers are usually used by the plants. About 20–30% of the fertilizer nitrogen is immobilized by the soil micro-organisms. Advantages The agricultural crops dffi er in their needs of nitrogen for the formation of their production. These specific needs and the conditions of their cultivation are the basis for the determination of nitrogen mineral fertilization. The following is observed in case of deficit of nitrogen in plants: • Delayed growth • Initial pale green, yellow-green and even yellow foliage with subsequent browning and dying of the leaves • Low resistance to abiotic and biotic stress • Premature ripening The excessive nitrogen: • Accelerates the growth, the foliage grows up wildly and becomes dark green • The sterile and vegetation period is extended • Excessive nitrates and proteins are accumulated • The plants become unresistant to diseases, frost and drought • The technological qualities and the flavours of the production get deteriorated

7 Urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) General data Urea Ammonium Nitrate has 32% total content of an active substance. It may be applied during the entire vegetation. Due to its specific qualities, it may be applied in pre-sowing feeding, for vegetative application and for corrective feeding. The use of Urea Ammonium Nitrate should be made under precisely defined meteorological conditions and strict observation of the recommended fertilization norms. Advantages • It contains three forms of nitrogen — amide, ammonium and nitrate, which presumes more uniform and continuous release of the active substance and reduces the percentage of denitrification • Significantly lower losses from lift-off even in the absence of optimal moisture due to the insignificant evaporation ensured by its composition and the high specific gravity — the loss of nitrogen is about 30% less compared to the ammonium nitrate and the urea • More uniform and high quality dispersion and faster effect of the fertilization • Maximal use of the active substance even at high temperature without the need of incorporation in the soil • Neutrality with regard to the oxidation of the soil. The urea, which under the influence of the urobacteria in the soil ammonificates to ammonium carbonate causes an alkaline reaction and neutralizes the acid reaction of the nitrate nitrogen • It preserves its qualities regardless of the period of storage; • In case of combined input with herbicides for sealing, up to 20% economy of fuel is realized due to the fact that fertilization with plant protection is combined • Guaranteed safety of use - it is not fire hazardous, explosive or toxic • It may be transported and stored in all the kinds of cisterns and vessels of stainless steel or artificial materials, which are in a good working condition • It may be combined with the measures for plant protection and is compatible for use also in drip irrigation and any types of irrigation systems without clogging the filters and the system components The product has been known and widely used in the agricultural production of the most developed countries in Europe, North and South America for many years. Urea Ammonium Nitrate is the most precise solution for nitrogen feeding. Being appropriate for almost all the kinds of crops, urea ammonium nitrate is a universal solution for modern farmers.

S) is minimal and it can reach up to no more than 10% throughout the vegetation period of the nourished crop. The said feature makes this product the most effective nitrogen fertilizer which may secure the overall nitrogen fertilization and nourishment of your plants. Advantages • It contains three forms of nitrogen – amide, ammonium and nitrate, providing more even and long-term release of the active substance and reducing the denitrification percentage. • Ammonium thiosulphate, used in its production, makes it the most precise method of nitrogen fertilization of all agricultural crops. It retards the nitrification processes, thus achieving a more even release of nitrogen which may continue from 8 to 12 weeks. • Considerably lower waste from volatility even in case of lacking optimal humidity due to insignificant evaporation as a result of its composition formula and high relative weight – nitrogen waste is about 30% less compared to ammonium nitrate and carbamide. • More even and high quality dispersion and faster fertilization e ffect. • Ultimate use of the active substance, even at a high temperature, with no need to be put in the soil. • It preserves its qualities regardless of the storage period. • In case of combined usage with herbicides for sealing, 20% economy of fuel is achieved due to the fact that fertilization is combined with plant protection. • Guaranteed safety when used – it is not flammable, explosive or toxic.

11 Carbamide (Urea) General data Urea is nitrogen fertilizer with high active substance content – 46%. As to composition the chemical formula of the urea is close to the organic formulation of the urea, which also provides for a number of advantages in the mass use for feeding crops. The interaction of the fertilizer with the soil is very different compared to the ammonium nitrate. Upon release of an active substance from the urea, to get to the form most accessible for the plants, the nitrogen passes through the three most significant processes related to its capture and fixation. Some of the processes are purely chemical, others are biological or physical. After urea gets into the soil, it is subject to dissolution from soil moisture, after that a part of it passes through the process of nitrification and nitrate anion (NO -) is obtained, which is food accessible for the plants. Another part of the products gets in the microorganisms and feeds their metabolic processes, a process of ammonification passes after these microorganisms die out, followed again by a process of nitrification by which the nutritional form of the nitrogen is obtained. This determines more uniform course of the processes in which urea gradually delivers its active substance in the soil to the plants. Advantages • The chemical formula of the urea is close in composition to the organic formulation of the urea, which also provides for a number of advantages in the mass use for feeding crops • Urea is the most concentrated nitrogen fertilizer • Due to the high nitrogen concentration, it contributes to lower expenses for transportation, storage, application and increases the labour efficiency

15 Triple Superphosphate (TSP) General data Triple superphosphate is highly concentrated phosphorus fertilizer containing 46% diphosphorus pentoxide ( ). It is appropriate for feeding all the types of soils which haveрН within the limits of weakly acidic to alkaline medium. The time periods during which the triple superphosphate is applied are predominantly as stocking autumn fertilization, as it is a slowly acting fertilizer. The gradual release of the active substance is due to the technology of production itself and the fact that the basic raw materials are phosphorus ores. They determine the content of various forms of phosphorus in the product. Certain conditions of the medium are required for the decomposition of phosphorus in the soil to forms, which are easily absorbable by the plants. Water-soluble phosphorus is the most accessible for the crops and the remaining forms contained in it must pass through various processes to reach these forms. Due to the water-soluble phosphorus, in which the phosphorus in the fertilizer is connected, it may provide for momentary satisfaction of the needs of the plants of phosphoric food. The remaining forms continue to deliver an active substance for a longer time period. This feature makes it very ffeective for agriculture because of its extended action. It is not hygroscopic and it has a granular form with equal in size granules which makes its application through fertilizer spreading equipment very precise. It is a recognized product in the technology for cultivating field crops as well as for perennials. In combination with nitrogen fertilizers (ammonium nitrate, urea ammonium nitrate, urea and so on), triple superphosphate is very successfully applied in the development of fertilization programs. Advantages •It boosts the growth of the root system of the young plants •It shortens the time period of youth infertility of young grape vines and fruit trees, it boosts the florescence and the ripening of the fruits •It increases the resistance of the plants to freezing and drought •It has a decisive role for the formation of the quality of the production of cereals, vegetable, fruit, technical and oil-bearing crops •It eliminates the negative influence of one-sided nitrogen fertilization • Plants derive most phosphorus from the soil in the middle of their vegetation when the main volume of vegetative mass is formed and the production is created The following is observed in case of deficit of phosphorus: • Weak and abnormally developed root system • Small-sized and curled at edges blue-green or green leaves with bronze or violet shade • The development, florescence and ripening of the fruits are inhibited • Low resistance to frost and cold • Huge decrease of yield and poor quality of yield

19 Monoammonium phosphate (MAP) General data Mono ammonium phosphate (MAP or ammophos) is a complex, highly concentrated, ballastless, water-soluble mineral fertilizer. It is not hygroscopic and has a granular form with equal in size granules because of which it is dispersed evenly on the soil surface. It contains two main nutrients — 11% nitrogen (N) and 52% phosphoric pentoxide (P2 O5 ) or total 63% of active substance, which makes it easily absorbable by the plants. Ammophos is with the highest percentage of water-soluble P2 O5 (min. 52%) amongst phosphorus fertilizers. The availability of phosphorous ions creates conditions for more energetic absorption of ammonium nitrogen. Phosphorus deficit impacts negatively the blossom formation, the seeds and the fruits which results in lower yields. Monoammonium phosphate provides plants simultaneously with two main nutrients connected in one chemical compound. Due to the high content of phosphorus, it is used predominantly as phosphorus fertilizer. The chemical form of the phosphorus in the monoammonium phosphate is in molecules with long chains, which additionally facilitates its absorption by the plants and inhibits the processes of inactivation of the phosphorus in the soil complex. Monoammonium phosphate is appropriate for fertilization of all soils and crops. Because of the fact that it is water-soluble, it has the properties of fast-acting phosphorus fertilizer, and the low mobility of the phosphorus in the soil allows its use for main, stocking as well as for periodic fertilization. This fertilizer is input with the main treatment of the soil or prior to sowing. It is also used in main and pre-sowing fertilization of all field vegetables, fruit crops, grape vines, herbs and flowers. Advantages • It increases the turgor pressure and the resistance of the plant to stress and diseases • It maintains the balance between the vegetative and the reproductive phase • It stimulates the growth of sprouts, when the plants are under stress from unfavourable conditions surrounding them (low temperatures, insufficient light), and it also contributes to the blossoming and increases the size of the fruit • It improves the qualitative characteristics of the fruits (the contents of sugar, colour, consistency, durability during storage) • It can be used in soils with neutral and slightly alkaline reaction (pH)

21 Diammonium phosphate (DAP) General data Diammonium phosphate (DAP or diammophos) is a complex, highly concentrated, granular mineral fertilizer with excellent physical properties. It contains two main nutrients— 18% nitrogen (N) and 46% phosphoric pentoxide (P2 O5 ) or total 63% active substance. It is obtained through a reaction between phosphoric acid (P2 O5 ) and ammonia (NH3). It is incompatible with other alkaline chemicals due to the fact that its ammonium ions turn into ammonia when they get into medium with higher рH. This product of high quality is easily input into the soils, it is highly soluble, it is not hygroscopic and has a granular form with equal in size granules, which is evenly dispersed along the soil surface. Diammonium phosphate is used for pre-sowing fertilization of winter and spring crops. It is suitable for fertilization of soils rich in potassium. Because of the fact that it is water-soluble, it has the properties of fast-acting phosphorus fertilizer, and the low mobility of the phosphorus in the soil allows its use for main and stocking fertilization. No additional pre-sowing fertilization with nitrogen is needed in autumn crops. It may be applied directly into the soil with the help of conventional equipment for dispersion. Store it in well ventilated, cool and dry storehouse premises which do not allow for moistening or direct sun heating. Heating, leaving it in the open air, mixing with water or with strong bases and with sodium hypochlorite should be avoided. Advantages • It satisfies the needs for balanced input of nutrients depending on the contents of their absorbable forms in the soil • It prevents the deficit of nitrogen. The high content of phosphorus assists the accumulation of sugars in root crops and fruits • It increases the resistance of plants to unfavourable factors (drought, cold/frost), and it increases their resistance to diseases • It maintains the balance between the vegetative and the reproductive phase • It reduces the expenditures for storage, transportation and input into the soil • It can be used in soils with neutral and slightly acid reaction (pH)

10 S General data SDBPRODUCTS S.L. in parallel with the traditionally o ffered and known to the agricultural manufacturers products as ammonium nitrate, triple superphosphate, monoammonium sulphate and diammonium phosphate includes in its product list also the complex combined NP and NPK fertilizers with or without microelements. NPK fertilizers are complex highly efficient combined fertilizers containing the main macronutritional elements nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Advantage of the combined fertilizers is the contents of micro-nutritional elements and the content of sulphur in some of them. The fact that all nutritional elements needed by the plant in the initial phases of its development are collected in one granule makes the NPK fertilizers very productive. The balanced content of nutritional elements contributes to the full satisfaction of the needs of the plants of macro-nutritional substances. The content of more than one element in the fertilizer helps for better assimilation of nutritional elements by the plant roots. In the presence of phosphorus, the nitrogen is assimilated to a greater extent by the plants and the availability of more than one nutritional element in absorbable form contributes to the full value development of the plant. The choice of the specific formulations depends on the conditions and the kind of the grown-up crops. The use of NPK fertilizers guarantees maximum efficiency of invested resources and ensures full value supply of nutritional elements Advantages • Significant increase of the coefficient of use of the nutritional elements • Possibility for accurate and controlled input of comparatively low norms of a certain element, which is difficult to attain with separate fertilization • Reduction of the losses from washing and flying off of the nutritional elements • Lower expenditures at one-time input into the soil - transportation, time and labour
