Ibrahim came to Leader Ahmed and started with the Scout salute, then said : “Assalamu Alaikum, Leader Ahmed”
Leader Ahmed: Wa’alaikum Assalam Wa Rahmatu Allah . How are you, Ibrahim?
Ibrahim: Thank God, I’m fine, Leader, and things are going well, and we, the Cubs team, are implementing the work plan that we put together for the the scout troop tasks, on the specified dates according to the plan and the agreed timetable, but I want to ask you about an important matter. I heard About the Safe from Harm test and that it is a prerequisite for registration in the World Scout Organization, what is this test, and what is the Safe from Harm policy?
Leader Ahmed: Well, Ibrahim, good question. I was thinking of organizing a training course for you on this subject.
2
Ibrahim: I hope so , our leader, because I asked my friends, the Cubs, and they all heard about it, but they do not have enough information.
Leader Ahmed: The Safe from Harm policy is a system that helps you to understand and know how to identify wrong and inappropriate behavior in camps, and various gatherings of scouts, and to learn how to overcome and deal with them in different situations.
And what are these inappropriate behaviors, Leader?
Leader Ahmed: These behaviors are many, including bullying, aggression, name-calling, racism, physical and sexual abuse... and many more , Ibrahim. The Safe from Harm course teaches you how to deal with and overcome them in a wise and educational manner.
3
Ibrahim: Yes, we need you to prepare a training course for us, Leader, to introduce us and explain to us the details of this policy, so that we can protect ourselves and protect the others participating with us.
Leader Ahmed: sure , Ibrahim. In the next meeting, we will plan and prepare a training course on Safe from Harm.
