Dear Parents and Carers,

It is with a touch of sadness and immense joy that I write to inform you of the news that Miss Sarah Kent has been appointed as the Headteacher of Whitstable Junior School. She will be leaving St Nicholas after the Easter holidays and so her last day will be 31st March. Miss Kent has been part of the St Nicholas at Wade Family for the past 8 years, and while I have only had the privilege of working with her for the last two terms she has been crucial in my understanding of the school and the community. She will be missed greatly in school by both the staff and children. Whitstable Junior School are very fortunate to be gaining such an effective leader and I know that you will all join me in wishing her every success as she embarks on this exciting journey into headship.
