El proyecto True Spanish Experience es una iniciativa global de la Ciudad de Cuenca, la Universidad UNED en España y el Consejería de Educación del Gobierno de Castilla la Mancha. A través de un planteamiento educativo innovador, esta ciudad patrimonio de la humanidad abre sus puertas para que los estudiantes internacionales puedan completar su educación en España ya sea de la de la lengua española o de cualquier especialidad académica: Economía, Turismo, Leyes, etc pudiéndolo combinar con prácticas acreditadas en empresas del sector.

The project True Spanish Experience is a global initiative in the city of Cuenca, University UNED of Spain, and the Education Board of Castilla la Mancha. Through an innovative educational approach, the cities heritage of humanity opens its doors so that International Students can complete their education in Spain, either in Spanish or whichever academic preference such as: Economics, Tourism, Law, etc. allowing students the opportunity to combine their studies with accredited internships. The National University of Distant Education (UNED) is responsible for the academic quality of our courses while providing a wide range of university seminars and specific courses in different areas such as (Arts, Tourism, Environmental Science, Economics, etc.) En lo que respecta a nuestros programas de español, el planteamiento académico parte del hecho de que cuando los estudiantes están interesados en un tema se sienten motivados a adquirir el lenguaje de forma significativa para comunicarse e interactuar con el fin de llegar al contenido. Spanish Experience” es mucho más que un curso de español. Nuestros programas se basan en EXPERIENCIAS que son el pilar de la adquisición del lenguaje; contenidos llenos de atractivo que enriquecerán al alumnado extranjero mientras que utilizan la lengua española como lo que es, una herramienta de comunicación.

In regards to our Spanish programs, the academic approach begins when students are interested in a subject. This motivates them to acquire a significant amount of the language in order to communicate and interact with others, allowing them to comprehend the content. Therefore, "Cuenca, the True Spanish Experience" is more than just a Spanish course. Our programs are based on real life experiences that are the pillars of language acquisition; full of attractive content that enriches foreign students as they use the Spanish language as it is, a communication tool.   Todos estos contenidos se desarrollan a partir de cinco áreas o campos que componen nuestras llamadas “Experiencias TSE” y que cada alumno elige en función de sus preferencias e intereses: Naturaleza, Deportes, Arte, Voluntariado, etc.

All of these contents develop a part of five areas or fields that compose our “TSE Experiences” and each student chooses a function that caters to their preferences or interests: Nature, Sports, Art, Volunteer Work, etc. Cuenca es, por otro lado, es el lugar perfecto para programas de inmersión: a una hora de Madrid en plena naturaleza, rica en manifestaciones artísticas y culturales y sobre todo muy segura y acogedora con los alumnos internacionales. Gracias a la “Experience Card” o “Tus Amigos en Cuenca,” programas específicamente desarrollados para estudiantes internacionales por el Ayuntamiento de la Ciudad, los alumnos se integran en la ciudad y se sienten como un español más entre nosotros.

On the other hand, Cuenca is the perfect place for immersion programs: it is an hour from Madrid, full of nature, rich in art and culture, and above all very safe and friendly with its international students. Thanks to the “Experience Card” or “Tus amigos en Cuenca,” programs specifically developed for international students by the City Council, students are integrated in the city and feel as a true Spaniard among us. The winners will attend a TRUE SPANISH EXPERIENCE SPANISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAM for two weeks during the year 2017.

• Preparar en grupos de hasta 2 alumnos un vídeo de máximo 3 minutos (en móvil o en cualquier otro dispositivo de grabación) sobre la siguiente temática: ¿Qué te gusta más de España? •

Prepare in groups of up to 2 students a video of 3 minutes maximum (on your cellphone or whichever recording device) about the follow theme: What do you like most about Spain?

• El nivel de español de los trabajos no es un requisito para ser premiado y se valorará especialmente la creatividad y originalidad de los mismos, así como el interés de los alumnos en conocer y plasmar en sus trabajos los valores y esencias de España para jóvenes como ellos. • The level of Spanish for the projects is not taken in consideration to be successful in our programs.
