Occupational Health (continued) ◼ Once this has been sent off our Occupational Health providers, OH Works, will require you to undertake a few tasks – Immunisation History, vaccinations, blood tests, if necessary. ◼ It is imperative that you keep an eye on your e-mails to ensure any information they need or appointments you need to attend are kept within a timely fashion.

◼ As part of the process for enrolment ◼ You need to fill out a DBS form. ◼ Students who have not completed the DBS form OR have not sent a photo of their DBS certificate as evidence of their registration on the updated service by 10th September, may result in their enrolment being put on hold with Student Finance England, which will pause access to loan funding. ◼ A DBS pack including forms and additional information was posted separately to your home address. Filling out a DBS form ◼ When completing your DBS checks, it is important to take note DBS reference form, so you could track it on the DBS Tracking service: https://secure.crbonline.gov.uk/enquiry/enquirySearc h.do ◼ The issuing of DBS certificates varies for each applicant, however on average you can expect your certificate to be issued between 3 to 8 weeks, which will be posted to your home address.

DBS certificate /university email account ◼ Once you have received your DBS certificate in the post, you are required to email a clear Photo of DBS certificate ASAP to: [email protected] (Please ensure that you include your full name and student reference number in the subject title of your email) ◼ If you have already emailed a copy, then you are not required to resend this.

DBS certificate ◼ It is your responsibility to keep the DBS certificate safe. ◼ a DBS certificate will not be sent directly to UWL, hence why you must email a photo of it to us. ◼ You may be required to bring the original copy of your DBS certificate when attending the first day of placement. ◼ If any declared convictions or offences have appeared on the DBS certificate, you must contact your course leader and PESU (Practice Education Support Unit) on [email protected] and [email protected]
